But in the real world of Scientology:
– You are not allowed to talk about your own case.
– You are not allowed to talk about the upper levels.
– You are not allowed to talk about the tech.
– You are not allowed to talk to journalists.
– You are not allowed to talk to (pretended) SPs.
– You are not allowed to say words of compassion.
– The Case Supervisor is not allowed to talk to his preclears.
There is this paradox, where Scientology is valuing very much communication and is in fact suppressing it.
But maybe the first statement is true:
If scientologists were free to communicate, that would dissolve Scientology.
That is actually happening as former scientologists communicate over the Internet and in TV shows like The Aftermath.
Free communication is actually dissolving the lies.
When there are no lies, there is nothing to be dissolved.
You’re not allowed to be yourself.

I always wonder, reading the Thursday funnies, if the public see the names of the guest speakers and think “Who?” in response to the names of the nobodies being listed as the headliners, or if they see someone like ChanMan and regard them as some international mover and shaker who they are blessed to even be in the same building with.
I think they view ChanMan as a God.
So many culture references here. Still learning and trying to understand the challenges. I was gaslit for 3 years … only 3. I’m about 3 years out from it and just starting to absorb and process the shock of it. I can’t imagine an entire lifetime and the recovery that takes. #staystrong

Eve, wishing you laughs, relief, strength ,and peace as you emerge from the gaslighting nightmare. Cults are ALL about gaslighting and manipulating, including scientology, so I’m sure you can empathize with the feelings and experiences of ex-cult members. Even after 7 years out of scientology, I am still untwisting the metal and emotional wreckage, though things are much, much better now than when I initially walked away from it.

Yes, I can identify with different things said. That caught me off guard when watching the aftermath show. It didn’t help I was incredibly vulnerable at the time with PTSd & FND at the time. This person rewrote my memories using my flashbacks/amnesia cycle of seizures … and then pushed my seizures to mess up my memory again. At some point my brain was able to track day to day stuff a bit better again and retain more memory … so i resisted the control and damn near died for it. Was held hostage for hours in my house, damn near thrown off a balcony and tossed around the house like a rag doll. I don’t have strength and I’m very disabled — and why did I stay in such a thing … how did I get into such a thing? IDK. It was like that quote, a frog in a pot of water. It’s awful. just horrifically awful. I’m incredibly fortunate now. I have an incredible support team/family/friends. I’m easily gaslighted … easily. Well, person to person. Online is much harder because this is my world and I know the social patterns better here. I’m lucky to be alive. The fresh PTSD is a lifelong buddy though. oi. my heart to all survivors. I used to not believe in evil .. like you hear about in the religious sense. After this past 8 years living some of them unable to communicate – and knowing how people treat you when they think you don’t understand or can’t speak to it — horrific. People you thought you knew well. family even. it’s one hell of a survival eh 😉 Doing my best to respect the people, wish for more to be saved from that horror, and hate the cult system.

I don’t know about you, but, for me, one of the gifts I received after coming out of my personal hell was a lasting appreciation of simple pleasures…in each present moment.

I can see evolution at work in a Scientology org. Any young, good-looking, or well-mannered public / FSM / staff walking around is quickly recruited into the Sea Org or posted to a higher echelon within the PR, marketing, and management structure that makes up Scientology. It’s why the orgs are dwindling, filled with old recruits, and endless-cycle (GAT, GAT II, ad infinitum) public / staff. The idle morgues are thus because the good theta potential has literally been eaten by the higher orgs (C-org, flag, or AO). It’s ‘theta’ evolution at work, right?! It’s why Class V orgs and missions are desolate; the Siberia of Scientology.
It’s pretty amazing how people get caught in the trap noted above. They’re good looking, young, or well-spoken. They are impressed upon that they have potential and will make something of themselves. They are put in very public places, like Hollywood Blvd. They might even be well taken care of… until they get old, an injury, or start practicing free will. Then they are thrown out with the trash, or posted to the Siberia of Scientology. It’s exactly the type of group you don’t want to be associated with, they will use and abuse anyone to use up your ‘theta potential’.
Anyone still-in reading this should start practicing free will. Word clear Free Will. Find out where it takes you, as it is your willingness at stake.

The only accepted criteria for holding an authority position in Scientology is the ability to police the lies – they have no other function. Hubbard made a career and a shit load of money perfecting a command system where everyone is a victim. Truth is the antidote, but speak it, act on it or appreciate the honesty of it and you’re treated as a criminal. That’s the game of Scientology. The lure of freedom and sanity for mankind is simply the bait.
