I assure you, these WERE sent via hushmail.
In the spirit of giving on this big birthday weekend celebration, another gift to brighten Mr. Miscavige’s day. More leaks from his bubble.
There is some pretty remarkable stuff here. Remember this is the FLAG OT Committee. Flag, according to the PR is “bursting at the seams” getting momentous numbers of people through Super Power, the Running Program, Grades, L’s and ten thousand on Solo NOTs etc etc etc.
Sorry, but that just does not add up with a “successful” event last Saturday with “about 10 people” in attendance. I wonder what they consider to be a failed event these days?
55% of the OT COMMITTEE members have completed “The Basics” — after nearly SEVEN YEARS! Just a little over half of them are done. And these are the top of the heap. The most dedicated, with-the-program, OT Ambassadors at the highest org in the world. And they are damned PROUD of this. Means probably 10% of the average population of KoolAid drinkers has completed “The Basics” even after all the push there has been on this and the reiteration once again that this is prerequisite for GAG II training… Dave, these people are CI to your intention. They probably ALL need to be declared.
But its all OK, because last week the OTC had Highest Ever donations to the IAS. That one sentence tells you everything you need to know about the Fundamentalist Church of Scientology. It worships at the altar of money.
Their stats are clearly false — total OTC members on service went from 62 to 202 in one week, but only 31 started anything? I guess the “on service” is just if someone shows up for a course at least once during week? In which case the vast majority of the OTC have NOT been showing up, and someone lowered the boom on them as attendance tripled in one week? You want to bet that someone went and told them that “COB is coming back into town and may come to the next OTC meeting and ask you what course you are on.” That would work wonders at exacting compliance from these sort of people.
Another real telltale sign that things are not so hunky-dory at Flag is the fact that they have fired a 3 man project to contact and handle ARC broken OTs in the local field. Must be quite a situation to warrant assigning two Class IX auditors to a full time project? I guess they don’t have anyone to audit in the HGC? But I thought they were bursting at the seams?
It’s funny, there used to be complaints from the community about the uniformed zombies walking between the Coachman and Clearwater Bank buildings and the FH/Sandcastle/Oak Cove. But now, the downtown is completely dead. You cannot see in the windows of the SP Building, or the walkway. So no signs of life. The staff are now eating in the basement, so no walking. The public walk across the enclosed walkway (here is what it looks like inside) and so the downtown area of Clearwater looks more and more like a ghosttown.
And of course, what would an OTC meeting be without a pitch for some Ideal Org Alliance? Don’t want to miss out on a possible revenue stream, even though Flag is already “ideal” Flag and they have an “ideal” Tampa.
Must be nothing but fun being a member of the OTC….
Flag OT Committee Meeting Minutes
Monday March 10, 2014
Call to Order
Sue Moore, Deputy Chairman called the meeting to order and welcomed attendees.
Recent Completions were announced:
SRD completed by Jack Dirman
OT VI part C completed by Mariah Nagengast
OT I completed by Bob TwaalfhovenSue briefed us that the “Window to the Bridge” event last Saturday, March 8th had been successful. There were about 10 people there, and Chris Baker, Deputy D of T FSO did a great job with his briefing on the New Student Hat, also on Pro TRs and Pro Metering. Sue encourages us to attend the next briefing and to bring others, and to promote these as being very enlightening.
Announcements, by Divisions
Lyle Roland, OES, holding Qual from above announced that 98% of our OT Committee members are on Service, and that 55% are Full Basics Completions. She mentioned that Drew Johnston would be the speaker at this week’s “Keys to OT” event, and Arte Maren added that Drew is a great speaker and should not be missed.
Debbie Sharp, PES announced that last week was a “highest ever” for donations to the lAS, and “highest ever” for the OT Committee making donations to the lAS.
Statistics
Sue Moore, Deputy Chairman showed some great graphs as she reported some of our statistics for last week’s production:
• Total OTC Members on Service up from 62 to 202 – in a steep affluence
• OTC Members Arrivals up from 14 to 31 – in affluence
• OTC Members Service Completions up from 12 to 29 – steep affluence
• Div 6 Tours – up from 16 to 17, and graph going into power trend.Sue said there are more up-statistics to report every week!
General Announcements
Sue reminded us that the LRH Birthday Event is only days away, and that everyone will need their new 2014 Flag Event pass card to get in. She encouraged us to get our pass card if we hadn’t done so already, and to spread the word.
Sue also briefed us that the LRH Birthday Weekend (Friday 3/14 through Sunday 3/16) will be a big one, with the Live LRH Birthday Event Friday evening at Ruth Eckerd Hall, and the OT Committee Convention on Saturday and Sunday. The Convention will include speakers and news from Int Management, and will take place on Saturday from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, ending in the afternoon so people will have time to get ready for the Patron Ball Saturday evening. The Convention will have a second session on Sunday from 10:00 AM to lunch time. Several volunteers were found from amongst the attendees to help with the convention sign-in on Saturday at Noon. The Convention will take place in the Crystal Ballroom .
Special Guest Speaker/Briefing
Mike Rock , Class IX Auditor from the Flag AO briefed us about a new project and introduced the other two S.O. staff on the project team: Alan Preager, a top Class IX Auditor at the AO, and Myron Rapp, Qual Consultant at the AO. Their project is to contact OTs in out local area and help them sort out what their next step is, and help them get onto it. They will visit people in the community, do home visits, and can tag with our members and FSMs to go and see people. Myron said they offer free ARC-break sessions, can do metered interviews, and use other LRH Tech tools to get people de-bugged, resolve their stops and get moving. Mike said that he works mainly with OT IIIs and OT Vs, and that Alan and Myron work mainly with the OT VIs and VIIs. He said they are here to back us up in our OTC project to get people moving on the bridge. Contact data for all three was given:
Mike Rock – 7274 52-2940, or email m.rock@fso.org
Alan Prager – (727) 41 7-1592
Myron Rapp – 727-644-0173, email m.rapp@fso.orgThere was a “Q and A” period with attendees asking things of the three guests from the AO. A staff member from the Chaplain’s Office added that she and the Chaplain’s office assist this project to get people smoothly routed into the AO for a free ARC-break session, or other cycles that will help.
Wig Adams, New Civilization Officer FSO briefed us that some more volunteers are needed as “Greeters” at the airport, for public arriving for the big event weekend. He asked for four more members for the time slot from 2:30 PM to 7:30 or 8 PM on Thursday, and 2 or 3 for Friday morning. Some members stepped up to take some time slots, and Wig made himself available after the meeting for any interested others.
Scott Superville, Dir Success FSO arrived to the meeting wearing a jockey outfit, stirring up excitement for the LRH Birthday event just days away. He said to be at Ruth Eckerd Hall at 5:00 PM as the event MAY just start at 6:30, rather than at 7 PM. He also briefed us that once inside the hall it is “open seating” despite any seat numbers on the tickets.
Scott announced that this week, LRH Birthday week is “Ideal Org Week” and we are raising money for Ideal Orgs, so spread the word. There is a meeting at 8:00 PM with the Captain FSO in the Hibiscus after the GTC meeting about Ideal Orgs. The Flag Ideal Ory Alliance (Miami, Atlanta,Orlando and Puerto Rico) needs creation and to have a fun game. Encourage people to donate, and bring your ideas for events and games to the table.
Adjournment Sue read an LRH quote from 1952 lecture, “Outline of Technique” and members stood and applauded LRH. Sue then adjourned for members to work in their individual production group meetings.

