As many of you know, there have been some difficulties with Amazon concerning the non-US edition being published by Humfrey Hunter and Silvertail Books.
Sadly, the problems with A Billion Years caused all of Silvertail’s titles to be removed from Amazon, which hurt other authors they publish. Through a lot of hard work and persistence, Humfrey has now resolved the issue and all his books are back up. But titles that were previously noted as “bestsellers” have been reset to “zero.” Any pre-orders of A Billion Years will likely have been lost (check your Amazon account) and you will need to re-order.
Silvertail put out a tweet thread about this and I include it in its entirety below. You can see the other authors he lists with current books and if any interest you, please purchase them. You will note Silvertail also published Going Clear, Leah’s book, John Sweeney’s, Tony Ortega’s and Steve Cannane’s.

Of course, the irrepressible John Sweeney weighed in:
Hi Mike, I’m in Wagga, NSW, and I just when to both the bookstores in town, Collins Booksellers and QBD Books. Neither had your book in stock, which I assumed was due to being sold out post-Christmas. However, when the staff checked their computers, it wasn’t available for their suppliers; Collins Booksellers said this was unusual as they usually stock books from your publisher. Do you have any idea what’s up here?

I was planning on finding a copy in my local library however because of all the fuss they are raising over Mike’s book I’m going to preorder a copy just to spite them and push his book up on the seller list. Perhaps I’ll order a bunch for friends and family too. Christmas is just around the corner!

I can confirm that I DID need to pre-order Mike’s book again from Amazon UK. I urge everyone to check the status of their own pre-orders.

Did I read John Sweeney’s tweet correctly? Did the Church of Scientology really try to take down Silvertail books? Did the Church of Scientology really try to suppress Mr. Rinder’s “A Billion Years”?
Now that’s what I would call “bad press.”
I’m rootin’ for the mean old Church of Scientology. Why? Because it is imploding before our very eyes!
Evil has the seeds of it’s own destruction inherent in the expression of that evil. They may have a day or two of glory, but they always end up like Hitler, Hubbard, Miscavige, Pol Pot etc.
