The Sea Org coat of arms includes one word, the latin Revenimus - "We Come Back." It is the motto of the Sea Org. I received an email recently about the passing of Ken Delderfield which reminded me of how many of the important names from the early years of the Sea Org have now passed. Ken was the LRH Communicator WorldWide and then was on the Apollo and began the Pubs Org. He was the person who got the original OEC Volumes compiled and printed. Recently we learned of the death of Tony Dunleavy, Hubbard's "Staff Captain" for many years and then the first Captain of the Flag … [Read more...]

The Middle Class Threatens Scientology
Here is some more wisdom from "Ron". He wrote a whole treatise about being "PTS to the Middle Class". These "middle-class values" are "MEST oriented" and cause people to NOT want to give money to scientology but rather to buy a house or a car or go to college. These are not worthwhile pursuits of course because they detract from one's dedication to scientology. That middle class is defined by him in draconian terms: they love a "cop America" and to "keep the down-and-outer out and down." They are all around evil (though scientology relies on them in large part for its … [Read more...]
Hubbard, his Photographs and the IRS
Christi Gordon came across this 1975 document and forwarded to me. It contains some interesting material worthy of comment. Hubbard announces he has been informed that there will be no deal with the IRS and thus there will be a 4 or 5 year fight. OF course, he has a solution that will save the day (history doesn't look kindly on many of his predictions and solutions). And this is an especially bizarre one. IN 1974 Hubbard had begun shooting “photo stories” aboard the Apollo. These horrendously staged and lit images were the focus of attention of a large number of crew at the time -- cr … [Read more...]
Ron, Sarah and Alexis
In response to yesterday's post about following "In the Footsteps of Ron" at his Bay Head, NJ house where he wrote Dianetics, a reader sent me the following photographs, noting, A couple of pictures they may not have on the wall. With Sarah and baby Alexis, taken by Robert Heinlein. You can be 100% sure these photos are nowhere to be found in "Ron's Bay Head house" or in any of the "Ron" series or any other publication about Hubbard's life by scientology. Sarah never existed, according to Hubbard's statement to the media when asked about her, and Alexis was not his daughter -- … [Read more...]
In the Footsteps of Ron
This is a pretty sad commentary on the brainwashed sheeple of scientology. CST bought this house in Bay Head NJ where Hubbard wrote Dianetics and his house in Phoenix where he "developed/discovered" scientology. They were "restored" to their sort of original state (can't be too authentic as wouldn't want Ron looking "tacky" or "cheap" even if he was) and are both available for "tours" that promise you can "walk in the footsteps of Ron." Of course, the only people that would be interested in such a thing are scientologists. Nobody else cares. And certainly nobody else aspires to "be like … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
An "Extravagaza" On Wednesday night. Should be a big draw. Maybe they can get the Palestinian community to show up in support... Damning with Faint Praise This worth a promo piece? They will feed you... If you just agree to sit through this stuff. It's like one of those Time Share offers or "your cemetery plot awaits, come for a free dinner at Rudy Tuesday's to find out how to secure it." What ideal org alliance? I thought California was done? And does this poster make ANY sense? You could be Olivia Newton-John? Why? How would that … [Read more...]
Guy White Speaks
In a new article in the Daily Mail, L. Ron Hubbard's former son-in-law speaks out for the first time. This is a bombshell. Knowing as much as I do about the circumstances surrounding Guy, Miscavige, L. Ron Hubbard and scientology, you can be assured he is not making anything up. You can read the article in the link above. It contains a lot of information that many may not have heard about the Hubbard family. What I found most revealing though is the cookie-cutter response from scientology. These days they apparently can't muster much of a defense. It's very standard stuff. ANd … [Read more...]
More Idiocy from STAAD
Another installment from the fertile, juvenile minds of the STAAD League. One of their "bloggers" has a new take on Leah and me -- we are "leeches." Here is how Leland Thoburn starts his rant: "Why would anyone devote their life to tearing someone else down?" Well, funny you ask that Leland. I actually spent nearly 50 years of my life devoted to building up scientology. I was virtually unpaid that entire time, and ended up with no money, no resume and no family when I left. So, unless this qualifies as devoting my life to tearing down the enemies of … [Read more...]
The Sole Cause of Decline in This Universe
Hubbard created an environment in scientology of "Us v. Them" -- a hallmark of cult indoctrination. You must have an "enemy" upon whom you can lay blame for all failure/terrible conditions and if you can then convince your followers that you are the only one who understands the dangers and can vanquish this scourge and set your followers free, then you have them hooked through fear. And if you can then also promise unlimited happiness/spiritual freedom/eternity then you have both the stick and the carrot. L. Ron Hubbard the "whole track SPs" as psychiatry. He at first sought their … [Read more...]
