The latest insanity comes courtesy of the Uniform IC PAC — Val Page (daughter of Homer Schomer who was at ASI, queried certain financial practices, was abused, kicked out and declared and his daughter has not spoken to him in 30 years!).
But that is not the point here. In case any further proof was needed, the vulture culture has permeated every corner of the RCS. All the way down to the “Uniform IC” — a post that has NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER with the public — sending out begging emails to get money for a “PAC Events Center” to “usher public up the Bridge:”
Dear Friend,
A dream is coming true here at PAC – the entire Base is being made Ideal as LRH intended since it was originally established 38 years ago. This started with the opening of the Ideal LA Org and the Ideal ASHO, Ideal AOLA and Ideal Hollywood Test Center are all now under renovations!
With Golden Age of Tech Phase II just on the horizon, we are preparing for a whole new level of Bridge Flow and delivery, meaning floods of Scientologists moving up the Bridge to OT and trained auditors.
I am writing to you as your help is needed for a crucial component of this Ideal PAC Base. This is the new PAC Auditorium which is being established to house all events on the PAC Base. It has been a long time coming and is an integral part to the Base where we will be holding Graduations, Seminars, World Tours, Conventions, community gatherings and huge 4th dynamic salvage campaign events to salvage Los Angeles.
This facility is being put in place through the contributions of Scientologists and we are contacting all those who have travelled up the Bridge here in PAC to be the first to contribute. As an Alumni of our Base, it is only appropriate to ask you to make a donation to the status of “PAC Alumni” which is $5,000.
This is a whole new era for PAC as we establish a fully Ideal Base to prepare for the unprecedented boom coming with Golden Age of Tech Phase II and I thank you in advance for acting to make this future a reality.
Yours Truly,
Valerie Page

To claim that building an auditorium in the parking lot of LA Org is making PAC “Ideal as LRH intended” is just wacko. First, LRH said NOTHING about taking up the parking spaces of LA Org and ASHO with an “auditorium”. In fact, he never contemplated even HOLDING the Nuremberg Rallies that Miscavige is so fond of. Secondly, right or wrong, he said new public for LA Org were to be procured at the “Hollywood Test Center” on Hollywood Blvd (they have spent millions and many years working on “renovating” this), NOT on Sunset where there is NO body traffic. Not trying to tell them what to do here, but if they could actually put on a Dianetics Seminar at a local hotel and get 100 people to attend it would be about 20x what they are currently doing. They could rent a room in a hotel for a few hundred bucks.
If in fact this is supposed to be an auditorium for “Int Events” then there is something VERY wrong. The Shrine has been being used for decades, and each passing event the attendance is getting less. They should really be using the Palladium or some other venue now as they cannot get more than 4000 to any event. But they could not build an auditorium to even hold 4000 as they do not have parking.
But on top of this — Voldemort’s Tent is making its way across Alligator Alley from Miami as we speak (last reported in a rest stop outside of Naples having traveled more than 857,000 feet in just the last 24 hours alone!!!!!!) and THIS is going to be THE event facility from now on…. So, why ANOTHER one? Oh, I know, it sounds like “the thing to do”. It’s the latest “humanitarianish action” for all “Ideal Scientologists” to participate in. Especially in LA as clearly Valley Org is just spinning its wheels, going nowhere. So, time to try something new to suck money out of LA area public.
But what is really cool about this is ANOTHER STATUS. The enviable “PAC Alumni” signified by a flashing neon lapel pin replicating the famous sign on Sunset Blvd. It really makes you stand out.
But all joking aside, how sad is this? And pathetic.

Mike, you have a knack with words that makes me laugh. At first I thought hyperbole, but the Hitler-esque nature of scientology events became unpalatable to me….with the constantly recurring “three cheers for LRH” and standing ovations… once I’d gotten a clue. Absent from the church for a couple of years, I went to a birthday event at the Shrine in 1996 and spent most all my time in the lobby talking to people rather than participate in the madness.