I was thoroughly entrenched in the Flag OT Committee a very long time, as both Dir Comm and Stats I/C.
Mike noted: “Their stats are clearly false — total OTC members on service went from 62 to 202 in one week, but only 31 started anything?”
For anyone knowing the data series, a stat jump like that begs the question, “What made that happen.” Here’s my take from my many years experience with the group. Annually just before LRH’s birthday or Maiden Voyage celebration, there was a major push to get members to report backlogged stats that would be lumped on one week, the end result being “highest evers.” Not exactly standard stat keeping. That’s a good guess at explaining the surge in the “members on service” jumping from 62 to 202.
As Dir Comm, I had the OT Committee lists for emailing comm, i.e. the minutes, to the group. The lists through time ranged from between 300-400 people. So these minutes report 98% – or 202 members – on service. So, if my math is correct, that would mean that there were only 206 on the list of members. That’s a pretty hefty decline from the 300-400 that were on the list when I was involved.

SRD Jack Dirmann. That has to really chap his ass. The guy who recruited me for Sea Org in the 70s, the man who was married to the CO of ASHO, Irene Howey in the 70s the man who was an insider on the Reed Slatkin fraud gets to attest to the lowly SRD 40 FREAKING YEARS LATER????????????????????????????????? How can he still be in the bubble? That just blows my mind that he would even be willing to re re re re start his bridge to do that.

Flagdown 2014 – Be There!
‘See http://www.flagdown.org for full details of this event and to share your support for this vital event.
Flagdown is a non-commercial, non-profit event being held in Clearwater, Florida from May 5-10, 2014 to expose the crimes of the Church of Scientology. Speakers and participants will share their stories and there will be a protest march on May 10.
The use of Sara Bareilles’s song and video for Brave is fair use under section 107 of the Copyright Act. Flagdown 2014 is a non-commercial, non-profit activity which encourages creativity and activism against oppression. It is also an awesome song that embodies what we believe in taking a stand against Scientology.”

