This is the best they can do? A pixilated image of something they claim is Idaho, above some printing offering a scholarship to ASHO? And this is for "our Mission Expansion." According to FB, Jacqui lives in Sherman Oaks? I wonder if Idaho ranks so highly in the Desirable States stakes because there is one of the Scientology clear states? Meaning there is no Scientology outpost after 70 years of “unprecedented expansion”? There are plenty of other states on that list with no orgs, some may have tiny missions open a couple of hours a week: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Ind … [Read more...]
RiverPark Mission is on Fire
Tony sold 44 raw books last week - HIMSELF ! Our Boss at Scientology Missions International had this made and sent to him. Quite fitting since Tony is Chinese/Taiwanese and it IS the year of the TIGER. Tony has been my staff member at the Riverpark Mission for 25 years. He is so pan-determined and so tireless and so dedicated to helping LRH Clear Earth. He deserves the utmost in admiration. I am so proud of him. The more books we avalanche out into the community the more we will turn the tide and win the day .. the day of sanity and freedom envisioned by LRH for all mankind. We would … [Read more...]
More Mission Fail
The evidence of the sorry state of the once flourishing scientology mission network keeps rolling in. This is not speculation -- it is stuff they are sending out that announce just what a pathetic show it is. This latest is from the Sunland Mission. In the center of the largest concentration of scientologists on earth. Here is a very recent email. My notes are in red. Hi Friends, I would like to share the recent wins we have had with Sunland Mission! Maybe you have already seen a recent one that we are very proud of. It is a 6’ by 12’ (it's YUUUUGE) Dianetics bil … [Read more...]
The Failed Scientology Mission Network
This is the latest list of the best missions in the world. There is not a single Mission on the list from Russia. It was formerly the stronghold of Missions for scientology. The largest representation is 7 in Taiwan. It appears to be the only place on earth where scientology might be expanding. The US is badly under-represented with only 4 of the top 25 Missions in the world. The rest of the English speaking world has 0. Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, S. Africa... Just for fun I did some quick searches on the top US Mission -- Boulder County -- to see what the BEST the USA has to offer … [Read more...]
A Mission Microcosm
The real state of scientology Missions. This is a mission in the hotbed of scientology -- Los Angeles. This is where scientology has traditionally been strongest and has done the most recruiting. This Mission is surrounded by scientologists, outside of Clearwater, you will not find more scientologists living within a 20 mile radius of this mission. Yet, they have an ex-SO member as their "OES" (in direct violation of Hubbard policy about the hiring of ex-SO) -- and she is the Supervisor. Apparently there is nobody actually posted in the Tech Division who can even be a … [Read more...]
The Failed Scientology Mission Network
The Mission network, once the front line of scientology dissemination, is a broken down, tiny shadow of its former self. Back in the bad old days, Missions were large, prosperous and brought in the majority of new people to scientology. In his infinite wisdom (really his growing paranoia), L. Ron Hubbard decided the Missions were seeking to rip off "his" orgs. They were "stealing" public and making too much money, so the infamous Mission Holder Convention of October 1982 in San Francisco was the beginning of the end. Some think this was all the work of Miscavige. They would be incorrect. … [Read more...]
We’re Open — Sort Of
This announcement is so typical of scientology. "We are officially open..." BUT... Not really. Nobody has ever had auditing without making an appointment (so no need to bold that). And you can't do courses. And it's not like some huge rush of people is going to be pouring into this mission. They might as well have been on Covid lockdown before there was a Covid lockdown. Nothing really changed. "We wish we could accommodate you all back at once..." is just wishful thinking. "All" is probably 3 or 4 paying public. If that. Scientology's pretense that there are floods of people … [Read more...]
Mission Fundraising Failing
Things are desperate in the scientology world. A mission in the heart of scientology's only real stronghold — Clearwater is confined strictly to Flag while there are numerous orgs in the SoCal area and more scientologists there than anywhere in the world — this Mission is halfway between Valley and Pasadena ideal orgs and a few miles from "dissemination central" at SuMP and Big Blue. If they cannot survive living off auditing and training there, it's not going to happen anywhere. And a second one came in from Brand Blvd Msn which has got to be a little bit embarrassing when you read t … [Read more...]
Scientology Missions: Going, Going, Gone…
Since 1982, when Hubbard wrote that directive, the number of missions in scientology has been steadily DECREASING. In 1982 there were about 150 orgs -- the same number as today (despite the "massive international expansion"). I have commented on this a number of times. Yet, at no time in scientology history has there ever been anything CLOSE to 1500 missions (10 per org). Today there are less than 400 with a large percentage of them nowhere near an org -- off in the wilds of central and eastern Russia and other former soviet bloc countries. Hell, not only are there dozens of states … [Read more...]
Scientology Franchises Fail
Once upon a time, there was a rather large and fairly prosperous network of scientology franchises (this is what Hubbard originally called them, until like his use of the word "fees" which was changed "donations", the word was replaced by "missions" in order to sound less commercial). The Franchise network was pretty much decimated during the infamous Mission Holder Convention of 1982 where Miscavige first burst into public view as the new Capo of scientology. Franchises were always supposed to be the "front lines" of scientology. The spearhead both into new areas of the world and to new … [Read more...]
