My friend’s daughter minored in Spanish in college and says she occasionally dreams in Spanish. Dreaming in Sciospeak could be frightening. A lot of Sciospeak is Hubbard renaming observations of human behavior and mental activity so once the concept is learned it’s not unusual that the terminology sticks.
Alanzo once posted a topic called “How to stop thinking and feeling with Scientology” and even suggested a “process” on how to do it. Essentially is was becoming aware of scn terminology coming to mind and replacing it with King’s English.
Somewhere in scn I think I came across the idea that if you have a bad dream you can “end cycle” on it by thinking or saying “Cancelled!”. In another practice I once investigated it was suggested that dreams are just the mind dumping garbage. Creative dreaming might work for some people. Calmag with apple cider vinegar would be an “unusual solution” for a bad dream.
Thanks RB,
Good one.
Unfortunately I know a lot of people like you describe.
Most of them probably secretly think that the tech of course worked just not on them.As someone who was now supposedly superior because I had paid for and done an OTVIII, been there done that.
Just like they think that scientology is doing great everywhere especially Colombia just not in their own org or mission.
That’s the trick, isn’t it? They aren’t allowed to discuss their case with others or they might find out it doesn’t work for anyone!
Instead they just think there’s something wrong with them. But it they just pay a little more and work a little harder, they’ll pick it up in the next course. Or maybe the 13th time Davey makes them repeat a course, they’ll pick it up there.

You’re taking the cluster down to basic mutual incident and blowing it, so then it is gone anyway. But you may have to get off the evil intention if it doesn’t just come flying off. The cluster could be held together by a mutual idea or evil intention received during an implant or heavy engram. In one instance an R/Sing cluster was listed for its evil intention, which successfully blew the cluster apart, and this could be done, but usually won’t have to be resorted to. More commonly when handling a cluster, an R/Sing cluster, you can run into the phenomenon of evil intentions coming off voluntarily, and you will see a list starting up in the worksheets. That can happen, and an auditor should be able to recognize when a pc is listing and handle it as a list. XDN actually applies. Never-in here, reading and watching everything I could for the last couple of years – and I still don’t have a handle on the plethora of acronyms or the convoluted jargon. It certainly reminds me of Orwell’s “Newspeak” only far worse and far more convoluted. Even when all the well-meaning exes like yourself post here, they sometimes throw the jargon and acronyms around (unintentionally of course) and I’m quickly lost (which doesn’t take much these days).

I remember ML from ’77. It’s on my recruiters scathing letter to me when I took a couple month trip to Alaska before joining SO. How about RA didn’t DM start that one?
I totally cannot get Scn nomenclature out of my head or in my speaking, even after 38 years. But I am apparently not alone with that affliction, eh guys?
It’s gone from mine, because for about 25 years, I made a concerted effort to act as though I had never heard of scientology until they started stalking me to try to “recover” me, so I had to act like people in the real world.
The funny thing (are you listening scientology: Until scientology decided they HAD to have me back, I still believed in scientology and LRH. After they started stalking me, I read “Piece of Blue Sky” and “Bare Faced Messiah” and well, yeah after you read either or both of those, and actually understand that you are not a “superior being” but an amazingly duped being, you can begin your road to discovery.
Frighteningly, though, I still understand the stupid manufactured foreign language built to separate the people from the real world. Now I just laugh when I hear it spoken.
Fortunately for me, I was coming out of a heavily indoctrinated Christian church. The manipulation Hubbard was using resonated with my past experiences and set off alarm bells in my head.
My public school district was heavy into several pamphlets and programs, that now I know were Scientology fronts.
Unfortunately, once Tubby is in your skull, completely eradicating him is nigh on impossible.
Kyle you said it! The fact is some are “Raised to Obey Without Question” the authoritarian figure….as in some very strict religions who keep the “flock” under educated & sequestered from the outside world which will “harm them”. Even the women are under their control to be used as their personal servants to do their bidding & not allowed to work outside the home to earn their own income & also used as a provider of sexual favors & children like a brood mare. No one dares confront the “authoritarian figure” for fear of being disconnected/shunned or tossed out…..without money, clothing, food, or at it’s worst even the family.
I just view it as a useless second language. Although, one can use it to talk to the still in’s.
It’s sort of like in 20 years probably us old timers who speak of camshafts, push rods, crankshafts, piston rings, etc will be a foreign language to the new upcoming electric cars on the roads. The new and newer gen will not have a clue what we speak of as life and technology moves forward.
Soon will be the hubbard dianetics scientology language forgotten, if fact they are being buried deep in the vaults at CST, thank you as that is where all of hubbard’s crap should be buried.

