Now, this is really going to “get ‘er done.”
That the CO WISE EUS headlined a weekend of fun-filled activities at “Flag” on how to build “ideal orgs” says it all. What a strange choice — when the legal cases against WISE groups are filed, the church protests LOUDLY that WISE has NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION and THE CHURCH IS NOT INVOLVED.
Surely EUS and Flag are not THAT short on anyone to speak that the ONLY person they could come up with for the weekend seminar was the CO WISE EUS?
Or maybe they are?
And what an exciting agenda it was — team competence drills, a simple sales seminar and a “fundraising panel” in the coveted Sunday morning slot.
Even the FSO and the overexcitable Flag OT Committee could only come up with Quentin Strub for this all important weekend of alliancing on the most important activity in all of scientology.
There won’t be any headlines about what a fabulous weekend of amazing accomplishments this was. I suspect nobody showed up….
The “ideal org” program has run it’s course. This is merely further proof.
Steph says
The last time I attended a fundraising event several years ago, Quentin Strub was the featured speaker. (For the doomed Boston Org). He is not a good public speaker, first of all. I wanted to give money just to make him stop talking. Keep it up C of S ! ( the C stands for Cult). Watching them go down is beginning to be more entertaining than watching Breaking Bad reruns! Thank you Mike for all you do. You are helping more than you probably know. Thank you.

A few years ago, I got a job with a Scientology company, then was told my one of the other Scientologist employees of the company that they had gotten a call from WISE EUS stating that I had to buy a WISE membership. This apparently was because I was a Scientologist, and presumably then applying Scientology policy in this Scientology company. Well other than things that are common practice in businesses generally – such making a list of things to do for the week or day, or keeping some type of statistics – which also covered in Scientology policy, I was not “using policy.” So I told the other guy to have this WISE person call me, which they never did. This same other Scientologist who was trying to push me into WISE’s arms, was soon after asked by the owner of the company to apply lower conditions and instead refused and quit. This company wasn’t applying Scientology policy in any event other than de minimus lip service squirrelly stuff. My take away was that WISE is nothing but a parasite.
Hallie Jane says
Right. My hubby has referred to wise as “the squirrel group” since the 90’s, after an unpleasant interaction. I had a parallel experience with applied scholastics. I was hired to help a small Scn private school, 75 students, because most of the kids couldn’t read or read well. The owner was paying a large sum to applied scholastics every month and after an “inspection” their only advice was, “put in pink sheets”. For the never ins, this is a corrective action, written on pink paper, to remind a person of something they should already know. You can imagine the absurdity of this for a 6/7 or 8 year old who can’t read at all. I implemented PHONICS and fired applied scholastics. All the kids were reading within a short time. 🙂 I was called in for a reaming by some AP exec, but she just spazzed about how hard she worked and all her certs. I felt sorry for her, just said “ok” and never heard from them again. The irony is, that I had good success teaching the kids about study tech. I found some colorful “how to use a dictionary” workbooks and young dictionaries with all or lots of pictures for the little ones. It was so easy to help them learn, to draw pictures or build things when they got stuck. Their excitement for learning just needs feeding. But in true rcs form, AP just became a money making arm, pretending to care about education with no reality about the actual work to get a product on the rowdy little monsters.

SadState you are obviously lying. Scientology is a tax-exempt religion that has no connection whatsoever to business enterprises such as Wise. To link them shows you are delusional and therefore in need of dianetics therapy to get your thoughts in order.
I sure miss Tommy Davis as the COS spokesliar.

Hold up! I missed something. Which booming Class V Orgs has Quentin Strub built?

“If it isn’t ‘hey you’, off-line and off-policy, then it’s not Scientology.” You said it Aqua!
Aquamarine says
And he’s since been impressed into Special Services for Makemerich, just another shill for Ideal Morgues. I recall reading that he was the featured speaker in a similar seminar held at Flag a few years ago, wherein he nervously explained to the audience why CO WISE EUS was doing fundraising. No worries, Quentin. We get it. If it isn’t “hey you”, off-line and off-policy, then its not Scientology.
Foolproof says
Your last sentence was superb Aqua. Still laughing. You forgot the “out-tech” though!
Aquamarine says
Whoops, I sure did. Thanks, Foolproof. Love your handle, btw.
Foolproof says
Re my handle: Thanks Aqua – yeah, it’s pretty cool (I say immodestly) or rather appropriate bearing in mind the stupidity that is going on in Orgs these days (well, for quite a .long time now – decades in fact) . I still can’t quite believe that Scientologists put up with all this enforced demanding and low-toned crap and 1984-type environment without saying “why are you being so low-toned and aggressive – is there something that you are doing that is not really ok?” It’s this mindset and valence that annoys me – totally exported worldwide of course from you-know-who.
Aquamarine says
Back in about 2004 or 2005, I was looking for a WISE Consultant to help me with an aspect of my business, and was informed that Wise consultants were no longer permitted to be hired by existing Scientologists or their businesses – that they could only work for companies who were not Scientology companies so as to focus their efforts on recruiting them. I thought this was strange, and rather unfair, in that I was perfectly willing to pay consultant fees, its not like I was looking for anything to be given to me, or even discounted, but no, I was told that this was now firm policy. All verbal, and I did not query or pursue it further; instead I read policies in the Green Vol which pertained to my issue and worked it out myself. So much for what my WISE dues bought me – not even the right to pay one of their consultants. Today, I wish I had gone to SS Commandant Quentin and asked for a reference on this, but then, this particular Scientology Nazi was someone I avoided whenever humanly possible.
hgc10 says
And once again — the only valid goal in life for a Scientologist is expanding Scientology. Need a consultant to help your business improve? Tough! That doesn’t contribute toward global expansion. Need to keep your employees happy by not proselytizing in the workplace? Fuggedaboutit! Disseminate to captive audiences for the sake of all dynamics!

