Exactly true. IAS will turn a blind eye (more like pretended not knowing) to ripping off or stealing from friends, businesses or spouses to get the money. Then if the spouse, friend or business wants their money back, they are out-ethics.
The certificate at the end is hilarious and not so off the mark as to how one of these certs should look.
Sorry this is off thread a bit, but in Janice Gillham’s book, she mentions Ron Pook (Pookie). Is he out of the church now? I know he left the SO , but is he also out of the church itself now?
As a never-in, it gives me no small pleasure in my own understanding of the Scientology ecosystem that I totally saw the ending coming (as did TomUfer).
I’m a computer consultant who is on the internet in one form or another 12-15 hours a day, and with all the amazing resources that I tap into for work or pleasure, the single thing I most look forward to every week is Regraded Being.
Mike Is it true that once the slaves have their ideal org they still have pay rent to the “landlords office”?? ( an office that has been closed for years in Clearwater ). Love an answer. Ex staff member.
That money is being used to stalk me around the clock every day and come up with fun little ways to harrass me every damn day.
It’s an absolute nightmare.
I’m sad everyday. I feel disconnected from my friends and family as only my boyfriend will believe me. I’m trying to document it as much as I can but I really don’t know how long I have. I’m having trouble with bills, my health and constantly worried I’ll be fired from work. I was blamed for my mother’s mental illness on the one side, and suspected to HAVE my mother’s mental illness by my father who is already ill. The only way to cure this would be to get everyone to take the “red”pill bc I already tried antidepressants, (blue) and it didn’t work.
In my area of the country few therapists would be informed on these subjects, and would misdiagnose me. I’m having to come up with my own strategies. Plus, the shifting footing I find myself on socially and financially bc of those who discount the reasons behind my new challenges causes me to be run ragged working and figuring out in a desperate attempt just to hang onto my own ass.
1) both parents mentally ill
2) rejected Scientology teachings after being tricked into leaving all my connections closer to home with the offering of help which was withdrawn once I had relocated
3) mom poisoned herself and unfortunately the captain of that plan f## told me about it so when they were sec checked it came out that I knew, my phone started being hacked I made the mistake of adding an old Scientology friend to Facebook thinking that they only attack authors and film makers for bad pr
4) when we were signing off on moms services I reported that my father was doing well on new medication which was probably a huge inval to moms death.
So basically, I was framed.
I was hacked in the midst of the greatest angst I felt about it, thinking I was working through it with friends when low and behold their signature move- always being worse than you realized- game on.
I see things that ex members can’t even talk about to remain credible, and I also scratch my head at just how delusional these people are- the ones approaching me.
YoNoid, I don’t know who you are, but don’t give up. Please, don’t give up. We’re only human here, but there’re many who will give you the sounding board you might find helpful. You sound so sad and desperate, but that will truly pass. I know from experience. There’s a great saying, “Don’t let the bastages grind you down.” It’s also not your job to listen to your father any longer. Come back here and share the load. It’s lighter when you do.
So sorry to hear you’re dealing with so much. That’s the beautiful thing about the work that Mike, Leah & many others are doing. The more that is exposed, the more people see what CO$ is capable of doing and therefore believe people who are struggling w/them!
Don’t give up hope! There are great people out here – it just takes time to get to know them & build friendships & trust. I have a dear friend who went through hell & back w/this cult. For many years people have thought her story was “crazy” and except for a couple authorities who helped, no one believed what she said was going on. I’ve seen some of it firsthand & know how amazing & strong she is!
YOU know the truth, so hold onto that and don’t let them win by giving up – you’re stronger than you know… we all are & I’ve met some of the strongest, most resilient people in the Ex-Scientology community!
Yes, people do care. That usually comes as a big surprise to people who were involved in $cientology and told that the real world is evil, dangerous and full of awful people.
Im very different from scientologists. I didn’t really get to the spiritual part I believe I was only in the Dianetics part. The issue had to do for me with having both parents mentally ill, I moved in with a different family at 14, then after living in an apartment for 2 years on my own, my scientologist family approached me making no mention of Scientology until I was under their roof, and no mention of me being under their roof until I was in their car. Before that they lured me away from my connections w the promise that they would help me with my art career it was a bald faced lie that turned my life completely upside down.