I couldnt get through my Basics. There wasnt enough practical. There was no doingness except an “essay” here and there. I got up to the PDC and honestly I dont think I could have done any more. I get this lack of mass feeling that I can’t shake with a clay demo. I felt as I studied that I wanted to try what I was studying. I think really thats the only way I could go through everything- with some doingness. I guess that would be the BC or something. The Basics are garbage and whoever had the idea and enforced it on everyone is either an idiot or an SP.
The proper way would be to study condensed, concise data that you need to do something like audit. Then when you are serious about it do a full study as in the Briefing Course. People who finished their basics at my org didnt know shit about anything. A friend of mine after completing started on his Dianetics Auditor course and he couldnt do it. He couldnt apply and he was destroyed on the subject. He couldnt apply what he was studying in I dont recall if it was the HDA or HPA course. And this was after comping all his “Basics”. Didnt make sense at the time. I think he want through his Basics with no practical application and just got super glib.
If the Basics was Miscaviges idea he is a grade a dumb ass because it is completely worthless like al lhis other programs.

I found the basic books to be much better studied within the context of any given auditor training course as these materials are applicable to that level. The related significance is somewhat absent when the materials are merely read on their own, and as LRH mentioned, you can dabble with books and so forth on your own time, but an academy is strictly for auditor training.
Auditor training courses available in the Indies/FZ are from checksheet compilations of the late 80’s and early 90’s (pre-GAT) where many of the basics books are part of these auditor training courses, and where LRH advised they be studied.
ASHAMAN says
You’re right. It was only because I was away from the subject for 20 years and hungry that I was able to finish. Also, I had a bit of win after studying all that LRH (despite the edits on both books and lectures). I could see the glaring outpoints all around. It helped with my decision to leave.

What does DM do for kicks when he’s not kicking ass? Check out this report on his drinking.
1) Macallan 64 Year Old in Lalique
Price: $460,000
And here it is, the most expensive scotch in the world: The Macallan 64 Year Old in Lalique! The scotch was sold for $460,000 to David Miscavige at an auction at Sotheby’s, New York on November 2010, breaking the record for the most expensive whisky ever sold, and claiming the title of world’s most expensive scotch.
and when that ran out he bought this:
2) Dalmore 64 Trinitas
Price: $160,100
Trinitas is named because there are only three bottles of this whisky been made. This whisky is a blend of rare stocks, containing spirits dating from 1868, 1878, 1926 and 1939. This is the first scotch to sell for six figures.
The list goes on. But, he drank ‘em all up.
This weekend he’ll be drinking 2 quarts of Johnny Walker Red after seeing Sheldon and Sara Goldberg headlining in tomorrow’s Tampa Bay Times!!!

Anything over 18 years is flattering oneself; 15 years is plenty good enough; 12 years is not exactly as good, but not to be sneezed in … some consider this sinful, but single malt (lowland) scotch makes a superb Manhattan. Whether Angostura is better than Fee Brothers, is an interesting taste test. Single malts should be neat. There is a big difference between highland scotch and lowland scotch, the latter being much more robust. Glenfiddich and The Glenlivet are very popular for good reason.
Carcha says
P.S. Macallan is awfully ‘sweet’ even for highland; Dalmore is, I believe lowland.

I just don’t understand how so much tech can be so un-applied by all these well trained, well audited people while cancelled destructive policy, such as disconnection which I’m sure seemed to be the answer at the time but was later found to be a mistake, is being applied with enthusiasm. There is an alternate universe here.
I’d like to see Mike Rinder up on stage again at one of these events giving a synopsis of the situations.
David Lingenfelter
Bruce Ploetz says
Hi Dave! You know they left the tech behind in the dust when they embraced Dave and his brand of Radical Corporate Scientology fundamentalism. Sadly, despite a few halfhearted efforts Ron could not bring himself to make it possible to pass on the torch to someone else, so any chance to actually reform Scientology or correct mistakes died with Ron.
Scientology is like one of those flies caught in amber from a primordial forest – it looks like a fly but cannot eat, drink, reproduce, grow or act. It is long dead. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that DM doesn’t know this. His actions make it obvious that his main purpose now is just to get as much cash out of the existing system, build up as much capital, as possible – before it collapses. Then to escape the collapse with as much gain for himself as he can grab. You know DM, you worked with him as much as I did. Did it ever seem that he cared about anything but his own power and the cool toys that came with it? Did you ever hear him worry about tech delivery, making auditors or recovering ARCxen public? He knew it was a scam and a con very early in life and has gone on with that viewpoint, grabbing every penny and ounce of admiration he can. While pushing those around him into the dust.

