It contains a quote from Hubbard that is not dated. Probably from the 50’s or 60’s, but let’s assume for argument’s sake these were his last words in 1986.
That’s almost 40 years ago now — and I guess the passage of time has proven that in fact we CAN’T clear Earth.
Things have in fact gone backwards. Even counting all the “Dianetic” and “Natural” Clears — there were no more than 75,000 cumulative by 1986. The population of earth in 1986 was 5 billion. Today it is 8 billion.
Today, according to scientology’s latest Clear number that I have reported is 75,900 in 2023.
So, in 1986 there was 1 Clear ever in 67,000 people alive today. At present it’s one to 100k. There are tens of millions of new NON-Clears being made every year (where do all these thetans come from?) The Planet is literally LESS Clear today than it was yesterday and the decline is accelerating.
The rallying cry of “we are Clearing the Planet” is a joke.
Clearing Earth is an ill-defined and thus impossible goal to achieve. No wonder they’ve been floundering all these years!
A better objective would be the following:
1. Clear the world of Scientology
2. Deprogram Scientologists infected with the “Hubbard is source” virus
3. Get them to think their own thoughts
A painful, yet necessary step on the road to recovery.

If the PURPOSE is to CLEAR EARTH why the F would you cancel all the auditor’s certs and make them study the whole shebang all over again at their own expense (GAT 1) and then cancel all THOSE certs and make them study everything yet AGAIN (GAT 2) and WHY would you ALSO require that BEFORE a student could do ANY auditor training he/she MUST do the FULL Basics Course package…WHY would any sane person in charge of Scientology Tech – irespective of whether or not you believe it works or not, I’m just making a point – WHY would someone in charge of achieving this goal make it SO hard, SO expensive and SO time consuming to become trained as an auditor, IF the SINCERE PURPOSE is to Clear Planet Earth, which entails clearing, what? – 7 billion people…i? 3. The two things that made expert auditors and ensured standard tech, the Class VI and Class VIII courses, have been gone for 28 YEARS.

5. Whoever did this is an SP.

Phillip, in fact, for me, even when I was in the SO, this has always been a question mark.
If there is an apparent alarm in the neighborhood for a supposed fire and everyone is participating to contain it or save people, it’s strange for someone to start selling firefighter clothes, courses on how to manage the disaster, and why not donations for the next neighborhood party on the spot. This would dangerously delay everything.
If clearing this planet is so urgent, and even overdue, why those high prices and all that time-wasting fundraising that distracts from the goal?
There is no real urgency. Just sales talk. They have no clue about what to really do.

In its entire 74 year history no Scientology Org or International management body has ever went Clear.
INT Base is not Clear.
RTC is not Clear.
OSA is not Clear and is, in fact, full of people in hiding who must non-Scientologist contractors to do its work.
Flag Land Base is not Clear.
The $100 million dollar paperweight a/k/a Scientology Media Productions is not Clear.
Pac Base is not Clear.
St. Hill is not Clear.
No Sea Org Org is Clear.
The fact that Scientology cannot make Clear even one of its own management organizations or one of its own Sea Org Org’s shows the delusional nature of the claim.
The real test would be this: Scientology needs to make just ONE of its own management organizations or Sea Org Org’s Clear to prove the concept.

YES! Even in 1970/1 when the postulate check fiasco had the orgs in treason I said: If you have all of this time on your hands why not train and audit all staff to improve their lot? “But, the orgs are in treason so each staff member is in treason.’ F**K that said me as I walked out for some years.
At that same time Phil Spickler’s franchise in Palo Alto was thriving doing only Book One training and co-auditing. His success? All of his staff were early clears, all class 6/8, and no ethics to muddy the scene. Hubbard took their money and was jealous. The 1984 Mission Massacre shut down the only workable aspect of Hubbard’s scheme.

Back in the late seventies, I was completely convinced that we were on the verge of clearing the planet. At the time, there was a global push that created a new fervor to “clear Earth.” Clams like me, believed that a worldwide movement had begun. I can’t speak for others, but I also believed that such an ambitious and comprehensive plan could be achieved in a matter of a few years. In retrospect, it’s difficult to fathom how this ludicrous pipe dream can be sustained with propaganda rather than results.

This is a good question. And depending on the answer given, the concept of the thetan would lose all its meaning, and consequently, all of scn would no longer make sense.
Many Eastern religions (from which hubbard often claimed to draw inspiration) have a very different concept. In short, we are all extensions (therefore points of view) of a single consciousness, which through these experiences gains self-awareness. There is no separation, nor are there eternal beings unto themselves or ‘personal home universes.’
As for clearing Earth, just look at the fascist internal conditions of scn to understand what they are really clearing.
There were “trillions” of thetans left on Earth after Xenu fried half the confederation.
That doesn’t seem to include Earth’s native animal and insect populations, which would take Xenu’s death toll up into the quintillions. And what of plants, bacteria, archaea, algae, protozoa? (Yes, GEs are thetans too – bigot!) I assume they were also vacuumed up and implanted.
Of course, most of these ended up as BTs/clusters and attached themselves to those who came after.
And of those who came after, some must have decided to stick around long enough to see the Marcabians installing a forcefield around the exosphere and setting up implant stations in the Pyrenees. I guess that wasn’t considered creepy or suspicious.
The rest of us were thetanapped from elsewhere and dumped here like trash. Possibly in an ice cube.
So if my reasoning [sic] is correct then either:
1. There are at least billions more thetans trapped on Earth than previously thought. They wander among us, patiently waiting for new bodies to become available. They were either already here when the Marcabians first arrived or have been dumped here since as part of some super mass dumping extravaganza (some five billion on the homo sap line alone since 1967).
2) Body thetans don’t need to be audited at all. They can and do take bodies when available. Maybe they just tag along with us for the ride while they wait.

After pondering it for a long time, I opted for the third conclusion. All bollocks.