A former Int Landlord person who’s familiar with the various CSWs over the decades, to utilize the LAD parking lot I wish would recall and lay out all the details.
I for one have heard, while in the PAC RPF the several times I was in it, from the PAC Base Crew staff telling us, that there were a number of CSWs over the years, to make the LAD iparking lot into a two sectioned faility.
One section would be a constructed multi-level parking garage, to thus solve the parking lot use question.
The other section would be the PAC auditorium.
Long range questions are the actual length of time that the complex will be physically safe to use, due to the earthquake strength of the buildings, that strength deteriorating over the decades, and buildings have “use by” dates, unless refurbished. Leb Hall being the un-reburbished dangerous non earthquake proof building that is still a backlog to get handled and earth quake proofed as a priority.
Really, with the money, I’d say some 50 year planning should be the determining long range factor(s).
Why spend much on a spiffy multi-level garage and new auditorium, if the PAC Base Complex is coming near to the “use by” dates of the buildings!
And, this whole issue ought be put before the whole LA and western US orgs, all of whom look up to and utilize the PAC Base orgs for Class 6, Class 6, OT 3, 4, 5 levels of Scientology.
The whole upper Bridge, to OT 5, is what the PAC Base is all about.
So much to think how this all interrelates.
So many non executives in the top ranks to even discuss this publicly, and allow the membership of this Western US continental region to even take some membership responsibility to the overall long range planning of their religion in this continental zone.
Scientology has so compartmented the responsibilities away from the membership, that it’s a systemic “sheeple” setup.
The members ought be involved in the discussion for what they want.
They don’t need an auditorium, if they just block off and use LRH Way, which was done for years and years in the 1990s. Keep the LAD Parking lot for what it is.
The permit problems, their legal blocking the LRH Way sidewalks during those events, was illegal per the permits, and people like LA citizen Doug Owens challenged and made that point to city officials, the illegal overstepping the permits that PAC legal nerd (OSA demotee, Ken Long is the DSA PAC guy charged with getting the permits).
I think the collective actions of protesters, particularly Doug Owens, had an impact on making LRH Way venue a no-no choice for “security’ reaons (Doug punched through their “security” with his citizen’s rights actions).,
But, Scientology has problems, truly for their other oppressive rules.
Were Scientology to somehow mature to how the Catholics behave publicly, then Scientology events could be held on LRH Way, and just let all public come to those events.
Change the tone of the movement, and both the LAD parking lot and LRH Way would be adequate venues to save that 36-45 thousand dollar pop payment that Scientology otherwise gives away to the Shrine each year for each Shrine event they hold!
Change the PR tone of the movement, mature, like the Catholic church in terms of liberal allowance of self criticism by the membership, of the Scientology official church abuses.
Let the Scientologists self criticize, drop the legalistic security conscious crap, and let them membership mature and dialogue publicly about their movement’s abuses, is the way out of the security mindset crap Scientology has gotten itself stuck into.
AOLA is the advance org. Advanced as a word could be replaced with a word that Scientologists need to learn how to accept how to discuss publicly!

But it does make sense that in this miscavige’s Ideal Golden Age of No Delivery of Anything, no parking lots are really needed because the only idiots showing up are in buses!

Mr Rinder,
You seem like a very intelligent man which is why I’m struggling to understand why you still support LRH, when essentially it is HIS ideals and policies that have torn your own children away from you. Yes DM is enforcing them now, but LRH created them!
Ronnie Bell says
Elle, LRH cancelled the policy of disconnection long before Miscavige ever seized control of the church, and pardon me, but his expressed ideals never included ripping families apart.
Elle says
Ronnie,
You have to ask yourself, what kind of man comes up with such policies as disconnection and fair game in the first place? It’s reminiscent of tactics that would be used in a totalitarian state.