It is truly a wonder that anyone remains in Scientology. ” which goes to show …. I can get out of Scientology but I can’t necessarily get the Scientology out of me”
SO true! I’M STILL catching myself thinking the “scn way”, blaming the victims for “pulling it in” and similar. just watched “king of queens” for the first time lately because I could NEVER watch a show about ‘queens’ 😉 NOW, I’m unlikely to watch it because it’s New Yorkers being oh, so full of themselves. After living and working on Manhatten, including studying at NY org —HSDC & levels 0- IV—, New Yorkers are just too annoying; so parochial, so dismissive of anyone who isn’t in their little sad club. That’s another cult I’m glad to be away from.
“Thank you. I am so happy to be finished with this level. I never have to go to another mandatory briefing which we all know are onerous attempts to get more money. I don’t have to be told to do one more course or Basic Book. I don’t have to answer one more sec check question. I don’t have to go Clear – AGAIN. I don’t have to sit in front of another MAA who will tell me whether or not I am good enough to qualify for something in scientology. I will never have to sit in front of another reg or IAS rep. I will never have to hold the cans AGAIN!!!! I AM FREE!!!”
This was my win on OT VIII. Alas, what I didn’t know is that the church and its reps weren’t done with me and would not leave me the hell alone. So, here I am without my son, declared SP and so HAPPY TO BE FREE OF THIS “CHURCH!”
“I will never have to go to another mandatory briefing, …. I will never have to hold the cans AGAIN!”
Mary, we don’t know each other but I absolutley adore you. I think you are a strong woman who comes across as genuine and loving and I hate that your son is lost in his mind. You only get one mother and to throw that away because your “religion” tells you to is just disgusting. We are all rooting for you and all the others who haven’t seen their kids and I just wanted you to know that.
I so agree. Mary’s story on Aftermath tugged hard at my heartstrings. I have a son I am close to and adore, and I can’t bear the thought of what Mary has been through with her Sammy. I pray they are reunited–and Mike and his kids too. Everyone. Disconnection is ***The Most Horrible Offense*** perpetrated by the cult, imho.
I will never ever again listen to another round of buttons on a stupid sec check question.
…
When I walked out of Flag for the last time, I knew I would never ever go back and that all of scn was done for me. I was 100 percent done forever – I didn’t know how things would go, how I’d survive under the radar, how I could recover from the grueling two year mind-fuck I’d just been through, … I knew pretty much nothing.
Except….
I was DONE.
…..
and then I found this little corner of voices and friends, who help me figure it out.
Mary, I couldn’t have said it better. I never use the term “Church” when describing Scientology. It’s an insult to all who are out. I’m going to call it as I see it: A viscous, evil, militant, CULT. Say it along with me, It’s a fucking CULT. With no redeeming values. NONE.
After I finished OT VIII in 1988, I was “ordered” to return to Flag and repeat OT VII. No way. That was the end. Repetition of any course or level in Scientology proves its false assumptions.
OK, thank you, I understand. Just wondering what happened to her and what she is doing today. She has probably left the cult since her last service was in November 2002 according to the web site truthaboutscientology.
I am so happy you are out! And like Mike I just adore you. I really hope and totally believe your son will eventually have to see the light of the truth. I think about you and others that have been affected by disconnection every single day. ?
Mary, yesterday I watched “your” episode of “the aftermath” again.shed a tear or two, again.not ashamed to admit,’cause your story, for some reason, hits me right where it hurts.that cult stole almost everything you had, that was worth something.they stole your boy.they stole your youth.almost ruined your marriage.not to mention all the money..but they couldn’t break your spirit, your will.I cheered when you spoke of refusing to hold the cans.I cheered ‘cause you found your strength.you are one tough lady.I hope so so much that Sammy wakes up and runs back into your arms, where he belongs.I sincerely wish all the best for you and your loved ones.
Mary. ..we don’t know each other but i have to say you are one of the bravest women. .my heart went out to you watching Aftermath last year…
God bless you always. .i hope in the end you and ur son are reunited..xoxo
Mary, I didn’t watch that episode again, but the memory of you telling your story stays with me. So much suffering! I’m glad you survived and I’m glad you’re sharing here on Mike’s site. God bless you.
OMG! RB once again hits the nail right on the head with his brilliantly ironic comedy. I love that first square…with the speech in it. That is actually true for so many people. LOL Well done RB!

