It seems the Nuremberg Rally style events have run their course in LA -- the largest population of scientologists on earth. On Sep 21, 2014, at 6:46 PM, Tashania Faust <[email protected]> wrote: Ideally, every Scientologist attends the 7-10 major events presented by Int Management yearly. The challenge of the Event Dept is ensuring they are conveniently located and scheduled. Please help us achieve this and CLICK HERE TO FILL IN SURVEY Please be open in answering the questions. Auditor’s Day — Signs Of The End
You know how unimportant this event is to Miscavige when: a. He is not in it b. It is not promoted as "the greatest event EVER" and "you do not want to miss this" and "everyone MUST be there to hear earth-shaking breakthrough in planetary clearing" c. There is no airbrushed image of a spaceship or explosion or world stamped with a scientology logo d. The promo only contains 4 single exclamation points Yet, if you were to read the quote, and many others like it, you could be forgiven for thinking that this should be the most important celebration in scientology -- perhaps after … [Read more...]
The Miscavige IAS Scam Rolls On
The latest edition of Impact magazine has been mailed out. It is a recounting of the magnificent IAS evening aboard the Freewinds. Of course, it highlights "Mr. David Miscavige" though these days they don't bother with identifying him in the 7 full page photoshopped pix featuring his new thin look. The weight of the world seems to be resting upon his shoulders and it is showing. This was a veritable shermanspeak orgy, and while I am not going to recount everything here, I am including his opening and closing statements for your reading pleasure (amazement?). If you cannot read these, … [Read more...]
The Flag World Tour Is Cominng(sic)
This probably should have been saved for the Thursday Funnies as it is so ridiculous. But then again, most promotional items that emanate from corporate scientology qualify for the "funny pages." The latest gimmick in their desperation to even get people to tell them they are coming: confirm your attendance, you will receive a free bookmark! Hurry, get in before the RUSH, while supplies last. And the "pitch" is really convincing "to make email confirmation more popular and convenient for you" -- ha. Anyone that believes this is for the benefit of the target sheeple deserves to go to t … [Read more...]
The Most Ethical Group On Earth
Some of you may have noticed this item in the Sunday Funnies at the Underground Bunker. I found it a bit disturbing, but not for the usual Valley money grubbing reasons. This is the poster promoting the event: James Barbour hasn't been seen for many years. Back in the mid 2000's, he was one of the "A-list" musicians who was invited to perform on the Freewinds for MV. But then he got himself into trouble. Big time. Here is a summary from his Wikipedia page. In April 2006, Barbour was arrested and charged with having inappropriate relations with … [Read more...]
There Will Be No Recruitment, Regging or Fundraising. Promise.
Here is an indicator of the desperation to convince people to dip their bloody toe in the shark tank. Sort of on the otder of: "It's OK, they are vegetarian sharks..." It must be becoming incredibly difficult to get people to show up for events. A few by now have probably even answer somewhat honestly to the after event surveys and the word is making it back to "international management" (David Miscavige) that people don't enjoy being endlessly regged and recruited at every event. Thus, they are trying this new approach to get people to come in for any reason. They cannot promote no … [Read more...]
Another Seminar Designed For Miscavige
This one is another perfect seminar designed for Dear Leader. And it's not just any old seminar, it's good old Arte Maren of Guardian's Office infamy and he is delivering it at the "Community Learning Center"? I really dont think the community needs a center to train people on how to take someone's money under the guise of helping them succeed. I note there is another upcoming special Miscavige seminar too -- the Do's And Don'ts Of Social Media. I wonder is that includes tips about keeping your convicted child sex offender felons off your facebook pages? From: Holly Haggerty & … [Read more...]
Step Right Up!
They're pitching fiction books at Maiden Voyage. What is the theory behind this? The "church" celebrating the "25th Anniversary" of the Freewinds is pitching merchandise that has NOTHING to do with scientology. It makes three things clear: 1. They will ask for money for ANYTHING. Next year one of the MV 30th anniversary events (close enough) is going to be Dan Sherman doing a presentation on LRH gold panning days and there will be an "authentic replica" gold-diggers kit that everyone will be expected to buy to show how on source they are. 2. There is NO distinction made between … [Read more...]
A Selection Of Idiocy From The Bubble
With the hype machine now churning out emails by the minute promoting the wonders of the "MV Events" there are some interesting notes in a random selection of emails that arrived over the last few days. CC kicks things off with Dave Petit pretty much running a standard "party line" though I wonder if he feels especially stupid repeating the lie that this is the 25th Anniversary of the Maiden Voyage that occurred in 1988? So typical of scientology these days -- Dear Leader canceled MV last year as he wasn't ready with GAG II and when he cancels something it is canceled with authority. June … [Read more...]
First Ideal City
The rah-rah is reaching nutball levels in PAC -- promoting completing Valley org will make them the first "Ideal City"? How do they figure these things out? There are lot of cities that only have one org and it is "ideal" so arent they "ideal cities"? Or do they require more than one org (of course they do -- even 5 orgs in LA is not even scratching the surface). But you will hear the sheeple in London talking about how their ideal org is "going to Clear London" and the same in Melbourne and Joburg and everywhere else. They have long since considered themselves an "ideal city." Ah well, … [Read more...]