https://images.encyclopediadramatica.se/e/ee/Fairgame_revoked.jpg
Elle says
But you can still use Fair Game on an SP, which I believe Mike was indeed declared, thus the policy was in use. What kind of religious person says that it’s ok to declare all out war on someone who doesn’t believe in their religion anymore or worse still leaves? Hubbard created the policy to instill more fear in potential disafectors and critics, thus preventing disaffection and criticism of the church, ultimately ensuring that Scientology would outlive its naysayers… and LRH lives on.
He was an evil tyrant IMO…
Ronnie Bell says
Well, there goes any hope for an Ideal Parking Lot.
Which reminds me, did they ever clear all the junk out of the parking structure at the Complex and open it to the public? That’s another thirty year incomplete cycle.
Indie8Million says
Hi Ronnie,
Ideal Parking lot. DM doesn’t care about parking because he knows that these buildings will never fill up.
Yes, they did open that parking structure to the public. You just have to go to security and prove that you’re on course to get an access card.
What’s funny about the ASHO parking lot is that all of the spots on the LRH Way side are assigned to residents that can no longer park on the street.
Know what’s funny about that “beautiful” street? When you look down it at night, it looks like one of those streets that you don’t want to go down without knowing somebody there. You’d think that they could make it look a little less foreboding.
Ronnie Bell says
DM doesn’t care about parking because he knows that these buildings will never fill up.
That was actually my first thought upon reading this article. What’s the point of letting all that valuable square footage sit idle, when you can build a temple devoted to glorifying His DiMness and round-the-clock regging?
When you think about it, this building may be the first of its kind. An ‘Ideal’ building purchased by the public, and dedicated to delivering nothing having to do with the actual VFPs of Scientology. It’s the perfect launch into the Golden Age of Condition 1 Exchange!
Indie8Million says
Good point. No delivery of any kind but for blows to parishioner’s financial well being.

Some observations along the real estate line…
Notice how fast they were able to renovate the Oak Cove? And how slow to do the Mecca? Reason? The Oak Cove will generate accommodations income. Why move the IAS Event to Clearwater? They have rooms to fill in Clearwater, and don’t in East Grinstead. I mean if you’re going to hold an international event you might as well milk it.
The PAC Events Center. Why not a Sports Center? Or a Ideal Life and Fitness Center? What’s next…a Scn Shopping Mall? Complete with The Ron Store, for all your LRH memorabilia. Get your photo taken with Ron! A 24 hour IAS Reg office? Scn branded coffee? Special Scn line of apparel; the Miscavige Collection…dress just like COB. Or maybe a Scn Amusement Park (kids not allowed)? Or a Scn Walk of Fame? My God, there is no end to the commercial possibilities.

There is a key phrase here in the promo which really lets you know where Miscavige is coming from. Did y’all catch “USHER THE MASSES”? And this is just an indicator of what is the true key of Miscavige’s communist viewpoint (which I will reveal by the end of this post – not kidding about this). By the way, this is just following directly the path that LRH set out. Whenever he could, Ron railed against “socialism”. “commies”, “one worlders” and “poor woikers.” (Anyone who has studied LRH’s works is familiar with him using these terms numerous times). It is really rich to look at that as LRH in time imitated NO other group on Earth so much as the old Soviet Union. Scientology, and especially the Sea Org, took almost all its administrative cues and procedures from the USSR, including its own secret police/intelligence operation, its own gulags, enforced thought on the “party line”, continual checks on its members (“checkouts”) to make sure they agreed with every one of the founder’s utterances (to say nothing of the “security checks” to make sure members stayed “pure” in thought and behavior, re-definition of words, created enemies to focus the group members on, kangaroo courts with every aspect run by HCO to find anyone guilty who deviated from group directed behavior, a whole system of INFORMING on friends and family, and of course COMPLETE ALLEGIENCE to the group above all else (“duty motivation” being the highest motivation), and of course obfuscation of true intentions at every turn (KSW begins by putting down the idea that the group should be everything and the individual nothing and yet ends with an endorsement of almost the complete opposite). And don’t forget Ron’s affinity for controlling every aspect of parishioners’ lives (especially SO members) from diet to 2D behavior to scented soaps, etc) And by the way, I’m not even getting into Ron’s socialist way of running Scientology administratively – the disallowing of competition re:prices and services and his eventual rubber stamping of allowing Miscavige to take the missions’ monies re-directed to the central church. And of course his attacks on Christianity … it being the “main completion” both to the USSR and Scientology.
But the KSW term that reveals the communist subtext is “same terms as the rest of us.” Dig it? And NOW what is Miscavige doing? (among numerous other suppressive actions) DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH. Straight out of the communist playbook. NO Scientologist is allowed having more money than Davey has decided they need. All available cash and credit is to be given to “the group” (and no people on Earth have perverted that term more than Scientologists). The only Scientologists who are actually allowed to keep any money really are those that are worth hundreds of millions like Cruise, Travolta, etc. Even they have to give big though (witness Nancy Cartwright who herself is keeping Miscavige in gold up to his armpits).
Oh yeah, the line keeps going …. Marx …. Lennin … Stalin … Ron … .Miscavige … just take everyone’s money from them to the service of “the world” and “the masses” …. tell them what they have to think about every single thing in life ….. give up your family, especially your children and parents … “the group” is everything.
And, also by the way, I’m an Obama Democrat, a tried and true liberal who is opposed to your Tea Party yahoos, so this is not a right wing rant, just looking at what is RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and calling it like it is.

