The family and I, along with the Headleys, are embarking on a long-planned, end of summer vacation cruise to Alaska today. For the next 10 days, there won't be any new blogposts. Happy Thanksgiving
In the US today it is Thanksgiving. A time to reflect on and appreciate the good in your life. For many who read this blog it is also a time of sadness as they are reminded of the family and friends they are not sharing this Thanksgiving with due to scientology's inhumane practice of disconnection. Someone recently sent this to me. I thought it a curious piece of scientology history for a number of reasons. Starting with the thought there is nothing new in scientology -- including their cliches. You can see it gets off to a roaring start by announcing a "milestone." Today milestones happen a dozen times a year. Back then this was a trendsetting new word to make the lame sound amazing.
