This edition of RB brings together so many themes: lies, passport confiscations, pathetic idol worship, fascist supervised living, etc. I really think it’s one of the best ever.
Okay, let me get this straight:
Her twin on the Success Through COMMUNICATION Course barely speaks English yet she twinned with him because she thinks he’s hot.
HOW IN THE FUCK DID THEY COMMUNICATE?!!!!!!!
DID THEY PASS THE COURSE?!!!!!
Time to send Paolo back to wherever he came from!
We are from Twin Cities Org. Never posted anywhere but decided to post here because Mike helped us get out of Dont.
After years of being told Scientology is expanding and never seeing it
WE LOOKED!
Of course we were dedicated Church members and are suffering now from
losing a ton of money the Library Scam for the basics ( the libraries threw them out)
High pressure cooker registrars lying to us … for the Ideal Org in St Paul – we have to have it NOW
Having so much money extorted and manipulated out of us for IAS
And
Super Power Scam
This all led up to deciding to get out of doubt
we finally decided to use the tech on Scientology and we looked at the internet.
We are now out of doubt
The steps:
Read “ What is Scientology”
Then we watched “ Going Clear”
Read Marc Headley,s book
Read Ron Miscaviges book
Read Jenna Miscavige book
Read Leah Remini book
Watched “My Scientology Movie”
Watched Jason Beghe videos
Read Mikes Blog
Read Marty Rathbuns Blog – watched him turn back into an enemy (creep)
Watched Leah’s and Mike Rinders show on A&E : Scientology; The Aftermath
Watched Aaron Levin’s videos

