Everything is "GO" in Chicago. Not. They send out the weirdest messages... Last week they were telling everyone they had to go to LA for the New Year's event -- so they can cheer and wave banners when Miscavige, for the second year running, announces Chicago ideal org is "going to open." Now they are demanding everyone attend this briefing to hear someone "direct from Dominica." Is this like "Straight Outa Compton"? AND 2 "incredible speakers" who shall remain anonymous because they are just not known by anyone's at all. Then there are the "fly in prospects" because they don't … [Read more...]
Chicago Ideal Org: It’s Still Not Happening
Once again, it's supposedly happening! And what is it that is happening? You would be mistaken if you believed that this is announcement of the opening of the building that has been sitting ready and empty for nearly a year now. One of the 3 that were going to be opened "in the first quarter" of 2023. The poster leaves you with that impression. One from October did the same thing. The fact that they are offering dinner tells you everything you need to know. These are fundraiser, recruitment events. Probably more geared towards recruitment at this point as it's hard to raise … [Read more...]
The Scientology Way: Overpromise and Underdeliver
Hubbard wrote about the "Conditions of Exchange" and scientology uses this as their bible, operating at "Condition 1" -- "A group which takes in money but does not deliver anything in exchange. This is called rip-off. It is the exchange condition of robbers, tax men, governments and other criminal elements." This is today the hallmark of scientology. Taking money and delivering nothing. The latest promises concern the "National Church of Scientology for Australia." Canberra is a small city. Nobody ever goes there unless they have government business. Everything that happens in … [Read more...]
More Ideal Org Fail
This promotional item reminded me of something about the promise of the "ideal org" program... Miscavige heavily promoted that these orgs would generate new Missions, Narconons, WISE and Dianetics Groups, WTH chapters etc etc in their zones and that this would result in massive international expansion as those mission would then turn into orgs and the pattern would be repeated. He even had a graphic made to illustrate this, with a caption that reads: "The answer to planetary clearing is to make each one of our orgs a Central Organization, responsible for every sector … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Update
Valley Ideal Org -- The Biggest and The BestJust a little update on an "ideal" org we haven't heard about for some time, and something from one we hear a LOT about. This is a report from a native Russian-speaker (or perhaps she’s from a Russian satellite) who visited the "ideal org" in Port Elizabeth. Who knew this building was also done and sits empty? Diana reports there is a "Russian-language auditor" and a "soup" at Pt Elizabeth org -- why they need Russian speakers there is anyone's guess? According to her proud pronouncement, this "ideal" org has 5 auditors and 3 sups (soups?) i … [Read more...]
Salt Lake City Ideal Org is Dead — Just Like The Rest of Them
A couple of contributors took a trip to Salt Lake City and decided to swing by the ideal morgue there. Here is their report: It's a nice large building with reasonable landscaping. Compared to San Francisco, Portland, Sacramento, and Seattle, which all look empty, this one hides its emptiness nicely with solid brick walls. As far as location, in a town with monolithic Mormon temples of worship and large Lutheran cathedrals, this looks like a dental complex, or some non-religious building. But it does look good. There were a few cars in the lot during a prime time for s … [Read more...]
What Do Your Ideal Org Donations Buy?
The obvious answer of course is "empty buildings," but I found the background of this shot interesting. These days, buying statuses in the IAS and "Ideal Org Program" has become the new "thing" - status in scientology used to be measured by OT level gained and before that by auditor training level. There has always been a heavy emphasis on attaining perceived superiority since the first days of Dianetics. These days status in scientology is attained through money, not training and auditing. The goofiness of stuff that passes for status in scientology is sometimes hard to fathom -- the … [Read more...]
How Many Churches of Scientology in the World?
I originally did this post in 2019 and it cited the scientology newsroom website, so I went to check this site to ensure what was said was still accurate. Scientology is REALLY not keeping their webites current. This is the main page concerning the status of orgs -- and it talks about the fake expansion that occurred in the 10 years subsequent to 2004. In other words, this information is from 2014. Apparently there has been no growth since that time -- and the statement (this is exactly what it says:) Over 11,000 Scientology Churches, Mission and affiliated groups exist across 167 … [Read more...]
Another Ideal Org Fail
Another failed "ideal org" — this is one of the older ones. Bought in 2007, it is part of the “old guard” of ideal org buildings bought in a flurry of activity in the first years after Miscavige announced his boondoggle program. Battle Creek, New Haven, Philadelphia, Plymouth, Bulawayo, Harare and Capetown were all purchased and decades later sit unoccupied and falling to pieces. As I have pointed out many times before, if this “ideal org program” was really what Miscavige believed was the answer to expanding orgs and clearing the planet, he would just spend 50 million or whatever it would tak … [Read more...]
Disseminating Scientology is Simple Thanks to Captain Miscavige
It is amazing all the things Captain Miscavige has personally provided these powerful scientologists to enable them to "not only boom the org but truly achieve St Hill size." Obviously these otherwise awesome people are NOT using the brilliant tools Mr. Mickiewicz has toiled and labored so hard to bring them, as scientology orgs all over the world are shrinking rapidly. How long is it since Miscavige has announced a "St Hill Size org"? 20 years? The last one I recall was Joburg org -- that might have been 2004 or 2005... Yet, reaching St Hill Size is the target for all orgs -- not just … [Read more...]
