Here is a new video from Tampa Org (with 58 likes and 3 comments). They promote themselves as both "Ideal" AND "SH Size" -- in fact they promote themselves as the FIRST ideal and FIRST SH size org. They even start out with the humble assertion "What does every other Org want to be?" Well, let's take a look at what every org on earth aspires to. Because Tampa has given us a wonderful glimpse of just how much they actually accomplish. They kindly provided statistics for the last decade as significant accomplishments that everyone else should be jealous of. It is a good measure of the … [Read more...]
Scientology and Christmas
It seems the media is becoming more aware of the truth about scientology. This recent article in the Kansas City Star is not the sort of "goodwill" and "PR area control" scientology was hoping to garner from opening their new "ideal org" and launching into a PR offensive for the holiday season. The title of the article alone is enough to send shivers down COB's spine: Kansas City’s Church of Scientology opens a Winter Wonderland: Is this some ploy? Ploy you ask? Ploy? You can read the full article at the link above. I have a few thoughts about it. Following the evocative h … [Read more...]
What Are Ideal Orgs Up To?
The fabulous "ideal" orgs that have been opened are "proof" (at least in the mind of scientologists) that things are peachy-keen in the shrinking world of scientology. But reality is starkly different. Old Ron would be turning in his grave like the cartoon Tasmanian Devil I used to see on the Looney Tunes as a kid if he saw what was ACTUALLY going on in these orgs. Here is the latest news from Inglewood: Mocktails? Artisinal cupcakes? Paint-n-Savor? Free hair product samples? And who the hell is "Stuff'T"? And for only $25? Here is what Hubbard wrote in one of his last … [Read more...]
“New” Ideal Orgs
The Kansas City and Columbus "ideal orgs" are supposed to open over the next 2 weekends. This is no surprise -- Miscavige probably stayed in the UK and is flying directly to Kansas City for the opening, which is why it is one week after the IAS. It is also timed so he could get a double whammy -announce it at the IAS and then show the ribbon yanking as main topics To prove massive international expansion at the New Years Event. He could not have an entire year with NO "ideal orgs." Back in the good old days he had them at each event throughout the year. Remember the hullabaloo about … [Read more...]
Islands of Sanity — In a Sea of Wogs
David Miscavige is fond of talking about how his "Ideal Org" program is creating "islands of sanity"... It is prominent in his official hagiography at scientology.org The idea that "OT's" are the ones "changing the planet" and creating "ideal orgs" is a "truth" scientology. It was one of Miscavige's strokes of genius to make the "OT's" responsible for creating ideal orgs. That way, they could not complain that they were not able to do OT IX and X, because Miscavige set an arbitrary that all orgs had to be "ideal" before this could happen (it actually began with all orgs St Hill Size, … [Read more...]
Grooming the “Next Generation” of “Org Execs”
This is how scientologists are groomed from an early age. Indoctrination into the Hubbard "study tech" which teaches you that if something he said doesn't make sense, it is simply because there is a word or symbol you have not understood. According to Valentina Smith, these are the "next generation of org execs". Valentina is one of the Admins on the "Scientology - Perth" Facebook group (where this was posted). As I recall, she is one of the lonely staff of the Perth "ideal org", though I may be mistaken. Scientology increasingly relies on second and third generations to be their "new … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Free Ice Cream Apparently George is George is a whale who supports this mission. He is like the Good Humor Man... Really not looking good... Bobby Wiggins is sadly not much of an advertisement for "OT VII Super Power Completion" This their plaque? They can't even get the first name right? Such a terrible lie And they put it out every year around this time. Seriously? Now that's an offer you can't refuse... Worst photoshop ever Looks like a cardboard cutout pasted onto the … [Read more...]
How Many Staff Does an “Ideal Org” need?
Here we have it, straight from the horses mouth - an ideal org is supposed to have 268 staff. Along with their usual foolishness, the Flag OT Committee announced that Chicago has "finished its fundraising" (right....) and that they can now concentrate on getting the staff they need. They have 29 staff now... Which is probably more than a lot of orgs. INCLUDING the ideal ones. Walk into Orlando or Salt Lake City or Malmo or Basel or Perth and see if you can find even 15 staff. I guarantee the MAJORITY of "ideal orgs" have less than 25 staff. The images they constantly … [Read more...]
California Not Done Sir
After enormous hype and hoopla, the big "Put a Bow On It" "California Done Sir" event is over. And in typical scientology style, there are a lot of claims of "we ARE doing it" but the fact is, they are NOT DONE still. All of California has "united" to get the "final" org in California to "ideal" and the demands for money are apparently never-ending. This is the announcement they sent out to let everyone know that it was a "huge success" -- even though it was NOT what was promised. They still didn't complete it and still haven't been able to say "Done Sir" though this was … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Fails
The scientology hype machine is rolling along, trying to keep the sheeple convinced that handing over money for "ideal orgs" is going to change the world. Austin is one of the few orgs NOT required to get a new building -- like Toronto. It is directly across the street from the University of Texas and has been for decades. Scientology-think leads them to believe that this is a ready-made audience. 40,000 bright, young, inquisitive "raw meat" literally RIGHT THERE. They never seem to mention that this org has been small and failing forever. That they cannot persuade anyone to come in … [Read more...]