OMG!
So awful to learn the truth
We were deceived and tricked
Heartbreaking to discover the levels of betrayal from this Organization
It is not a Church
It is evil
No wonder COB does not want people to look
RB, I’m a never in, but extremely interested in the subject and I LOVE what you create. It makes it so much easier for a never in like me to understand what the good people here went through and what the still-ins are going through.
Speaking of TC, I think older guys who date or marry women younger than their own age cohort are missing the boat. Sure, women go through changes around age fifty, but men do, too. If a man can’t accept aging in his female partner he is lying to himself about his own travel down that same road. Youngsters are very photogenic, but they have little life experience. For me, I know those photogenic girls on TV, film or video are skinny, too skinny, in fact – the camera adds 25 pounds, maybe more. A guy could get hurt bumping against those skinny sharp elbows.
People function well with some common background – my wife and I have our great 60s public school educations, plus the Beatles, Stones, Who, Hendrix, Joplin, Moody Blues, and the Woodstock / Music Festivals / San Francisco / Vietnam War years. Oh, and the Bee Gees, Olivia Newton-John, Ann Murray, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and Disco. Somewhere around there we endured the great (noisy?) Big Hair bands and Arena Rock, family struggles, watching the kids go independent on us, making two careers, losing John Lennon, losing our parents, wondering where all the good music went, then seeing many of our favorite 60s and 70s music groups re-form with gray hair and wrinkles, and a million little things that we only shared because we were nearly the same age. TC is so pampered and sheltered; he is missing out on so much. I doubt he has a clue about what he is missing in life by chasing after the youth, never realizing it was always going to be a fleeting time. If he weren’t such a pompous ass I could almost feel sorry for him.
Ha ha ! Tom Cruise hooking up with Elizabeth Moss. In his dreams. $100 says she wouldn’t date him with a 10 foot pole, mixed metaphors intentional.
Why should she? Young, attractive, an extremely good actress – she has “her own power”, so what would she get out of an existing under Big Being #3’s micromanaging thumb, catering to his gargantuan ego, going on locations with him for Mission Impossibles 12-17 and last, but not least, being a welcoming presence each time he returns from a botox injection?
You know, I just read over this comment of mine above, and I want to add that although it may sound like I do, I have no problem at all with older men liking much younger women. In fact, my first really serious relationship, meaning I was head over heels, was when I was 18 and the man was 38. It didn’t bother me then and it doesn’t bother me now that older men go for younger women and/or vice versa. I’ve always liked older men. (The problem is that now, “older” men are really OLD men, LOL.) Two people really connecting on basic levels is ALL that matters, IMHO, and their ages be damned. Venting my spleen above was not because Cruise is an older man attracted to younger women, but because as a person I can’t stand HIM. I never liked him – even before I was a Scientologist. Something about him always turned me off, without my having much thought or attention on it.
RB – spot on again. Funny you should bring this up. EVERY time I see a picture of staff, I think how hot they must be in those lousy ugly uniforms. Part of why they all look so miserable.
Maybe since Scn is so eager to curry favor with the White House, as evidenced by their throwing that fundraiser thingy at a Trump Hotel, the Dwarf could cozy up to Ivanka and commission her Taiwanese designers to dream up some attractive and breathable SO uniforms as even her overpriced polyester crap made in Bangladesh would be superior to what Ogres are sporting now.
??The Dominican republic is a sorce for IAS whales??? That’s a seriously depressed and depressing country. AFAICT, the ones doing wewll have an ancient 100 c.c. motorcycle to get around even in the rain. on one east-west road, I couldn’t see but 100 yards for the 2-stroke smoke blowing back from them.
Not sure what the Clintons own now in DR, Val. I had read that the Clinton Foundation either donated (bought? invested? Not sure how these things work) in Haiti though, which, as depressed and seriously bad off as one finds the Dominican Republic, is still head and shoulders in every way better off than utterly devastated Haiti.
Even relatively poor countries always have at least a few wealthy “whales” of their own, as part of a very unequal economic and social structure. Elites like that may in fact be a sort of good fit for Scientology, which seems to be increasingly adopting a kind of caste system of its own; Scientology’s statuses allow them to use their money to simply buy into something American that might seem prestigious to outsiders, and which still carries some cachet from its Hollywood connections, especially in places where its scandals aren’t so well known.
Also, Hubbard’s fascist tendencies seem to have left him with a fondness for Latin American strongmen like Bolivar (at least as Hubbard imagined him and his consort in Responsibilities of Leaders) and the Venezuelan dictator who supposedly eradicated leprosy by exterminating all the beggars. Those attitudes were impressed on Scientology, so the the Hispanic cultural bent towards authoritarianism fits with Hubbard’s grandiosity and Scientology’s totalitarianism.
Yes,Donald, listen up! You’re not the first leader to discover how complicated health care is, Get your hands on the correct reference wherein LRH details how a strong Venezuelan leader, a real man, got rid of not only all the beggars but all of the lepers too, in his country.. Brilliantly, he deduced that they were one and the same and so without thinking too much about it, he rounded ’em all up and put ’em on a boat and drowned up. Pretty good, eh? Simple, fast, effective. You might want to try this with all the sick people on Medicaid in this country. Read the reference first, though, and make sure you have no misunderstood words. DC Org will be glad to help!
Miserable and fucked up–exactly how I would describe some of the people still in. I have known this for a while, but they keep upping their fucked-up-ness to levels beyond what I ever thought possible. And completely blind to all reality.
RB, I know (as in: presume) you get inside scoop for fodder for you comic strip. So, I am wondering if “Diana,” who steals cigs and deodorant during berthing searches, is based on a real person. Because if so, that’s the last straw for me. I’m never going to join the Sea Org. I want a stinky mouth and rosy pits, not the other way around.
Like I really want that guy’s suit The neon green would go nicely with my spiffy, $35K “make me happy” jacket, that way I could hook-up with hotties like Eva Braun…

Hi VIkings!
Welcome out!
I’d estimate about 90% (or even more) from those who were in are out.
And a lot of them speak out about the abuses. See the list at
http://whyweprotest.wikia.com/wiki/Former_Church_of_Scientology_members_who_have_spoken_out
(Of course it’s perfectly fine if you don’t feel like doing so.)
From there you can easily go to e.g. the list of books about Scientology.
There’s a wealth of information out there, and a lot of it is for free – unlike Scientology 🙂

Congratulations, Vikings! Great to have you here! And very well done on completing OUR Basics, btw. 🙂

Well, I hope the two scarf-wearing sea-org slaves get to see that newest Cruise movie soon.
Straight to DVD after being pulled from theaters is what I am hoping.
Do NOT support Tom Cruise, or any other celebrity scientologist. Only if he abandons scientology will I ever go see a Cruise film again.