I say, they are all pikers. What they should be doing is building sub-orbital launch facilities at every Class V and Advanced Org on the planet. Screw parking lots, Ideal Orgs, and Auditoriums. When a new public enters the facility, they watch Orientation Film to get a proper spiritual wack over the head straight off by Der COB. They then route onto and complete that paragon of courses, the Personal Efficiency Course as personally checksheeted by Der COB. Screw personal ruins as originated by new public or as discovered in an OCA, Der COB knows better, and PEC is it. The interests and needs of the public are immaterial. Once PEC is completed, the new public is body routed straight to the launch pad and shot straight off to FLAG. No other org on the planet is sanctioned to deliver Quickie Grades as programmed by Der COB, so this is where the public needs to be. OK, maybe sub-orbital launch facilites are not really practical, but so what? Think of the endless regging opportunities? And the public can be endlessly reminded of the need and beneift of the SCN bridge as personally authored by Der COB. Once they complete the bridge at FLAG and the Ship, they can rocket back to their local orgs as newly minted OT VIIIs to be OT Ambassedors and to restart their bridge with endless Objectives. As ammends for their obvious failures as OT’s, they can personally body route the new public to the rocket ships for their shots to FLAG, and so, that beautiful spiritual symphoney that is SCN organization under Der COB can continue on and on.

As much as I look forward to the upcoming “Golden Age of Knowledge Reports”, this has to be the lamest attempt at begging for dollars I’ve ever seen. There wasnt even much creativity put in the latest status – “Pac Alumni”? This shows how truly desparate they are for money – reg people who have already been serviced and have moved on to higher orgs, or who have otherwise successfully escaped from the area. And not reg them for service or even materials, of course, not in this day and age of the out-exchange vulture culture. And to think that these non-refundable “pure” donations will go to something as stupid and useless as a “Pac Events Center”. In the golden age of Miscavige stupidity, appearances are everything and more important than having something practical like a parking lot, where the few remaining people still trying to do the bridge in Pac will have a place to park. I can tell you without even looking at blueprints that this “event center” will be optimized for crush regging people. They will build the building in such a way that there will be no easy way to exit and thus avoid the gauntlet of desparate reges (and beggars) who will have their cap in hand after every event begging / pleading / demanding money for the latest release (repackaged goods) and the latest (and dumbest) “honor status” to be shoved down the throats of the sheeple.
Don’t be too surprised to see in the future some sort of “Pac Alumni Humanitarian Platinum Meritorius” status where a public can donate $250,000 to get out of the obligation of having to go to these dumb events in the first place; such donations will relieve the pubic from a mandatory visit to the ethics officer for any missed event attendance. In other words, extort your public for all their worth!

How about they just offer people a steak dinner to attend a Dianetics seminar? They could probably get a lot of people to come that way. Let’s say they got 100 people at $30 a head for the cost of their free meal and the rental of the room. Say the room costs $500 for the night. That would cost the cult about $3500 a seminar. Just have the public fund that!! Let’s say they regged the public for a million dollars for this project and did these seminars once a month. They could do it for 285 months or 23 plus years for one million dollars. This would be them buying people a good meal just to show up and hear about Dianetics or Scientology. I am sure they would get better stats then what they are doing with this madness.