How we know things are not going well:
“He also briefed us that once inside [Ruth Eckerd] hall it is “open seating” despite any seat numbers on the tickets.”
What they mean by this is:
Since we call everyone 50x per day to demand they attend this event, instead of hanging up on us, people have now figured out that it’s better to answer when we call, get confirmed and promise they are really absolutely positively going to come without fail and then don’t show up. So when the event rolls around, if we stick to assigned seating, there will be massive holes in the audience that everybody (especially DM) will see. But if we let people sit wherever they want, then we can fill in the spaces and COB won’t know how many Flag staff are in the back rows desperately hoping we can make the event look like it’s full.
Mike Rinder says
You got it JPC. As usual.

Oracle,
Having worked in ABATE of California as a Motorcyclist Rights Activist along with Art who I might add used to epitomize one of the Wild Ones back then I can say from personal experience that a higher court like the Supreme for example doesn’t pay much attention to a lower or inferior courts decision.
I mean we had a judge in superior court at the county level declare the mandatory helmet law as unconstitutionally vague yet couldn’t get the California Supreme court to rule on it either way.
So basically the law still stands.
In other words I wouldn’t hold out too much hope that this decision will affect anything at higher levels aside from the fact that the judge has entered an opinion which has gone on record.
Personally I wouldn’t think that the Supreme Court would want to touch a case like this with the proverbial ten foot pole because it would be a ruling on religion placing the court between a rock and a hard place if they rule either way.
That said. There is always a possibility that the IRS may act on this but I doubt it not because all us tin foil hat wearing wackos believe that the IRS is in cahoots with the Church but more likely because the service would find it distasteful to make another ruling on a case they had ruled definitively on earlier.
Not only did the IRS determine that Scientology was legally a 501ciii organization but they did it with much fanfare and even issued a booklet explaining how the “Scientology Religion” was indeed a religion.
Anyway this is only my opinion based on my own research and …heh….I could be wrong.
Though I’ve been right more often than not. So right that I wished I’d put money on it and might do so if odds were placed on the Church vs the (in) Justice system in Vegas.
The FBI investigated the Church and gave ’em a pass.
The LA Sheriffs Department pretty much closed the case on Shelly Miscavige after being given no more than proof of life.
That petition which had thousands of signatures was pretty much greeted with a yawn by the Obama Administration.
On each one of those I bet nothing was going to happen and it pretty much didn’t.
This is not that I wouldn’t love to see Miscavige taking a well deserved vacation at Club Fed. I mean the little rodent deserves that and more. It’s just that I’m not going to hold my breath.
The most likely scenario I see is that the Church basically collapses and ends up having to file Chapter 11.
Don’t think it can happen?
Think again.

Also Myron Rapp brings back memories/nightmares. He is the one who did the D of P on me to get me to Flag and told the wonderful reg, Edy Lundeen, “She is reading heavily on 2D losses, so show her the Cancer reference.” (My mother had just died in my arms and yes, I was reading on that loss). So the two of them double teamed me, pushing every Cancer button you can imagine. They even said that if I didn’t get to Flag right away that I could die of cancer and that “it could be growing in you right now and you don’t even know it.” And that only auditing at Flag would handle it. Oh really? How many OT’s are now DEAD of cancer that Flag didn’t handle?|???? My best friend in the 80’s joined the SO and ended up at Gold and Int and she contracted cancer and died. Before she died and after she finally (finaly!) got out of Int, she told me the reason she got cancer is that they tried to put her son on the RPF and that Flag had “fucked up my son’s case with out tech” and then proceeded to tell me all the out tech on his auditing. And as an auditor, I agreed and told her which references each out tech incident violated. She as much as said to me that that was why she got cancer, was because of their treatment of her son and her not being able to do anything to help him. It was very sad.
Cindy says
Thank you for your honesty Chris. The fact that you couldn’t contribute to that criminal and out ethics scene anymore proves that you are a Social Personality and the SP Declare is a lie. (I’m writing this for the benefit of the OSA Bots that read here.)
And also you are right about both Flag and PAC being in hiding. I saw it when I drove by the PAC area and saw the fake trees nailed to a huge fake fence that covered everything. And I noticed in the picture Mike put up that on the skywalk between the FH and the SP Building that you can see windows on the outside but can’t see in, yet on the inside they have the windows covered somehow so that you can’t see out, so it is like walking in a well lit tunnel with no real sunlight coming in. Hiding! And in the PAC area they have an underground walkway connecting AO to ASHO somewhere near Lebanon Hall. That’s how they get from place to place when Special People like Tory are standing on the sidewalk. lol But seriously, how sad that the very organization that was put there to save not only the planet, but “this sector of the universe” is in hiding and can’t even reach. Contraction is the only movement these days. The end is near. It must suck to be Miscavage.

