This article illustrates how insane and destructive this Miscavige ideal org plan is. Though it is essentially a real estate investment scheme, because of the arbitrary requirements Miscavige made part of his program, some absolutely catastrophic decisions have been made that have not only harmed the orgs concerned, but have also lost tens of millions of dollars. Following his recent org reduction and eradication ceremony in Paris, this recent news article from Melbourne illustrates another aspect of the crazy perfectly. Melbourne org owned a beautiful building in the city center — a … [Read more...]
The Insanity Inside the Scientology Bubble Grows
U Another demonstration of how utterly unreal Scientologists are. They are indoctrinated to think they are taking over the world, and they buy it -- yet in reality are having zero impact on anything. But it’s even worse than that. For some reason they insist on announcing their incompetence/ineffectiveness to the world at large. They are proud of the fact, or literally too stupid to understand what they are saying, that there are 54 nations in Africa and 1.2 billion people — but in 74 years they still only have orgs in 2 of those 54 nations and have only reached a few hundred thou … [Read more...]
What Happened to Scientology in Russia?
When I was writing the recent post posing the question about whether Miscavige would show up to yank his ribbon in Paris, I tried to verify whether he had gone to Moscow for their ideal org, and also the status of the St. Petersburg org. I was surprised to discover when you search for scientology orgs in Russia on scientology.org -- it draws a complete blank. It only shows missions in neighboring countries when you enter "find a church" and type in "Russia"... Google it and there is a press release from 2011 announcing the opening of the first ideal org in Russia, in … [Read more...]
Will Miscavige Dare Set Foot in France?
Alex Barnes-Ross revealed the scheduled opening for the delayed Paris Ideal Org as 6 April. The big question is whether Dear Leader Miscavige will be in attendance. My prediction is that he will not. He fears the French government and that they might seize the opportunity to arrest him. Remember what happened to Heber Jentzsch when he went to Spain and ended up in prison? Miscavige did not attend the Moscow ideal org opening either (though scientology tried to pretend he did by starting their story about the opening with a sleazily worded "Mr. Miscavige declared blah blah blah" implying … [Read more...]
Long Island Gets a Building
An article last week announced scientology's purchase of a property on Long Island. Long Island has been one of the long-term tiny, failed scientology orgs that has never amounted to anything. Suddenly, they are flush with $15.2 million…. This is a sign that Miscavige is finally breaking down on the ideal org program. It's been 20 years that his scam has been in place, and there are still plenty of orgs all over the world that have not even purchased a new building, let alone renovated it. There are also a dozen or so that purchased buildings years and years ago and are still not ev … [Read more...]
Going to Have to Sell a LOT of Cupcakes
This is not going to make the grade. It's almost sad to think these poor deluded people in one of the absolute forgotten, backwater scientology organizations are holding a bake sale to try to get an ideal org (and it's not even IN Aarhus, but at AOSHEU because there are only a handful of scientologists in Aarhus itself). It's like some kids with lemonade stand raising money to buy a house in Beverly Hills. After 20 years of the ideal org program, they're just now getting going on Aarhus... Cause over life? … [Read more...]
An Ideal Org Success Proving Failure
This is an ideal org "success" that actually speaks volumes about its failure. Denver was declared an "ideal org" in 2012. It has remained small and failing since -- making money to pay their bills by selling parking spaces to people attending Rockies games. So much for the 10.4X expansion that was touted as happening in all ideal orgs once they opened. The ONLY "completion" they have to announce is one that happened in Los Angeles at a completely different org. And even then -- they are so lacking any sort of good news that they devote a whole poster to someone completing … [Read more...]
It’s Official: Chicago Org Ribbon Yanking 3 March
Finally, it’s going apparently going to happen. Another monument to MEST orientation (that was a terrible thing in scientology back in the “good” old days) is going to be anointed by Dear Leader Miscavige as proof of the massive, unprecedented, straight up and vertical international expansion of scientology. Such a sham. They will fly, bus, train and drive their way to Chicago from all over the US. They will scrape up a few hundred people and some shanghai’d* staff from other areas. The big man will jet in, be cheered and applauded for some inane words from the teleprompter. Everyone will … [Read more...]
Carrot on a Stick — Literally
This is what the mighty ideal org in Melbourne is reduced to. Holding a farmer's market to try to get anyone to show up at their building so the regges have some prey to circle. One of our commenters quoted Hubbard concerning yesterday's post and it’s entirely applicable here: SOLVE IT WITH SCIENTOLOGY [Excerpt from HCO Policy Letter of 24 February 1964 Urgent-Org Programming) If the Org slumps: Don’t engage in “fund raising” or “selling postcards” or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology. It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions fo … [Read more...]
The Pitch: Give Us Your Money Because That’s What LRH Did…
This happy looking, uptone pitchman is Jon DeVries -- formerly an executive in CMO International is now an ideal org fundraiser in South Africa. He has come up with a novel raft of lies to try to gather $6 million for “the last two ideal orgs in S. Africa” (I guess they have abandoned the two orgs in Zimbabwe). Like every scientologist everywhere he has found an LRH quote that seems to justify handing over money. This is what Hubbard said that he quotes: "The giving of something is a very high goal. You have to be in good shape to give things. If you're in good shape you can. Wi … [Read more...]
