This is the sixth installment of the account of a journey into and out of scientology -- written by one of our long-term readers. I hope you enjoy her insights, humor and style. Lili also provided a glossary of terms. Through the Bubble - Lili’s Adventures in Scientologyland This is my quirky recollection of events. Others may remember things differently. Lingo is italicized on the first mention, capitalized after that. I’ve compressed complexities in the cult to simplify your reading pleasure. Big Time Dissemination in Vancouver…
They're really making serious inroads in Clearing The Planet in Vancouver. They have completed the first step -- by placing 4 stand up displays of booklets promoting free personality tests. Yes, 4 of them. And boy are they proud of this. It's the biggest dissemination effort they have ever made in Vancouver apparently. When Ron said to "Think Big" in order to reach St. Hill size, apparently this is exactly the sort of massive infiltration into society he was referring to. With this sort of thinking pervading the Vancouver scientology bubble, they should have an Ideal Org there before … [Read more...]

Thursday Funnies
Lots of funnies about the Dear Leader in the Sky this week -- celebrating his birth on this earth, not so much his departure though (come to think of it, why isn't January 24th celebrated as the day he completed his OT work on this prison planet?). All people on this planet? He is helping them by giving money to renovate a building in Cape Town?? Hey Michal, why dont you join the Sea Org? Catching up to the internet era... Aren't they afraid people are going to see things they shouldn't by fishing around with their phones? A … [Read more...]
What the World Needs Now
One of our readers sent this to me and I thought it very appropriate and something I could republish while on my Spring Break.... What the World Needs Now I guess I expected that having been prevented from mingling with other humans for most of 2020, people would greet the return of social activity with smiles, hugs, and good fellowship. But I was wrong. An October 2021 article on time.com, entitled “Why Everyone is So Rude Right Now,” reported several incidents of assault on restaurant workers, a bus driver, and a flight attendant when clients were asked to wear a mask or control their la … [Read more...]
The Aftermath Foundation Cards
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. A scientology FSM hands out business cards to attract new marks. Interesting she chooses a quote that calls scientology an "applied philosophy" and not a religion, yet she uses the quote (without attribution) that Hubbard said Volunteer MINISTERS should use "I will talk to you or anyone for you about anything." I suspect this business card is part of a campaign by scientology having seen the repeated postings on social media of people leaving Aftermath Foundation business cards in front of orgs, on notice boards, in … [Read more...]
Fair Game Podcast
We are taking off for Spring Break, so no new episode. I am taking the family to New York City for the week. Re-listen to any episodes you may have missed. Or re-listen to those you especially enjoyed. I guarantee you will get more out of them the second time through, there is always information that slides by because there is SO MUCH to learn. I also recommend Jon Atack's podcast (Jon Atack, family and friends) on YouTube. I have some postings pre-prepared, and there will be the usual Thursday Funnies and Regraded Being. … [Read more...]

More Mappin Madness
I recently wondered whether John Mappin was a Russian Propagandist, Nazi or Fool (or all of the above)... He seems to have eliminated one of the categories and doubled down on the other two. Apparently, he is not a Nazi. His reference to being a Pureblood, smacked of naziism, so I wondered. It's apparently code for "COVID unvaccinated" -- a poor choice of word to use under any circumstance, but hardly a big shock that those who use it wouldn't find it objectionable. But he did announce himself loud and proud as a Russian Propagandist with this social media … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Unfortunately, RB had a death in the family (not immediate family member, but helping deal with the fallout and funeral arrangements) which gives us an excuse to revisit an oldie but goodie. It also reminds me of the tremendous amount of time and work RB has devoted to entertaining and informing us over the years -- literally hundreds of cartoon strips that remain as funny and incisive today as they did when first drawn. Here we have one of the classics -- Timmy and the Dorm Boys: … [Read more...]