I know it’s a minor point but I have a peeve about the greeters at the airport. Typical for them to focus on a minor thing like this, to pretend to be courteous or helpful but then, treat you like an invisible piece of shit when you get to flag. Are the flag public really not able to catch a cab or rent a car? I got picked up by a rickety van where the driver, who looked like crap, was yelling at someone on the phone the whole trip. No thanks. This is just another example of disingenuous, superficial niceties that are just plain phony. Their focus is so far from the wins of pcs/preots and well trained auditors, and they think this is going offset gross out tech and perversion of ethics and admin?!?!? I should sell them an iceberg.

Re MJ’s Beatles rewrite — that made me smile (thanks MJ).
I had just been thinking that Scientology had let itself become the Church of Lies:
— Hubbard’s life history (childhood, travels, military record, academic background, diploma mill PhD for awhile, number of marriages, children, etc.).
— The sources of Dianetics and Scientology.
— The claims (increased IQ, 100% standard results, OT abilities, Clear abilities, etc.)
— The policies (no disconnection, no fair game, etc.)
— The circumstances of Hubbard’s deterioration, mental state, and cause of death.
— Narconon results and links to Scientology.
— Applied Scholastics and links to Scientology.
— Citizens Commission on Human Rights and links to Scientology.
— Criminon results and links to Scientology.
— Purification mechanisms and results, and lack of safety and efficacy evidence.
— Claims about Mars, Venus, Van Allen Belt, faster than light travel, etc.
— Volcanoes that did not exist 75 million years ago.
— Activities of Guardian’s Office and the Office of Special Affairs.
— RPF and The Hole.
— Adverse effects experienced by many (from McPherson to less severe).
— Claiming that required donations are not fees for service.
— SP declares.
— Production statistics (auditing and training replaced with materialistic aims).
— Priest-penitent privilege and protection of confidentiality.
A Church that has gone this far away from its purported integrity is on the fast track to bigger and bigger trouble.
So MJ is right on: “Hey! you’ve got to hide the truth away.”
Or you could do as someone like Mark “Marty” Rathbun advised: tell the truth so it becomes part of your past — and evolve!

Many of the talking points you’ve listed as “lies” can be disputed.
For instance what many Geologists say happened 75 Million Years ago is solely based on theory.
Again whether there any such thing as Clear or OT Abilities first is subjective even so there is objective scientific evidence to support such a “claim”:
http://www.ics.uci.edu/~jutts/UttsStatPsi.pdf
http://www.dojopsi.info/stargateCIAdocs/
Hubbard already acknowledged his sources for Dianetics and later Scientology in his earlier editions of Science of Survival.
Regarding Hubbard’s biography this is an hotly disputed area and actually one that has no or little bearing on the validity of the subject itself nor on its workability or possible lack of workability.
As far as I’m concerned it is nothing but a straw man “argument”.
Also the Citizens Commission on Human Rights says right on its logo that it is “sponsored by the Church of Scientology” and has said so since it was first established in 1969.
Autopsy of Lisa McPherson concluded her death was due to criminal neglect and physical abuse.
The above if you ever bothered to study the subject you criticize are not part of any Scientology procedure that exists.
MJ says
Thanks for that remoteviewed.

Lots of stupidities in their minutes, such as: proclaiming the week of LRH’s Birthday as “Ideal Org Week” (gag); and saying that the event, which has already been broadly announced to start at 7 PM “MAY start at 6:30,” so you have to be there at 5.
Mike Eldredge says
As usual Flag wasting its time and resources sending out an ARCX tour, since Davie already handled that by making everyone sign the new non disparagement “agreement”. So theoretically there now now more ARCxs because after all who wants to pay $25,000 just to voice one, its cheaper to just shut up and redo your objectives despite the fact that you are on the top of the grade chart and objectives is at the bottom . Makes sense if you close your eyes and don’t think about it.
MJ says
Look at that picture of COB. Walk over to it. Salute HIM as loudly as you can. (Over and over to EP – recognition of new source)
remoteviewed says
MJ
Unfortunately even though as funny as hell. It’s probably the way they’re doing “objectives” these days.
Mike,
Yeah I see your point.
Why bother handling ARCxs that nobody’s supposed to have any more by the grace of legal counsel.
Like I said Monique Dingaling must have been up all night working on those non-disparagment agreements which pretty much leaves any Churchie with as many “rights” as your average Soviet citizen under Stalin.