This is indeed, more and more pathetic. The various posts over the last week or so, have left me with a clear view, of the continuous and complex determination to harm or destroy. Miscavige is relentless, in his efforts to unmock and twist and complicate, the works that LRH left us. Thousands of hours picking over already workable information…..very, very complicated. As a seasoned case cracker, I see underneath a huge pile of continuous overs, a failed student. He doesn’t KNOW anything. Without stat pushing, with FULL study tech applied and with FULL care of the individual, I truly believe, that almost everyone, could have learned to audit.
Looking at the PL Group Sanity, Org Series 19, all the examples of 3D psychosis are here; 1. “A refusal to employ people. Exclusion of others is the basic cause of war and insanity.” I feel the copious golden rod and enforced disconnection fit as exclusion. 2. “Covert refusal to train”. 3. “Denial of adequate experience to succeed.” Auditors trained on LRH’s watch, FEBC’s gone, Inexperienced teenagers hired. 4. “Failure to utilize people.” A huge percentage of SO staff are working in hotels, kitchens, construction or ridiculous, superfluous events. NOT in the religious pursuit of spiritual freedom. 5. “To prevent production.” (auditing and auditors), 6. “Unreal or non-factual promotion.” Massive evidence of this ongoing. 7. “The impeding of product distribution to potential consumers.” The products of well audited people and well trained auditors is SO obviously missing. (See 8 on the PL) 9. “Perversion of finance.” (Oi vey!!!!!!) 10. “The substitute of violence for reason.” 11. ‘A refusal to allow others to be, do or have.” Miscavige lives in luxury while most staff and public suffer. 12. “Detestation of high morale.”
I rest my case, the RCS is insane.

Guess we shouldn’t be surprised – Miscavige needs some new cash cows and fast. Let’s see, he has L Ron Hubbard hall for Flag/CW. OK, how far can this event hall scam be taken. Well, for sure PAC as we see. (As an aside re: PAC Parking, they have been holding the Summer of Events event in a tent in the PAC Parking lot for years already, and also many of the Int Events showings (IAS, etc) when the event is not live in PAC and they somehow have the parking under some sort of handling consisting of people parking in lots nearish to the Base and running shuttles to shuttle them from the lots being used to the Base.) I would think they would for sure now extend the buy/build an event hall scam to at least DK since AOSHEU is there, maybe to Sydney, too. A shame St Hill has the Great Hall already, but maybe that could be pronounced as too small so they could build one there, too, or say an event hall is needed in London. The next level down would be Mexico City/Toronto/Joburg and probably Moscow.

It used to puzzle me why there was all this supposed effort to get people to get on service at Pac Base, and yet the parking kept getting eliminated. First no parking allowed on the fancy brick street. Then parking in the lot eliminated on a regular basis for event tents. Now it is to be permanently eliminated for this “Events Center”????
Really, the only possible conclusion is that “Public on and up the Bridge at Pac” is NOT a desirable product as far as “Management” is concerned. If the public somehow manage to find a place to park and get into one of the service orgs, they just get blown out again by staff who make it clear that the public is just a bunch of out-ethics scum bags who don’t do what they are told and who aren’t welcome there, except to turn over all of their money.

Actually, this may be part of the plan. Back in the early ’80’s it was hard to find a parking space at the complex and the parking garage on Fountain was usually full too. People had to look for parking on the street. After Ron passed away and Miscavige took over there were more and more empty spaces. It became embarrassingly obvious that church attendance was down. Interestingly, each successive “renovation” at the Complex has removed more and more parking spaces by putting in light poles, building dividers, planters, cordoning off areas, etc. But with each “reno”, the parking spaces left gradually would wind up being empty as even fewer people come in to the orgs. From the looks of the picture, if this building is completed, they will lose more than half of what parking still remains! It is obvious that these buildings are not being built for the purpose of expanding the use of subject of Scientology into the world.

Introducing Dianetic auditing and Scientology to individuals requires human beings, people, face-to-face, talking, responding, interacting. The Maniac Midgets ‘brilliant’ re-design of div 6 resulted in the subject being introduced to potential participants via a video- in Ideal Orgs, a visitor may sit down and watch an introductory Scientology video, which will compel the viewer to enroll in a Scientology course. Preposterous! And pathetic! No quantity of people are going to be engaged into getting with the tech to get some personal help by watching Davey’s videos. A pea-brained, pitiful idea of the 5′ 4″ mini-man maniac miscavidge.
The destruction of the Missions’ frontline presentation of the subject to the public-at-large categorically ended the growth of membership in CoS. The model created by the Maniac Midget did fail/is failing/will always fail to bring in new members in sufficient numbers to grow. We should have seen this: the ability to grow just isn’t in him.

