The shrinking world of scientology.... These days, about the only hope they have of getting new people to join staff or the Sea Org is if they are the children of scientologist parents. Rarely are the "successes" about staff from anyone else, unless it is an old person who says they’ve been on staff for 40 years and are still hoping to make it to Clear. We have had a number of people who were not scientologists recruited for "ideal orgs" with the promise of a job, pay and accommodations that have ended up being helped by the Aftermath Foundation. Typically they have not e … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard: Scientology Is Taking Over the World
This is another of those Hubbard statements that is accepted as fact because it makes those in the bubble feel good. He said this 50 or more years ago. They have never approached running anything at all, and today are even further away than they were when this statement was made. But the loyal sheeple repeat it as if it is true and is going to happen. Because everything Hubbard says is true. Sacramento, the seat of Government of the largest economic state in the nation, remains a small and failing org, despite the fact they got a new building a decade or so ago. They, like all the … [Read more...]
The Big Question
Tony posted this video on his blog on Wednesday: There are a couple of things I wanted to note about it. First, Lyle talks about becoming the HAS Chicago back in 1974. I went on Mission to Chicago in January 1976 based on an evaluation by Hubbard "EUS Ups and Downs" and extracted two people from the tiny org to be sent to Flag for executive training. Lyle was one of them. She says she was staff member #9 in Chicago (that tells you how small the place was in 1974 -- there were probably a dozen staff there when I arrived) and she was the second ED (as I recall, the ED was Dave … [Read more...]
Atlanta: 10X x 0 = 0X
You probably remember when the poster above was being used everywhere. Miscavige flew into Atlanta and yanked his ribbon there in July 2016. Nearly 5 years ago. According to Hubbard, within a few weeks it should have been St. Hill size and then continued to expand exponentially from there. They have had more than plenty of time to accomplish their "10X expansion across their zone." Of course, when you are a zero to begin with, 10X is still zero and that is what you see in Atlanta. In fact, all of Georgia. And Mississippi and South Carolina. Not even a mission anywhere in sight. … [Read more...]
Chicago has 2 Pallets of Dead PC Folders
Chicago is on the runway for a Miscavige Ribbon Yanking ceremony. Woohoo.... But of course, before then they have to get their mountains of backlogged filing in order. They've got something I have never heard of before. Pallets of "Deceased PC Folder switch out" to do? 2 pallets worth? That seems like a lot. Guess the aging population of scientologists in Chicago are shuffling off their mortal coils with some regularity. But what is a "switch out" in this context? I have no idea? Are they making new folders for the dead people? Why? Once again, this highlights the unworkability of … [Read more...]
You Can “Be It All”
You can almost smell the desperation in this new promotional piece. The "ideal" org in Auckland is clearly in need of staff. They have a handful and are making no progress towards achieving St Hill Size (and thus the "Make-Break point" where they actually become viable). Their newest pitch is pretty pathetic. This is the video they are wanting everyone to watch... It's very short. And very, very amateurish. Certainly not a SuMP production. Their sales gimmick is that you don't really have to give up anything to be a staff member. You can do all these others things … [Read more...]
Perth Ideal Org Fail
We have a few items that have come in from Perth ideal org. The first is the announcement that they are "celebrating" 3 years of being "ideal." I wonder what there is to celebrate? They have made 0 progress in clearing their neighborhood, let alone city or state. And remember, this was the org that claimed they were going to be responsible for Clearing Indonesia too --as there is no org at all there. Don't hear much about that these days. And then the next piece is very telling. Remember how Hubbard announced that "Going St Hill Size" was something that could be done in a matter of … [Read more...]
Damning With Faint Praise (And Another Podcast)
This is the best Valley ideal org OTC has got apparently: These two "success stories" are bound to inspire many other older, glasses-wearing "OT's" to join the powerhouses at the Valley ideal org. All those thetans working together to accomplish, er, well, to accomplish buying a building for Albuquerque... or something. They seem to be a little short on specifics of what they actually do. But these women are doing it with gusto, whatever it is. Or at least with a tone of warmish enthusiasm. The Valley Ideal Org really does suck. Here it is in daylight. Nothing but empty p … [Read more...]
Scientology Targeting Black America
They badly need a spellchecker. Which is pretty ironic given the first thing on the list of items they are going to be providing to "raise your ability" is "Study Tech." And this is supposedly an “inspriational weeked of education...” Secondly, they scraped together just 8 black people in Harlem for their photo -- this might be the entire roster of staff and public in this empty org. I doubt they could round up this many people of color in the Inglewood org at all. Scientology is as insincere as politicians seeking votes from "the Black community" -- what they want isn't votes, … [Read more...]
“Ideal Org” (In)Activity
We always say these so-called "ideal orgs" are merely empty buildings masquerading as viable scientology organizations. Perth keeps putting out "briefings" that prove this in their own words. Just think, Hubbard said the MIMINUM to be "viable" and "above the make-break point" was for an org to achieve the size of Old St Hill. Not a single Class V org has stably achieved that status. Just as an idea of what this means, it requires at least 100 auditors in training in the Academy and 1000 auditing hours a week. This would translate, conservatively, into 25 … [Read more...]
