Very deliberately so, L. Ron Hubbard DOES NOT ever explain, how Perception works.
He, like any Sociopath, does not want to be Perceived.
And he goes very, very far in this – being ‘the Sociopath of all Sociopaths,’ if you like:
You might say, with some broader understanding of the subject and its procedures, that the whole of Scientology is an exercise, a course of training and therapy, that PREVENTS Perception of Hubbard.
Even its ‘Correction Lists’ to “correct therapy errors,” OMITS any hint, that you failed to Perceive the harmful effects, on your spiritual (and thus physical) well-being, caused by NOT Perceiving Hubbard.
Debbie Cook, the ‘Captain’ of the top Scientology therapy outfit in Clearwater, was ‘fighting for (the) “Freedom”
to adamantly HIDE – “for the benefit of all Scientologists and of Mankind” – the despicable nature and spiritual depravity of L. Ron Hubbard.
But criticizing her superiors, for not ‘being of pure doctrine,’ got her booted out. Now she “researches” Fibromyalgia – suffering from the same LACK of Perception of its cause.
A Sociopath – obviously – does not want Perception of his intentions and nature, and of him being the cause of the harm he causes.
So it is a very legitimate target for them, to prevent or confuse an understanding of how Perception functions.
But people want to Perceive, of course, in order to enjoy life, and also to be able to defend themselves from Sociopaths like Hubbard, etc.
So Sociopaths invent all kinds of strange concepts, in order – by science or by esoterics – to HIDE how Perception simply functions.
“Exterior Perception” “Interiorized into the body,” “Remote Viewing,” “Cold Reading,” etc., etc. – as if Perception is something extraordinarily difficult and “can’t be understood.”
You do probably take your photon Perception from some location in your eyes and nervous system – HOWEVER, at the same time, you sense FAR MORE than the photons could ever contain, in feelings about what or whom you look at, and their condition and intentions.
(In this case, to Perceive the nature and intentions of L. Ron Hubbard – which admittedly are not at all pleasant to sense, to put it mildly.
So people rather choose to accept his pretenses, as “what is true for you.”)
Hubbard said so many things, and because of being a Flag Course Sup, I thought per the Sup’s Code, I had the responsibility to know ALL these stupid Hubbard things, to “help” a student with just the right Hubbard nugget of nonsense to keep them playing along like fully informed cult Scientologists.
The one nugget that unfortunately came up from the last panel, is an adjacent similar thing to laying on “static” definition on a student, and “thetan” definition, and “theta”, and “theta clear” and “Operating Thetan”, when you get into an hour long word chain on the above, and delve into then quotes not even in the Tech Dictionary, you can actually “key out” a student. It’s one of the thousands of repeatable “word chains” to run a student through, but you have to be one on one with them, and really press them to get all the definitions.
It’s about as good as Scientology gets, similar to the final panel husband’s statement. You can always get some of the followers to “key out” by just going over “static” and “awareness of awareness unit” and the rest, and “Operating Thetans” and “theta clear” too.
The Axions, are fairly okay, not guaranteed to get the student to “cognite.”
A deeper deeper “cog” you can “fish” out of someone, and harder, since it takes a whole deeper level of meditative thought, is “Factor” number 1. “In the beginning……” If you really get the person to really grok the “in the beginning….” and the rest of Factor 1, it should be life changing.
But not many get it. If fact most do not. But “being” as a secondary event to “in the beginning” is right up the alley of what Buddhists meditate at their highest levels, to arrive at that highest state of awareness, it’s a pre-awareness “state” pre-being. Not easily grokked.
Anyways, the above today thoughts, due to this excellent series of “funnies” here, always enjoy them deeply, and they do have some “deep” adjacent important implications and realities.
(I’m studying Bhikkhu Bodhi’s lectures, and his is a serious course in the Buddhist “Dhamma”, which I find a much more easily experienced, just a whole better approach to “enlightenment” than the Hubbard mental pictures/implants/body-thetans crap…..AND Buddhism highest enlightenment teachings/advice, is free on the internet!)
Final “similar” Hubbard nugget “tip” to the “static” word chain (it has to be done one on one by someone first who really gets how it “all” fits together, if the Hubbard Time Track Bulletin 1, the “Home Universe” section, which then ties into OT 8, which ties all the way back into “One Was Stubborn” fiction story by LRH.
Almost no one has gotten this connection, in all my decades in the cult, I’ve yet to have anyone follow the tie ins above. But if you work out this, with a word clearer, who walks you through the definitions of
static
operating thetan
Home Universe
No Games Condition
Native State
Serenity of Beingness
Factor number 1
One Was Stubborn
and you are guided into fishing a cog out of you about the whole of these, AND if you knew of the “Jhanna” meditation states, and listen to a really good number of Bhikkhu Bodhi’s lectures on how top Buddhists meditate themselves through the “Jhanna” steps into final enlightenment, you can see how Hubbard’s words touched upon the area, but also where Hubbard obviously never studied and understood Buddhism.
But, modern “seeker” young people, who someday wish to delve into the area, all the info is free on the internet now to delve through.
You can walk up the gangway of the Freewinds but when you leave, you may well be carried off in a body bag.
I make this statement based on personal experience..
Hubbard doesn’t go there to the “let it all go, and expect you will still be you”. Hubbard still lets us be a thetan, a static that interacts with the universe and has havingness and prospers, etc, etc.
The “One Was Stubborn” theme in a way foreshadows how deep Hubbard was going with the Scientology karma alleviation pseudo-therapy/exorcism Hubbard laid out with the Hubbard menu “Bridge to Total Freedom”.
Hubbard in LRH ED 339R writing mentions bringing the whole universe back to native state, that is pretty much what the guru in “One Was Stubborn” did, the guru in “One Was Stubborn” got all earthlings to as-is the physical universe, bringing them to the static state able to each go off and start their own “Home Universes” (as in Time Track Bulletin 1).
Very much never mentioned, is this whole discussion above, of what Hubbard thought he was doing with his “serious subject” (as he called his Scientology writings and corpus). He thought Scientology’s quackery would eventually, up the Bridge past where his menu went, would get a person back to Native State, that state the earthlings arrive at with the help of the guru in One Was Stubborn.
I think they should take all those WTH booklets that no one reads and burn them to boil the water in their saunas so they can do the Pewtrification Rundown at no cost.
It would be the only good use for those booklets that I have ever imagined.

Very delicate situation with the success story requirements. I suspect they’re both going to be out a LOT of money soon, no matter what he does.