Groups within groups, within groups….on and on.
Where does it end?
When does it stop?
Soon WISE will take over orgs as their
managing entity, Narconon (opps maybe not),
Able (opps maybe not), hmmmm it appears some
of these groups are in disarray. Let’s see….oh yes,
Way To Happiness will become div 6 answering only to the FART
vids. And yes the IAS will take over all Tech divs as they are the
only group that can key out large areas of the world in one fell swoop.
This will all be done out of necessity as orgs are failing due to actually
trying to use LRH tech in training auditors and auditing PC’s…..Huh? auditing
PC’s?….you have got to be kidding?….NO….. auditing tech is now considered as
above…..seminars on how to fund raise.
Life Repair is now a rundown on how to eliminate all stops in fund raising and
feel really good about it. If one can fund raise then of course their Life has now
been sorted out and they can get on with it.

Dave, Speaking of your dismal failures, what’s up with JLo and Leah Remini hanging out together? Was that one of your goons that rear-ended them while they were driving through Malibu this past weekend?
Old Surfer Dude says
Well, that’s written in stone, Joe. But don’t you know that the more money you give, the greater your status is? And status is everything now. But, far, far more importantly, is, giving every last dime you have gives you incredible case gain! You can actually reach OT iX & OT X just by emptying your kids’ college fund…
jonsty says
I just have to say…Quentin Strub is a sociopath…pure and simple. He comes across caring, but cross or disagree with him and he will rip your heart out.
Isn’t it interesting that he was chosen to speak.

My comment below was meant for Jonsty – clicked the wrong link..

Another warm fuzzy and helpful Cult member at your service!

And if they did things properly of course there would be no need for all this sociopathic stuff – the poor soul is using force and aggression because he is running on off-policy orders and ripping people off for donations etc. What a shit life he must have! Imagine a whole lifetime of doing that to other people?
NOLAGirl says
Frankly, I think that is all that is left in Co$. The abusers and the abused. Miscavige is not the only sociopath or narcissist in the group. There are still some people left profiting and/or getting off on the power they have. I wouldn’t say there are many, but they are there. And if they overlook abuse or crime for any reason, they are just as guilty as the Tiny Twit is.

Right! I honestly don’t find dm truly intelligent. It’s more clever, conniving manipulation, that’s not true rationality. He’s used gobs of other people’s money to exert control, pamper himself, play designer/contractor and stay out of jail. He’s more akin to an organized crime boss with the same amoral group around him, getting their money from criminal activities. Anyone who could manage shermanspeak for 5 minutes, let alone hours, gets the dunce of the year award. It’s a cousin of the Darwin award.
tony-b says
Lucille’s post reminded me that cardone is Italian for thistle.
Southern Italian (Sicily and Naples): from Sicilian carduni ‘thistle’, ‘teasel’, ‘cardoon’, probably a topographic name, but, used figuratively to mean ‘rough’, ‘uncouth’ or ‘stingy’, ‘miserly’,

Something I’ve thought about for a while now…
If WISE and WISE Consultants are sooooo great and effective, why don’t they consult the church itself? Surely nothing could be more important, than saving the planet. So, why don’t they turn their trained eye to small, failing orgs? And apply the magic of LRH Admin Tech and boom them?
Foolproof says
The honest ones (if any still left?) would inevitably point out the elephant in the room (and get declared) – the dishonest ones would say that the elephant in the room is being suppressed by the mice.
Cooper J Kessel says
I would think just the presence of Matt Feshbach in any org would boom it due to his twice over Resurging Causitiveness.
If not, perhaps he needs a tune up.
Yo Matt,
Whaddya Say, wanna do it again. Should help you stay trim if nothing else.
statpush says
I thought you said “Regurgitating Causitiveness” 🙂
Cooper J Kessel says
LOL….that is what I should have said!!
Old Surfer Dude says
Coop, isn’t it the more times you do the Running Programs, umm, I mean Cause Resurgence, the more case gain you make? So, that would mean someone who had done it 10 times would be superior to the others who had done less? Could this be called the “Never Ending Rundown?”
Joe Pendleton says
What was that old saying? … If it isn’t fundraising, it isn’t Scientology.

I guess everyone and his mother is pushed “to do something”.
Even though the ideal org program is pushed relentlessly in every corner of the Scientology universe, the various subgroups (orgs, sectors, units, OTC committees etc.) are actually not well coordinated. Could as well just have been a “reminder” by somebody up the command line “to get active” and …. whoops, we have a seminar weekend.
It’s the same with LA Org “going SH size”. Wasn’t the term “SH size” replaced (superseded) by “Ideal Org” – and what is the difference anyway (automatic Div VI panels?)
Besides the points you make in the post, to me this is another sign of desperation – just throw everything you have at the cause, no matter how sensible. it’s the “hairdresser selling insurance policies” picture – WISE is fundraising for idle orgs (but not helping businesses), the Irish Hotel (castle) by the sea sells Scientology (but poor accommodations), the IAS sells “case gain” (but doesn’t fund public campaigns and actual programs that help the world) – everybody does (or pretends to do) “everything” – almost ideally organized :).
Foolproof says
Yes, it is now all a sham. I just hope that some still in are doing at least a bit of training and (covertly – as such would be frowned upon as “1st Dynamic-oriented” or some such nonsense) getting some auditing (gasp!) from those who may still know how to do so.
