Something a little different.
It’s not often we get to see a scientology “goldenrod” these days. Though this one is from 2010, it is no different than what is produced today, and it is proof that scientologists are NOT allowed to report crimes to authorities.
We explain this document and the terminology in our latest YouTube video.
Committee of Evidence Policy Letter
The “Taylor Holley” blog post about scientology running afoul of the IRS prohibition against violating “public policy.”

The Way to Happiness? Really?

In my 30 years in the cult I was part of numerous comm evs. Both receiving and giving. In early years they seemed to be a justice system based on the evidence. Still a very harsh system with little safeguards.
After the 90’s seemed you were given the outcome, the expected findings. No room for listening to evidence, trying to adjudicate the fine points . Of course I have learned in my 20 years out of the cult it was all based on ridiculous standards of the ethics book and other policies by Hubbard.

Just another example that the only underlying thing holding the CofS together is disagreement & punishment. That is the common denominator church members are forced to agree upon and must freely demonstrate it among themselves or face serious repercussions if they don’t. Knowledge reports and security checks are the group’s transmission line of disagreements and ethics is the punishment enforcing section of the church. The whole conceptional basis of “attack, never defend,” is centered around a core belief of disagreement first followed by punishment by any means feasible or possible. Their public image is in tatters because they lie to & about themselves and to non Scientologists alike.
What is a Golden Rod if it is not based upon a lie?

Wow. Does that ever “key me in.” I wish when I was getting my kangaroo court Committee of Evidence and asked whether I plead guilty or innocent (I’m going to vomit.), I would have told them to go Eff themselves. Not understanding that the cards are stacked against one, will lead that individual to plead “guilty” to like a good scientologist, which them leads to actions or declares against that individual or if its a plea of “not guilty” will lead to actions or declares against that individual.
Perusing the above reminded me of what a cruel, vile, destructive organization this cherch is. Everything they do, say or refer to as policy goes back to supporting the cherch and “owning” the individual. Thankfully more and more are getting out or never getting in because of the exposure or the education out here as to how a high control group or individual works its ways.
