Consistent with our theme over the past couple of days, here is a video from the Executive Director of Buffalo Org about how their “BUDGET IS APPROVED” for their Non-Existence Campaign — all they need is the money (which is where you come in!).
One thing consistent with all these pleas for money: THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO SHAME. They will announce to the world the most embarrassing things in order to try and get money. How amazingly embarrassing is it to be the first “Ideal Org”, now with two Grand Openings, and to be telling your public “we don’t have any money to get out of NonE”?
I don’t know this woman, though she appears to be a random OT VIII who is wasting her Spanish speaking skills in one of the lowest percentage Spanish speaking cities in the US.

I worked with Blanca Brouzet at David Singer Enterprises. She was the Director over Div3. She is a lifer.
Give her credit. She said it with a straight face.
Now hold on just a minute.
When someone says that their “budget has been approved” by their organization, doesn’t that infer rather strongly that the ORGANIZATION in question will be ALLOCATING the funds requested in that budget proposal? That’s how I have always understood that it worked. Otherwise, what would it mean to “approve a budget” ?
As is so often the case, this is propaganda by redefinition of terms.
What it means is that Miscavige’s Minions ™ have put together a grand plan (of the same order of magnitude as the renovations planning — over the top insanity) and have gotten this “approved by COB.” The Buffalo ED is then told: “Fabulous news. COB had personally worked out what your org needs — an amazing Non E program. The exact planning and budget for this is now approved. Send the money, all of it, and you can start.”
It’s so sad. As a former staff member, I remember thinking “why are all the other orgs doing so well and ours is not”?We had a lot of hard working, willing staff members putting in the time,hrs and making good products but no expansion. Marc’s comment really hit home as I thought the orgs he mentioned WERE big and expanding. It’s amazing how blind one can be.
When I designed the AV systems for Buffalo back in 2004 we were on the phone to Buffalo to ensure they were being properly installed. One of the projector screens was damaged during the first month the org was open as a heating duct had melted a screen when it had been rolled up into the ceiling.
When the replacement screen was being installed a few months later we wanted to make sure the new screen did not get burned up. The Gold Rep told us that the duct had been moved but it would not be a problem no matter what as the org had not paid the heating bill for a month or so! Most of the Reges were sitting in their cars with the heat on to make phone calls. It was too cold inside the org to function!
This was after listening to Dave tell us about how his “new” orgs would be awesome. I remember it very well. I slaved away on all these things that were essential to planetary expansion according to Dave. The new Briefing Course was going to blow the lid off Scientology expansion. And KTL & LOC. Let’s not forget the new L’s HGCs, Sandcastle, Dianetics How-To, VHS PSA, Cassette PSA’s, DVD’s, CD’s, VM Tents,
Renovating the FH the 7th time, the Super Power building, Universe Corps, Div 6’s, Tech Film, Public Films, Tv’s, Look-Listen in, new Mark VII, New Mark V, new Quantum, new cans, new books, TV Ads, Radio Ads, IAS videos, the New LA org, AO, ASHO, New LA Org Test Center, the more new LA Org, Renovated LA Org Test Center, blah blah blah.
In October 2004, I had a chance to see one of these “new” orgs for myself with all of the “fruits of expansion” of my many years slaving. I went to San Fransisco and had to check out one of the Tech film rooms. I had been in tech film rooms all over the world since the early 1990’s. The single biggest problem with working on a Tech Film room during the day was squeezing in for a few minutes and not disrupting the students that were lined up to watch films. In most orgs, we would just come in during the night as we’d have plenty of time while the org was closed.
When I walked into the San Fransisco – easily the emptiest org I had ever seen, in the middle of the day, there was a single person in the course room and he was not about to watch any films! He was a div 6 student but there was no Div 6 super so he just studied in the Div 4 course room because they at least had a super but no students! The few staff that were there assured me that I could take my time in the film room as they had not been showing any films anyway!
Stevens Creek and Los Gatos were also practically empty as well. These were all just months after they had their “Grand Openings”. After Spain, Stevens Creek, Los Gatos, San Fran, Buffalo, New York, & Joburg it was clear the party was over.
I left in January 2005 after 15 years working at the Int Base. Best thing I ever did!
Any lurkers reading this should know – your life will get much better as soon as you stop betting everything you have on the horse that loses year after year. A couple of billion dollars has not helped

P.S. Dave Miscavige’s primary objective for the AV systems were that not one single “staff” person talk to a new public! Machines will do the work! Dave is building his own personal SkyNet one org at a time!