Admit it Mike, you miss it (life at the top).
Mike Rinder says
Well, the real quote was that I miss running with the big dogs in the tall grass…
Oh, how I long to be there, coming home from the event and confronting the latest Joe Childs bomb and the Judge Waldrip neutron bomb. Staying up all night to come up with a “handling” to present to Dear Leader in the morning. Of course, the ONLY real handling would get to have him resign with an abject apology.
Yeah, I really miss that. Instead we went to Shane’s Little League game, Jack played with the other little kids, Shane made it onto base twice, the sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky 78 degrees… I was longing for the good old days.
SadStateofAffairs says
Yeah, me too. I really miss having to stay up all night to comply with some insane order so that he will be with COB in the morning after he wakes up from a full night sleep, so that it can sit in his unhandled traffic for weeks, months or years; or alternatively, be answered with a profanity-laced, whiney, victimish face ripping.

Any report as to how many showed up to hear the tiniest Co$ jockey spout his words of wisdom? Also, would you mind explaining briefly what you meant by coming up with a handling?
Mike Rinder says
Did not get a report yet on attendance. Though I would be amazed if they couldn’t scrape together 2300 people to fill Ruth Eckerd. There are almost that many staff in the Tampa Bay area if you include outer org trainees and Tampa Org.
What it means to “come up with a handling” is that if you are the CO OSA Int and there is a bad media story or ruling in a case, then COB expects you to present a “handling” for the disaster because this is your zone of responsibility. Even if he is the cause of the situation, that is never accepted. So there has to be a “handling” proposed. It would include some sort of “Dead Agent” on the “lies” in the article and dealing with anyone who might be influenced. “Investigating” the Tampa Bay Times etc etc etc
MJ says
Sounds like a great job. Why did you quit?
Mike Rinder says
Havent you been listening to the church? I was removed from all positions of authority for malfeasance. I didnt leave, I was kicked out. (Even though on the day I walked out, I was the “international spokesperson” of the Church of Scientology International — but don’t let any facts cloud your truth).
MJ says
Sorry, I was being cynical. My bad.

Looove this, you guys! Ahhh, the good ol’ days. Workin’ 25/8 for a place to sleep for a few hours every couple days and some sort of food that tells your stomach it isn’t hungry anymore. Getting berated and verbally abused if your eyes close one second too long to be a blink. And wishful thinking if you could walk, not run, to the litter box and back. 🙂
From what I’ve heard over the years the LA people and Flag people didn’t quite have it at such a level of torment as the fantabulous int base did…or still does. Ahhhh, those good ol’ days!
Mike, I admire your making up for lost time with a family and nice home and tons of friends. And fun! Marty and Mosey too. THAT will become the good ol’ days!

LRH back in the late 1960s early 1970s did surveying of the Scientology public, and of staff, asking things and then LRH did things based off the surveys.
I’m not a Scientologist, and the independent Scientologists have voted already with their feet, but surveying the staff and public is a pretty easy fix to do, and not something permanent, but which would help.
Using the internet, they could find out things instantly, from their staff and membership, if they wanted to fix anything.
I guess they think the lower attendance is not an issue to be surveyed!
remoteviewed says
Hey Chuck,
As pretty much always you are absolutely right.
Yet I doubt if the Orgs will ever survey anything these days except pro forma because they know they’re right and everybody else is wrong.
Yeah I remember back in the day they wanted to dress all the staff including the non-SO like a bunch of Circus City clowns (you know with the white shirt tie and polyester pants) and I suggested that they do an ethnic survey before forcing everybody to dress up like a bunch of nerds.
Yeah that flew over like a lead balloon.

“Highest Ever” donations, and stats reflecting actual tech applied scraping along the bottom. No one announcing these delivery stats are truly proud of them. Yes, I’m sure it is in NO WAY following the actual ARCX programs to legitimately get people’s upsets sorted out and get them back into the orgs. And watch out, you nasty ARCX-en public….the ARCX’s you voice will cost you when you get routed to Ethics. (off policy of course but it’s gonna happen.)