I have a very different story about the continual abuse of my trust in order to find profit in my personal tragedies.
And I was a magnet school student. I just was too poor to afford the internet so I didn’t find out the truth until it was too late.
Basically I used to think the world was full of good people, but now I see its death by a thousand cuts with them, but so innocuous that there are kids being pimped in the ghetto, obviously a higher priority than people getting scammed. The only thing I can say though, its that they exploit well meaning trusting people who want to help- that’s what happened to me and continues to happen.
To be honest I constantly need 32gb sd cards and backup hard drives but a lawyer and a social media pi would be just amazing.
I’m having to record all this crap and bc it’s so subtle and extensive I have to record incredible amounts of data to catalogue and establish connections that rule out mere coincidence.
There’s no business like org business like no business I know
Everything about it is revealing, ‘specially when Davey takes a bow
Nowhere could you get that special feeling when you are learning to kowtow
There’s no people like org people, they smile when they are low

Next day there’s your hate website for all to see, let’s go on with the show!
This has a precedent from 2010, when a Reverend Rex Fowler (OT7) murdered an employee. Reason? Fowler has donated 200,000 of the company money and could not pay the non-sciento what was due. idiot Fowler tried to next commit suicide by shooting upward through the roof of his mouth– dumb as a rock he survived and is doing time for 1st degree murder in Colorado. Mandatory life, we can hope he lasts 70 or 80 years with Bubba as his friend.
Its mind blowing how the cult condones financial irregularities provided the money ripped off is coming to THEM.
And WISE claims to have as its purpose keeping the business community’s ETHICS in.
I used to receive comm from WISE telling me not to do business with someone or another, “warning” me not to “trust” this or that person because of “financial irregularities” and ” a refusal to renew their WISE membership”…huh? These were people I didn’t know, businesses all across the US. Like me, they were WISE members, or had been
One time I called WISE and told an exec there, “You’re sending many of these warnings out saying not to do business with this person or that but you don’t give any specifics – what did this person actually DO?”
The answer? “Well, we can’t give specifics because if we did we might get sued.”
People, I swear to God, that is what I was told by a WISE Exec.
Then, I asked, “So, if someone refuses to renew their membership in WISE, that makes them de-facto out ethics in business?”
Answer: Not really an answer but another question: “Well, if they were ethical and not doing anything wrong, why would they not renew their membership?”
I let that one sink in for a while. Circular logic. I was talking to an idiot.
Oh, and then, added to that, from the exec, “Why? Don’t you trust WISE to know who is operating their business in an ethical manner?”
To myself I thought, “Um, no”.
And gave fervent thanks that my business did not and would never depend on Scientology in any way.
Why indeed! Wise up, clams…WISE is just not a good group to be hooked up with. They’re just the cult’s remote reach-around agents, there to milk you for all you’re worth, then demand more.
I saw one poor chap who has to make amends and go through conditions because he refused to lend money to his friend who was intended to spend them on courses.
I am confused – I was trying to follow the really long one that was just posted but the frames were a bit out of order. Not sure if this one is new or part of that?
I think the long one was a glitch in the system, while the new one was being put up. I’ve seen that before – you just refresh your browser a few times or check back later and the real one arrives pretty soon.
Sometimes happens to me. Did today, too. When the frames look jumbled like that, it’s some weird WordPress bug in the email link. Just go to the top of the page, click “home,” and then click the link to the RB post.
“Scientology Ethics”, Best example of an an oxymoron I can think of. SCN “justice” would be a close second; Neither has any relationship to right or wrong, only what benefits Scientology’s leaders’ short-sighted goal-of-the-moment
RB – another great one. My friend got ripped off by another and got nowhere with WISE up to IJC. Yup, you got it, scientology “justice” at its best. When you join up you give up all your legal rights.
RB, that’s how it comes down. One error though. WISE does mediations not arbitrations.
They stopped arbitrations in the early 2000s. There is a big difference.
Not really. In the old arbitration system there were some well trained arbitrators. And in an arbitration the arbitrator makes the final decision. And there were many cases where the arbitrator was just.
In a mediation the mediator does not make the decision. The outcome is based on a compromise which opens the door for the criminal element to get away with crimes. Mediations are much worse. I’ve seen both. And like Scientology itself the WISE mediation service is worse than the old arbitrations.
