Some recent notes from the Valley Ideal Org OT Committee. A few things of note (and there is a lot more to be gleaned from these notes): They have stopped including stats They have the same old same old people attending their meetings it would appear the opening of the new "ideal org" changed nothing. They are back to working on "CF" and collecting money for other ideal orgs The stats at the bottom of this posting show that for AN ENTIRE YEAR Valley org had 6 new public start on service and $208,000 in VSD (less than one intensive of auditing a week) - for this they invested … [Read more...]

Endless Fundraising
Fundraising in scientology drives everything. Colin Davie has sent out some doozies before. In this one he flatly states that at the MV Event EVERY SEA ORG AND CLASS V STAFF is doing Ideal Org fundraising. Yes, you read that right. EVERY staff member is fundraising. That has become the OVERRIDING activity of scientology. The "event" is merely an excuse to get people together in one place so they can get their money. Amazing how brazen they are -- he sent this message out to public like it is a perfectly normal thing. Unfortunately, it is. Usual, not normal. … [Read more...]
Scientology Can’t Promote Scientology Using Scientology Anymore
It's Saturday. Yay Terra Cognita Scientology Can’t Promote Scientology Using Scientology Anymore Besides the obvious, what do all these groups have in common? The Foundation for a Drug-Free World. The Way to Happiness Foundation. Applied Scholastics. Narconon. Criminon. WISE. The answer: they’re all businesses under the auspices of Scientology with the goal of driving new people into their orgs and missions. Sure they have other, lesser purposes, but their ultimate objective is to create new Scientologists, who in turn, theoretically add to the coffers of the mother chu … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
Come for the Wacky Velcro Wall... ...leave with your pocket lightened. Remember, this is a $30 million ideal org... These completions show how idle it is It's the top of the bridge Apparently the OT ship isnt trying to clear the planet but is focused on handing out WTH to create "PR area control" with a non-scientology message and boy are they proud of it. Why isn't there a single Scientology mission let alone org on the islands the OT ship frequents? Cause over life??? The ChanMan He will bring you prosperity so you can hand it over to … [Read more...]
Let Freedom Ring from the Molehills
I cringe at the tortured prose of Sakhi Guma, trying too hard to make it seem he has some sort of talent as a poet. (Several of our better educated than me commenters pointed out that this is the text of MLKs famous "I have a dream" speech - unattributed of course and in this case the spoken word does not translate too well to the written) But I shudder at the conceit of L. Ron Hubbard. He actually said that he was here to help make sure the United States delivered the goods. Without irony. And it is repeated today by those who hang on his every word as gospel and they send it out to … [Read more...]
Scientology: A Precise and Exact Science
This is what L. Ron Hubbard wrote in the introduction to Fundamentals of Thought -- the last scientology book he published. (The cover of the first edition identifies him as L. Ron Hubbard, C.E., Ph. D - both self appointed credentials) He wrote this, but because of the claims about his "science" and himself, Hubbard attributed this as an "Editors Note." But make no mistake, these words were written by L. Ron Hubbard. And they form the introduction to his ultimate summation of the subject of scientology in book form. Though this has been edited to be more palatable and defensible in the … [Read more...]
What About the E-Meter?
This article is by regular commenter Bruce Ploetz. Bruce was in the SO for 25 years, at the Int Base for 19 years -- one of the few true genuises I have ever met. He is an Associate of Science in Electronics Technology. When it comes to the E-Meter, there is likely no more qualified expert on earth. Bruce is named on five patent applications for work concerning the MK VII E-Meter and Learning Accelerator and won a patent with one other for the Drills Simulator. An Electronics Technician, he worked up from that to Electronics Engineer in Silicon Valley, then Director of Research and Design for … [Read more...]
Austin Org
One of our regular readers stopped by the Austin Org yesterday, since he was town for the day. Here is his report: There was an unstaffed table out front under their awning (their façade is back a few feet from the street), with some free movie tickets, free personality tickets, and brochures sitting under rocks so they wouldn’t blow away. They looked like they had been there awhile, a bit wrinkled. There were a couple of older posters in the windows, one for OCA. I spoke with Barbara McFadyen who has been in for decades. She is apparently an OT VIII who appears to … [Read more...]
The CSW or How to Never Get a Day Off
Saturday is Terra Cognita day. Yay! RB on Friday and TC on Saturday are a virtual weekend for me. The CSW or How to Never Get a Day Off In his HCOPL of 4 September 1959, Completed Staff Work (C.S.W.)—How to Get Approval of Actions and Projects, The Most Important Piece of Your Hat, LRH introduced a piece of policy from his days in the military to “reduce dev-t and increase speed of action.” Developed traffic: work that juniors put on seniors’ lines that add time and effort to the exec’s busy schedules. Little is more important to Scientology personnel than speed-of- … [Read more...]
