Watch this short video here. Anyone who has ever attended a scientology event featuring David Miscavige will find these short videos eerily familiar. The blind, over-the-top adulation. The fear of being identified as someone who is not enthusiastic enough in their praise for the Dear Leader. In N. Korea this might result in being sent to a prison camp. In scientology it’s a minimum trip to the ethics department for an expensive attitude adjustment program — or as happened to me, assignment to clean the bilges on the Freewinds . That was because an announcement failed to elicit a standing ova … [Read more...]

L. Ron Hubbard Day Proclamation Footbullet
As reported in the Daytona Beach News-Journal, a local mayor rescinded his proclamation marking March 13 as "L. Ron Hubbard Day." "After careful consideration and in alignment with my commitment to honor individuals who have positively impacted our community, I am announcing the rescinding of the proclamation of L. Ron Hubbard," Deltona Mayor Santiago Avila wrote in a post on X. "It was never my intention to recognize Mr. Hubbard, and moving forward, I will implement new Proclamation Guidelines to ensure that our proclamations reflect the values and priorities of the citizens of … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Vision for Clearwater; Why Mark Bunker Must Be Re-elected
The crazy never stops on so many levels. Peter Byrne thinks his photo proves that downtown Clearwater is NOT a "wasteland." The only people in this photo are 3 Sea Org members on the sidewalk and 4 cars on the road. Every one of those buildings on the left hand side of the street are completely empty. He also thinks that downtown Clearwater is benefited by scientology: "If not for scientology, downtown Clearwater would be a wasteland." The correct statement is that BECAUSE of scientology, downtown Clearwater IS a wasteland. I guess Peter Byrne has not been to downtown Dunedin or downtown … [Read more...]
An Amazing Weekend
Last weekend, Christie and the boys and I visited Washington DC courtesy of an incredible organization: Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation My oncologist referred us to them, and we were soon contacted by Kerry McGavin to help us make arrangements. Kerry is a perfect representative of the organization -- cheerful, caring and a logistical wizard. This is how JAJF describes its mission: t Treating families to WOW! Experiences, giving children who will lose their Mom or Dad to cancer a timeout to create indispensable memories as a family...while they can. The Jack & Jill Late … [Read more...]
Going to Have to Sell a LOT of Cupcakes
This is not going to make the grade. It's almost sad to think these poor deluded people in one of the absolute forgotten, backwater scientology organizations are holding a bake sale to try to get an ideal org (and it's not even IN Aarhus, but at AOSHEU because there are only a handful of scientologists in Aarhus itself). It's like some kids with lemonade stand raising money to buy a house in Beverly Hills. After 20 years of the ideal org program, they're just now getting going on Aarhus... Cause over life? … [Read more...]
Alex Barnes-Ross is On Fire — Scientology in the UK Feeling The Heat
Alex Barnes-Ross has become scientology's Public Enemy #1 in the UK. He is doing incredible work to expose scientology's abuses and is now to bringing the appropriate agencies into play to do something about it. This is the latest article on his Scientology Business website that I am reprinting below in full. If you are not subscribed to his website, please do so here. It contains updates and news of things that are occurring that have real significance. No fluff. No sensationalism. Real action. The Chief Executive of HM Revenue and Customs, the UK’s tax o … [Read more...]
An Ideal Org Success Proving Failure
This is an ideal org "success" that actually speaks volumes about its failure. Denver was declared an "ideal org" in 2012. It has remained small and failing since -- making money to pay their bills by selling parking spaces to people attending Rockies games. So much for the 10.4X expansion that was touted as happening in all ideal orgs once they opened. The ONLY "completion" they have to announce is one that happened in Los Angeles at a completely different org. And even then -- they are so lacking any sort of good news that they devote a whole poster to someone completing … [Read more...]
Clearwater Election: Why Mark Bunker?
A recent article in the Tampa Bay Times highlights why it is so important to re-elect Mark Bunker to the City Council and not either of his opponents. Neither of these candidates opposing Bunker have any understanding of scientology. Mike Mastruserio: Quoting from the Times article: Mastruserio said he considers revitalizing downtown the city’s most pressing issue. In a campaign flyer, he stated: “Scientology continues to hurt our city’s reputation, handicap our overall development, especially downtown.” He said Bunker has not done enough to address Scientology’s … [Read more...]
It’s Official: Chicago Org Ribbon Yanking 3 March
Finally, it’s going apparently going to happen. Another monument to MEST orientation (that was a terrible thing in scientology back in the “good” old days) is going to be anointed by Dear Leader Miscavige as proof of the massive, unprecedented, straight up and vertical international expansion of scientology. Such a sham. They will fly, bus, train and drive their way to Chicago from all over the US. They will scrape up a few hundred people and some shanghai’d* staff from other areas. The big man will jet in, be cheered and applauded for some inane words from the teleprompter. Everyone will … [Read more...]
Carrot on a Stick — Literally
This is what the mighty ideal org in Melbourne is reduced to. Holding a farmer's market to try to get anyone to show up at their building so the regges have some prey to circle. One of our commenters quoted Hubbard concerning yesterday's post and it’s entirely applicable here: SOLVE IT WITH SCIENTOLOGY [Excerpt from HCO Policy Letter of 24 February 1964 Urgent-Org Programming) If the Org slumps: Don’t engage in “fund raising” or “selling postcards” or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology. It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions fo … [Read more...]
