This shit is just absolutely sick. I could read these comic strips all day long. As for Tom Cruise … I made a decision years ago I’d never watch anything that POS is in. 100 percent Total Tom Cruise boycott.
In SCN, the 2D is just a distraction from stats, so is minimized and suppressed whwnever possible. My favorite part of putting Flag in the rearview mirrors was being able to have the 1st and 2nd Dynamics without feeling guilty, just as it’d been before…. They pay lip service to 1 and 2, but IRL, they’re only there to serve the 3rd. And they only see the 4th through 8th as a “someday, maybe” after the 3rd gets into Power condition for some years and takes over the world, if not this sector of the guLAX-y.
You may be correct. The problem may well be a world that allows Scientology to get away with demonic evil. But in the alternative, the problem may well be a handful of psycopathic criminals who will go to any lengths – who will do great harm to anyone and everyone – just to make themselves feel big and powerful because they suffer from some of the natural disadvantages that all of us must face.
I’m referring to disadvantages like “Short man’s syndrome” also known as a “Napoleonic Complex” where a tiny man feels they must cause great harm and abuse to others in order to make themselves seem to be important. These people are happy to destroy the entire world just to prove to themselves they are really as good as anyone else.
In truth, they are criminal psychopaths who care nothing about anyone else. They enjoy doing great harm to other people and other families. Just for a tiny bit of delusional recolection.
Think of people like Hitler and Stalin. They are typical examples of these kinds of psychopathic personalities.
Yes, the “world” lets Scientology ‘get away with it’; Actually it’s the free societies that allow folks the freedom to make fools out of themselves, that make the rights of free speech and peaceful assembly the supreme laws of the land. No one has a problem with that as long as “they” are doing what others agree with. The tough job is defending those things with which we disagree. Doing so is a true test of their being the primary rights granted to most of us.
AND in the same manner, those who disagree with others’ ACTIONS have an absolute right to make their grievances known. Scientology, if it had any real strength or validity, could comfortably allow others the rights they so blatantly misuse, but they’re cowards who have been taken in by a master conman and must frantically defend techniques that don’t accomplish anything what they’re supposed to; Quite the opposite, in fact. If the “Tech” actually WORKED, we wouldn’t be here.
We can & should “noisily investigate” Scientology’s crimes, exposing the truth for the world to see. Watch THAT”shatter” suppression as a result. Aftermath is doing a wonderful job of showing the con for what it is. All the “ASC” sites on the Interweb are creating more “noise” than the poor sods can combat. If nothing else, we’ve proved that the upper levels are NOT dangerous when read by the ‘wrong’ people; they’re great jokes.. There’s no longer any secret knowledge, it’s no secret that there has not been and never will be any ‘Clears’, and that OT superpowerz don’t exist. The cult is finding it tougher and tougher to scare up new marks anywhere where Google is available
And the diffuse nature of the ASC efforts makes their ancient defensive tricks ineffective. Tubby never envisioned freedom such as the world has these days. Even in areas which WERE behind the Iron Curtain and other heavily repressed countries, Scientology’s doing an ANTI-“flourish & prosper”;NOT GOING ANYWHERE but down the bankruptcy drain.
With DM sitting in the catbird seat, having destroyed what had been minimally successful, Scientology is dead, and we’re just watching its slow-motion death throes.
I tend to agree with you Floofgoofer. But that world can only exist if ‘we the people’ choose to do nothing. Remaining silent when faced with a threat compounds the problem. So each day I try to mention (enlighten) one more person to the very real atrocities being committed by the cult.
Yesterday I saw one of my daughters high school friends and we got caught up. The girl works for the local paper as a photographer and asked what Haley was doing. So I told her that she was working for the cherch of $cientology and I had not seen her in over five years and that she had cut all communication with her parents, grandparents, etc.and I had no idea about her life. I simply told her the truth about the cherch.
She was of course appalled. Now she will be watching the new season of Aftermath and spreading the word. That is all we need to do. Speak up, encourage others to tell their own truths and do not rely on the government to do the hard work of creating a safe world to live in. It really is our job.
Yo Dave,
yep …… we are commin fer ya sleaseball. Better gear up cause it’s gonna get ugly inside the cult, especially around You and yer fetid little clusterfuck space.
Dwarfenführer’s paranoia, and that early practice of covering Tubby’s ass leaves DM in an even tighter bubble than the rank-and file. To get to him, the authorities first have to get through the cordon of high-priced and practiced lawyers, then through the intentionally tangled web of interlocking corporations AND find properly knowledgeable exes willing to go on the record legally.