Know one with an ounce of integrity would so flagrantly violate every LRH policy they could without knowing what they are doing let alone an OT8. The Budgets approved all we need is the money? Non E campaign? Peddling with kids?
So many good, caring people on staff in Class V orgs being duped and continually losing. This bothers me more than anything else.
She DOES say “idle” org many times. Anyone suspect drugs? Even air borne types pumped into the orgs during events maybe. Mind control? Likely. No “able” person is going to come into any of these orgs after doing a little research on the zombie like nightmare Scientology has become.
This budget getting approved could very well be a big win for them, as least based on how difficult it is to get weird Dave to approve things sent to him.
I like the way Blanca says “ideal org”. With her accent it sounds like she is saying “idle org”.
I can’t decide if I should laugh, cry or throw up.
You can bet this woman is treated like a dog – like a sea org member, except she has to pay for her sec checks, FPRD and other “handlings”.
She is probably bypassed on a constant and continual basis and has no control over her org, yet she will be made wrong for all the ensuing disasters.
All I can say is what we all know already, it’s completely insane.
If she has any sanity remaining she should just leave and never go back.
Any remaining staff should do the same.

Oh dear Lord, this is just so sad and desperate. And sooooo out-pointy. I wouldn’t bet against this video being some ‘bright idea’ dreamt up by some poor sap there in order to get the accompanying stiff quotas met that came with this ‘special’ delivery from management. I do feel for her.
Somehow I sense this will not be the only ‘Ideal Org’ tasked with flogging their very own Special Properties (as they’ve been referred to in the past – it’s not the first time this little number’s been pulled) in order to raise some much needed revenue.
So glad to be away from all that insanity. Let’s hope it at least wakes a few more up.
This is very sad. I went to Buffallo on an AOLA event tour, right after the first grand opening. The situation there was very grim then. The whole EC was manned with Sea Org members from FLO who replaced the prior EC, they were nice people but really didn’t know how to run an org. The old CO CLO EUS was selling Dianetics books at the mall. Which was pretty surreal for me, I met him in NYC a few months before calling him “Sir” literally kissing his behind, and now he had been reduced to the lowest point of an org board. I recall it being a nice building, but everything was empty. No auditing that I can remember(except a couple of assists) but lots of rooms, and the Academy had 1-3 people, sometimes 0 people. The ED told us this Org has everything except “people”. The only sounds I could here were event videos from the constantly playing from the TV screens. Our event was terrible in attendance, I think only about 10-15 people showed up, the Org staff was very excited as I do think they made some GI, and recovered a couple people that night which was better than the 0 they were reporting. I was utterly disappointed since I spent a whole week before on the phone calling the 200 or so on the addo list, trying to get people to come to the event, going to houses, trying to get others to get confirms, etc. I could go on, but that was over 9 years ago. So what really surprises me, is that the org is still open. For that Org to continue to survive for that long is very impressive. Either, they had a period of prosperity in there somewhere and it fell off, or the staff are just masochists and enjoy working in nice, cold buildings, with no pay. I am sure they do get some money from all the old freeloader debts from ex-staff.
That chick looks like the loneliest woman in the world. It sounds like she has some Chinese or Asian accent going underneath or on top of the Spanish or Latin accent there, too. The only commemorative things I want are VWD auditing hours. A book is a book.
Why Non-E? Just a rough guess, isn’t their condition more at Emergency? That’s applicable when stats are declining or unchanged. I mean, for Non-Existence, if they don’t kno what to do or produce, if they haven’t found a comm line yet ….there’s something more serious than Non-E.
I’m not an alphabet soup FEBC, OEC, etc. but I look at the simple Non-E specifications and conclude that the whole place should change its operating basis, its promo basis, a lot of things. That’s not Non-E, but Danger. They should have someone there who know what’s wanted:
What people want is the truth / stop lying
What people want is case gain / stop squirreling
There are a lot of things there that could be done there.
They have a comm line – sheesh – thing is, what is ON the comm line?
So you look at Non-E and it leads you to the Danger Condition.
And what they’re doing is promoting, which is Emergency.
Am I all screwed up so hopelessly I need an IV (with vitamins and nutrients and maybe an oxygen tent) or is it them?
How does a dying org move out of Danger when the person it may well need to bypass is the leader of the church? How does it move on up out of Emergency without the freedom and independence to change its operating basis? How can an org realistically apply ethics to itself when “command intention” demands unquestioning compliance?
Blanca came to Buffalo in around ’06 as Quentin was rounding up a group of WISE guys to come give their time and help for free to build Buffalo as it was a hill10 or hill 10,000 I should say. She was one of a few WISE wives doing the Bridge full time who were charmed by him to go to Buffalo and work with him to create a model WISE program – I guess we’re still waiting.
As far as the video’s subject matter. . . how can she use LRH’s name in a video for a squirrel group that has apparently used the green vols as door stoppers and fire wood. Unbelievable, just so in your face unbelievable. I can’t understand how those dear friends of mine who I spent decades with to build our org could possibly justify this kind of thing. I don’t think it’ll be much longer, Gayle. Just look at how down-scale the orgs are now, and try to imagine the next rung down the ladder. As ludicrous as their behavior and ‘solutions’ are now, they’re actually going to get worse, and very soon, as their true condition sinks further.
They haven’t stopped the hemorrhaging of existing public, and new public are as rare as hen’s teeth. Their only real source for new bodies in the shop, are the children of Scientologists, many of whom are swept into the S.O. as soon as possible. That leaves an ever-dwindling number of true believers to foot the bills, and those few are becoming tapped out from years and years of giving. It’s a contracting situation that has a breaking point. Looking at how empty DM’s drywall palaces are, I can’t help but believe that breaking point is coming soon.