I definitely agree with Mike that using a Class IX auditor on a local ARCX tour is a sign that the Flag AO is desperate for public. Though probably Mike Rock and Alan Preager have been permanently busted and no longer have OK to audit in the HGC. And open seating at the Birthday event? When DM is there to suck up the adulation, seating is very, very planned. Another pointer that Mike called it right when he said that David Miscavige would blow off speaking at the LRH Birthday event as “below him”. I guess the event is over now and the clapping seals, sheeple and ethics drones all know what happened. I imagine we will need to wait for a day or two till it appears on one of the blogs. Not that I mind the wait! Far preferable that having to sit through the pompous posturing, pointless pontificating and passe platitudes. These events are one long turgid gush of grating grandiloquence. Should I go on? No, I didn’t think so.
Mike Rinder says
No need to wait. The reports came in last night. Miscavige was there and announced he was going to come out with a new GAG lineup for the SBCs. Sherman gave his “source” presentation of indecipherable shermanspeak. And then “the French guy” handed out the bday game awards.
Roy Macgregor says
Well damn that was quick. Thanks for the update. I love the way that Daves 2.5 hour event can be completely covered in three sentances. And what a hoot! More GAG! I bet the sheeple were beside themselves with joy.Dave is going to keep releasing new altered versions of stuff from now until the end of time. He keeps changing the tech, changing the tech, making it less and less workable, more and more impossible and the sheeple love it!

Roy,
Well it pretty much follows what the Ol’man said about group bank accepting unworkable over workable technology in that policy letter nobody over there can seem to apply but continually pays lip service to.
The irony is that the Dope of Scientology commits what is considered a High Crime (i.e. altering the technology) per the Ethics and Justice codes practically every time he opens his mouth and is met with uproarious applause.
Its all like a bad one season comedy that should have been canceled long ago.

I find it interesting that after donating as much as he has, he’s very close to learning the “secret” of OT III. I wonder if he’s going to flip out on how he’s been duped all the time leading up to that. I know that was one of my reactions….
MJ says
A little off the subject, but does anyone really know what miscavige does when he’s not busy posturing and declaring? How much spare time does he actually have? I get the distinct feeling his schedule is nothing like the average SO member. Mike?

What does wearing a jockey outfit have to do with the birthday event? I don’t get it.
Mike Rinder says
The “Birthday Game” is a race between the orgs and missions. LRH ED 339R that describes it uses horseracing as a metaphor — they get tips from “the top jockey” and they cross the finish line to the flashing cameras and kissing girls presenting them with their racing silks. So the “racing silks” are presented to the winners on stage by pretty girls who kiss them on the cheek. And jockey outfits are sort of the Easter Bunny suits of the :Birthday Game.”
MJ says
And right now, little man Dave has a mountain of horseshit to clean up.
SILVIA says
Well, well, well. An ARCX Tour in the local area? This is a disaster, as it indicates there are quite a few people in the community that are practically blown.
Oh, talking about Ideal this or that, i think this is THE IDEAL BLOG, nothing matches the witty comments, the factual reports and for this I WANT TO REALLY THANK YOU MIKE.
Your status has been raised to “Very Much Appreciated” and is endorsed by many, many people.

“…total OTC members on service went from 62 to 202 in one week..” this indicates to me that 140 OTC members were allowed to wander offlines and that an effort was made to get them back into the courseroom on their basics using “highest evers for Ron’s Burthday” as motivation. It’ll drop back down to 62 next week.
GTBO says
Well that’s impressive………not!
Cooper J Kessel says
Gosh, I’m glad they posted the phone numbers and e-mail addresses of the wonderful folks willing to help clean up all of the ARCXs in the field. I think I’ll give Myron a call and invite him over ……. tell him to bring his meter too cause I really have some shit to get off my chest!!! How funny. They actually think they can salvage folks after raping and pillaging them?
Guys…………….here is a frickin clue for you. Leave your god damned meters at home along with your arrogant attitude and simply listen to the person in front of you and if you say anything at all it might start with “I am really sorry for all of the out tech, over the top regging, lying cheating and stealing I/we have done to you and your family in the name of saving the planet.”
remoteviewed says
Hey Coop,
What you wrote probably would work but there ain’t a chance in hell that the Mecca of Technical Deception would ever apply this data.
Seems Frag can’t admit they have a totally ARCXn and muddy field.
Here in LA at least they can admit it.
However they assign the cause to “defrocked apostates on the fringes of the internet” like Mike and “disaffects” like myself and other “Espeees”.
Nothing that they’ve done.