“Aftermath”, and now the Aftermath Foundation are helping make it safer for those key people to step forward.
Ah yes… the gobbly gook of Scientology. I do have an admission to make that I can unfortunately follow it. But that is Scientology “think” & that is the damage it causes to people’s lives – they are insane!
I doubt it. He’d have abused them, too. A sociopathic narcissist with all the privileges isn’t going to allow younger competitors, even those carrying on his DNA. He’d grind ’em up in the Sea Org, just like other people’s kids. He’d figure out how to best use them to improve his stats. Although I’m not qualified to diagnose personality disorders, the way I identify narcissists for my own information is, “Are they willing to sacrifice the welfare of children, even their own, for the sake of their beloved image?” Davie shows all the signs of that ruthless willingness and no sign at all of compassion or understanding for the most vulnerable.
It takes a special kind of asshole to be what he is. Natural life impulses don’t fit in his agenda, disappearing Shelly is a good example of his compassion for life & look at what the rest of his family think of him. He needs a good old fashioned lesson in justice and he knows there are countless names on that waiting list. So, he hides, just like his boss did.
I think it more likely that DM cannot conceive (pun!) of sharing him magnificent self with a tyke. He is, after all and foremost dedicated to himself, and ‘does not share power’.
I got tired, while in Scientology, reminding them that: If Scientology is all about the ‘spirit’ what the hell are you doing to tell me what to eat (or not), what drugs to take (or not), who to associate with (or not) , where my money should be spent (or not), who to have sex with (or not), what to do with my free time (or not), and what to think (or not).
The same applies to those religions that dictate temporal matters to their followers. Social programming is everywhere.
Spot on, Zemoo. Nasty indeed, and doomed, with their inevitable extinction guaranteed via their own self-imposed blocks on sex and childbirth. Every culture doing this sort of thing to itself has perished.. It did the Incas, Mayans and Aztecs in. The ancient Egyptian royalty could only marry their full blooded siblings which created a lot of idiots and if I’m not mistaken up until the mid 1800s the Hawaiian royals could only marry a full blooded brother or sister also and they solved the resultant idiot problem with infanticide which also handled unwanted girl babies, idiot or not.
Wow, RB, does it hurt your mind at all to go into the valence of a scientologist?
Do you ever wonder if you do it too long and too hard that you’ll slip into this oblivion forever?
We all did it ‘too long and too hard’ but someway, somehow ……….. we are all out. And now RB helps lead the charge to be sure no one falls into the oblivion of $cientology. Besides, since RB is ‘beyond clear and Oh Tea’ he is immune to the vagaries of the mind.
Now Dave on the other hand …………….being stuck in the shithole of a cult is forever doomed to his miserable trapped existence where the only thing he can call a friend has to be bought, paid for, threatened and controlled.
Yo Dave,
Howz what’s left of it hangin today good buddy? Don’t get yer knickers in a knot, I’m talkin about yer cherch.
And howz Tom doin these days? Is he goin to follow Krusty onto his Oh Tea Ate?
Newcomer – I think you might need spellcheck….? Or, maybe your mind has turned into a Thesaurus and you can’t turn it off? Or, maybe married life is just too damn cool that you can write any old way you like?
Yes it does.
Which is exactly why I don’t worry much about
getting stuck in Scientology viewpoints again.
It took me over a year of doing these cartoons before
I realized that I was mocking myself.
I still cringe every now and then after writing one of the
character’s lines and a voice inside my head laughingly
tells me, “You idiot! You used to think like that!”
Yea. I know what you mean. Mocking it and being it are two very different things but even when I said, “…in the valence of….” in my comment I had to cringe.
RB: So many of us have metaphorically kicked ourselves for believing that load of bovine-derived fertilizer.
Part of the healing process is forgiving our earlier, ignorant and trusting selves. We didn’t know any better; We’d never been told so many enticing lies before.
Sometimes I forget I was a scientologist and I read RB and I think, “this group is really, really f—ked up big time.” I don’t think exs would even look back if it wasn’t for the fact that the cult still exists and we all have some family and friends still trapped in it.
Well, Scientology is wearing down and is creating its own disintegration. Keep on truckin’
I have no family currently in, but there are a bunch of friends I wish I had current info on, whether they escaped, have learned how to live well, and so forth. I worked with some fantastic people. Their efforts were intended to do good, but the results were skewed by Tubby’s insanity. My family are all out and have done well for themselves, some now working to improve others’ lives for REAL.