It seems that the begging form money and asking for donations that the church has done successfully for years has become a SOP, standard operating procedure for the members of the flock. Just in the last two month I have read at least 4 please for help in the form of donations from public Scns on the Razzline and other places, asking for money to pay medical bills for cancer and other afflictions. These people never had insurance because all their money went to Idea Orgs, IAS, Bridge, Planetary Dissem, and other “good causes” to the point where now they cannot pay for their health bills. Yet the “wogs” that the church almost spits the term out with the upcurl of the lip in disgust…. these wogs CAN pay their mortgages, their health bills and don’t have to beg for money from people. So maybe these “mere wogs” are actually able people. Just sayin’
As you know, I’m a bit of a numbers geek. So when I hear words thrown around like “budget approved,” I just can’t help but ask, “OK, show me your numbers.” Just how much money to disseminate to the greater Buffalo community will the RCS be spending? Oh, wait! They have to raise the money to go in the budget. So they won’t be spending anything for quite a while. Really, it doesn’t matter what the budget says; approving a budget with no money behind it is like a teenage boy “approving” himself to go on a date with Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model Kate Upton… you can approve all you want but until there’s some reality behind it, all that happens is that you get laughed at.
Oh, and let’s suppose they raise $25,000 for this major campaign to bring the news to Buffalo as it digs out from the long winters. What percentage of a campaign like this is immediately sent “uplines” (i.e., to the David Miscavige treasure vault)? 75%? 80%? More? Less? How much do they really expect to achieve with the few thousand dollars left over after the vampire at the top of the heap sucks their veins dry? It would be laughable if it weren’t so sad.

Pounding the same dwindling supply of loyal donors for money over and over seems to be the only solution these days. What an unusual solution that is. The concept of raising money by selling Scientology services and getting people “Winning” whether they are Staff, Students or PC’s seems to have dropped out completely.
Nail on the head, TP. You’d think that church management, from the lowliest Class V org department head to DM himself, would be freaking out about the lack of new public. It’s the gigantic elephant in the room that spells doom for the organization.
Solution? Avert your eyes and concentrate on sucking every last nickel out of your existing public, then get on your knees and pray to The Big Thetan In The Sky that a miracle happens.

I know Blanca, although it’s been years since I spoke with her. I remember her as one of the nicest and caring people I’d had the pleasure to know. She was also very sane. Tom – So true. The sad part is she actually has good intentions. She is just following the wrong PT orders. I did not perceive this is a bad person, but a person whose good intentions have been mislead. If she was ever allowed to receive a real evaluation, a correct org program and allowed to make auditors and get PC’s up the bridge – she would be a great asset. The only question is what is the comm lag she has until she connects up with the Indies – or worse yet, doesn’t achieve escape velocity and gets swallowed into the black vortex of anti matter.