There’s STILL a game, and that’s really the point. Except it’s a different game than most of us got into Scientology to play originally. The new game is to keep as many paying customers around for as long as possible. That’s one reason no one in the CoS gets too upset about expelling OT8’s and experienced tech folks like me, all the way up to Cl 12. (Obviously you can’t “clear the planet” by offloading folks, much less the AUDITORS) Just keep ANY “disaffected” person from “infecting” a paying customer. Get them OUT and disconncected from NOW. It doesn’t matter if the numbers of folks on major service is dropping to 10,000. Keep as many of these around as possible and paying for as MANY things for as long as you can. This is STILL an annual take of 100 – 200 million a year, to say nothing of the real estate equity. Since the vast majority of “onlines” Scientologists are in much too bad a shape as beings to be anywhere NEAR cause on the 7th dynamic, I think this game can be strung out for another 15 years for Davey to keep living the life he loves. (* but with the court cases, along with the shit PR, you never know, you never know …. it didn’t look like the USSR was just gonna implode one day and then …….).
Joe Pendleton says
By the way, I was slightly amused to see Arte Maren’s name in promoting Drew’s speech. Maren is too sharp to at least not kind of know what’s in the wind. If he’s still there, that means one thing. The man is “in business” baby. You know, he’s selling one thing or another. Like Michael Roberts, Wendy Ettricks, Dennis Negley, etc etc etc … these are the folks in Scientology who are “on commission”. They’d rob the last cent a starving man had …. to get that 10 or 15% …. uhm, I mean …. uhm … to save his eternity. (Maren’s probably in Real Estate, just a wild guess).
Joe Pendleton says
For some reason, I don’t know why I never thought of this before – but today after reading Tony’s column on the court decision, I thought (in regards to the judge’s decision that the CoS was acting as a business) …. how do you figure to LICENSE religious teaching, “pastoral counseling”? And THEN fucking violate OTHERS’ right to freely exercise THEIR religious beliefs?
Just keep the info going out as to what a fucking CRIMINAL organization this “church” has become. Let’s do some more “PR Area Control” in the Tampa Bay Area. Keep getting the info out what this “church” REALLY says about Christianity for example (there are plenty of LRH quotes to use). Maybe send a copy of “History of Man” to Rev Alfreddie while we’re at it. But I’m guessing the “good reverend” is probably raking in too much on commission to go back to the Bible at this point anyway.
Chris Shelton aka Galactic Patrol says
PAC and Flag Base are in hiding. They hide from public view on both bases. In PAC they put up bushes and trees. And I noticed that the bushes and trees are enclosing less and less space as time goes on because there are fewer and fewer people in their bubble world to fill up those spaces. At Flag, they’ve created a fishbowl environment where no one needs to ever go outside. Because heaven forbid they actually SEE a WOG!
To me, this hiding is a huge indicator of just how downscale the RCS has gone. They are exclusionary, cloistered and alone. No visible public presence, no book sales, no reach out activities and no welcome mat. Even their ARCX project operates only in Clearwater, where it’s nice and safe. I used to beg Flag to send an ARCX team out into the real world when I needed help recovering OTs. I couldn’t get the Chaplain to even answer a telex or pick up the phone. These people have no desire to confront anything.
So much for the world’s fastest growing religion taking the planet by storm and salvaging this sector of the universe. How are they going to do that if they can’t even extend a friendly hand and say “hi” to their closest neighbors? What a joke Scientology has become in the hands of the RCS. What a terrible joke.
Cognited and Out says
There used to be a huge ARCx project in LA – but the Flag terminals (esp Chaplains!!!) couldn’t confront anything! The upshot was that the ARCxs worsened!!! And trust in Flag handlings went straight down and vertical to hell!
MJ says
Don’t even think Satan would them at this point.
Chrissie W says
I worked on the Flag OT recovery project from about 2006-2009. The ARCX handlings were a joke. One for one the person brought in would walk away even more upset than they were to start with. It was ridiculous but eye opening. The Flag Chaplains ALWAYS favor whoever has the most money to contribute. It’s such a sham. When I walked away, I kept thinking, wow these are the people who are supposed to be my island of sanity and they are all crazy lunatics who only care about status and money!!

Cooper says below to just leave the meter at home and say “I am really sorry for all of the out tech, over the top regging, lying cheating and stealing I/we have done to you and your family in the name of saving the planet.”
When i was doing recoveries (and I did a lot of them) this is exactly what I did. I hardly ever used a meter or an auditor. It was just me and my little comm cycle. But I would acknowledge the mistakes and failures of the Church staff and sincerely want to help them get going again and they responded to that. It was NEVER about the money and I never ever tried to slip in a reg cycle.
Every time I did that, it worked. Until they got back in the org and fell prey to the IAS or GI vultures. And out they would go again. After a while, I couldn’t do it anymore because I realized the organization I was working for was not ever going to stop preying on these people. And that was one of the key things that convinced me to leave.
MJ says
Don’t vultures wait til the person’s dead before scavenging?

The big affluence stat of those back onto service, going from 62 to 202…that also includes people on an extension course who they talked into brushing the dust off the book and sending in a lesson. I would bet the majority of those back “on service” are extension courses, which they can now do online with public anywhere. A person does not even have to step foot into the place to be counted on the “active” stats.