After living and working on Manhatten, including studying at NY org —HSDC & levels 0- IV—, New Yorkers are just too annoying; so parochial, so dismissive of anyone who isn’t in their little sad club. That’s another cult I’m glad to be away from.

Here’s my win after finishing OT VIII.
MIke says
Mary, we don’t know each other but I absolutley adore you. I think you are a strong woman who comes across as genuine and loving and I hate that your son is lost in his mind. You only get one mother and to throw that away because your “religion” tells you to is just disgusting. We are all rooting for you and all the others who haven’t seen their kids and I just wanted you to know that.
Mary Kahn says
Thank you very much. I appreciate that.
Miss Q says
KatherineINCali says
Miss Q —
Absolutely agree. Their other most horrific offense is physical and sexual child abuse, which they’ve covered up time and time again.
Unconscionable, filthy bastards. Makes me mad as hell.
Aquamarine says
Amen to all you said to Mary, MIKE.
Rip Van Winkle says
I’m so there with you.
I will never hold the cans again.
Never ever ever.

NONE.
georgemwhite says
After I finished OT VIII in 1988, I was “ordered” to return to Flag and repeat OT VII. No way. That was the end. Repetition of any course or level in Scientology proves its false assumptions.
Stefan says
30 years “jubilee”! Do you by any chance know of Lisa Malmquist whom I think did that level in September -88?
georgemwhite says
I do remember a Lisa but never got a formal introduction. I have some pictures which I am reluctant to release due to privacy.
Stefan says
OK, thank you, I understand. Just wondering what happened to her and what she is doing today. She has probably left the cult since her last service was in November 2002 according to the web site truthaboutscientology.
Old Surfer Dude says
Whoa! There’s that freaky manikin again! I’m going to lock myself in my room.
georgemwhite says
Will you come out if I change it?
Old Surfer Dude says
Well…ok.
Newcomer says
And, we can tell tell Dave and his merry band of hucksters to stick it where the sun does not shine.
Mary Kahn says
…and in every other orifice that’s clogged with his toxic waste, which I guess would be all of them.
Valerie says
I’m thinking this is why all the mandatory sec checks on VII. The EP of VIII more and more seems to be BUHbye.
Ann Davis says
I am so happy you are out! And like Mike I just adore you. I really hope and totally believe your son will eventually have to see the light of the truth. I think about you and others that have been affected by disconnection every single day. ?
Mary Kahn says
Thank you Ann. It is people like you who will make it stop.
DPL says

Mary Kahn says
? Thank you Shirley?
bixntram says
Mary, I didn’t watch that episode again, but the memory of you telling your story stays with me. So much suffering! I’m glad you survived and I’m glad you’re sharing here on Mike’s site. God bless you.
Stefani Hutchison says
Mary, I wrote this for you and all who have escaped.
The Spark
The scam that is Scientology
With it’s policy of deep deceit
Uses hate for it’s methodology
Which will ultimately bring its defeat.
The people within who are searching for truth
With good hearts have been led far astray
Kept in the dark from their earliest youth
And told what to think and to say.
The smallest, most humble are guided by fear
Their darkness, the darkest of all
Lost and alone, anger all that they hear
No softness or love hears their call.
But life cannot thrive in a surfeit of lies
What’s hidden eventually comes out
One small spark of light begins opening eyes
And a whisper becomes a great shout.
No more can this cult continue in hiding
When so many are speaking the truth
Brave voices providing, despite the cruel chiding
Setting free an abundance of proof.
Light grows ever brighter consuming the dark
Laying bare ugly cruelties quite savage
A new day is dawning, The Aftermath’s spark
Brings an end to the violent Miscavige.
Cindy says
Loved your poem, Stefani! Thanks for this.
Mary Kahn says
Wow! Thank you Stephani. ✨?✨Beautifully written. You really do understand. Truth and light do win.
MIke says
That dude looks a lot like John Alex Wood LOL
DPL says
just my thought.
Old Surfer Dude says
You have thoughts? I lost all mine.

OMG! RB once again hits the nail right on the head with his brilliantly ironic comedy. I love that first square…with the speech in it. That is actually true for so many people. LOL Well done RB!
SarahDB says
Love the cognitive dissonance, active church members should probably listen to what their subconscious is saying in their dreams!