“the ability to grow just isn’t in him.”…..now that is funny!
He should get over the size thing or just go out and buy a big ol Ford pickup to run around in like the rest of us do when we want to compensate. Although in Davy’s case he would have to have a childs booster seat to see over the steering wheel.

K, The size thing is more than compensated for, by the length of his nasal appendage!

Thanks for another dessert spoonful of insanity Mike! Served by 180 Degree Dave, Himself! ( No less.)

For $5,000 I want at least a 3D fly-through of the 30 parking spots indicated in that picture.
Didn’t I see a for lease sign on the HTC building recently? They reno’ed it straight into oblivion!
Joe Pendleton says
For 5 G’s, I want a “luxury box” like at ballparks, with fajitas served during events, maybe a recliner too.
PalladiumSurfer says
Joe, that sounds like a fair exchange proposition. Totally outrageous.

I know Val Page really well and I can tell you with 100% certainty, she did not write that letter. Val is awesome and I hopes she wakes up soon and reunites with Homer.
When I was Fundraising for Super Power, it was amazing how we would have this huge target to make for LRH’s Birthday and we would make it and the next week we would get a similar target. Every week the amount of money that was donated to Super Power was huge. I realized after about a year that an immense amount of money was being regged but the Super Power Building was already completed on the exterior. I even went to Flag in 2002 and had a tour of the building. It did not make sense that we kept regging for Cornerstones at $35,000 each yet we had to have already gotten in over 200 million dollars. My guess is that this Auditorium is going to be the next reason to have continual regging of what is left of the Public. My opinion, the amount that is donated will greatly surpass the amount needed for this auditorium.
By the way, I NEVER saw an accounting of where the Super Power donations went for. There was never a year end budget nor any kind of expense projections released to us. Most churches hand these out at the end of the year or give them to their public to encourage them to donate. In two years of Funrdaising for Super Power, I never had one person ask me about any accounting of the money. I always had people that wanted to know when Super Power would be released.
Mike Rinder says
Cindy — providing Luis Garcia overcomes the initial roadblocks the church has tried to derail his lawsuit with, the details about where the money has gone for Super Power and IAS will become public in the course of that litigation. It is no wonder the church is doing everything they possibly can to avoid that happening….

I understand the Luis Garcia Building in Clearwater is to open October 6Th?

When the PAC Main Building pancakes all the way down to ground zero in the next earthquake, it will be replaced with a parking structure for the Delusional Manchild’s Nuremberg Rallies. With the main building gone, any remaining staff can then sleep on top of the parking structure in sleeping bags. Dave doesn’t seem to realize that HE and the koolaid crowd may not be around much longer.
Hallie Jane says
LOL!!
Jane Doe says
I was wondering if the reason for building an auditorium in the PAC LA Org parking lot is to make it smaller since so few are attending the Shrine nowadays? So in a smaller facility, the few people look like many because of “standing room only…” And who cares if the parking area is taken over if there are no cars that want to park there anyway? Time was in the early 80’s and before, when you had to come to course early to even get parking because it was so crowded. Now it is a morgue. Now where have I heard that expression before?
Michael Finley says
UNBELIEVABLE! Well, it is Dwarf Vader’s mindset after all!
Hiram says
Oh Boy. The facility was put there by PAC public funds so its “only appropriate” that they be the first to contribute an extra 5K. Where is the logic. Its nuts. She is in charge of uniforms and its apparent that someone took her mind to the cleaners. And she lost her dad. I remember them both from ages ago. She was a teenager, bright and cheery. This is a good example of wasted lives and broken families. I cannot imagine this plea getting 5cents, let along 5K. Wake up Val. Snap out of it. So sad.
Sinar says
Thought it could not get lower but was wrong again. It’s another vital status to have in order to make a Regging hall so all the Regges can fly in circles vulture culture style and doors barred until contributions are given. These guys must have some kind of “think tank” coming up with status – Alumni? The term actually implies that one has been there, learned from it and now has moved on to better things. I guess I’m an alumni without paying Val.
Known Val for years, when she was in CMO external comm – but have not seen this begging side of her!
