“Loaded Language” used in the Scientology to trap you in your own mind. Why would they remove that tool that traps the sheeple nice and tightly?
They removed it because they’ve made a new dictionary, the same way they’ve removed the tech volumes after GAT 2 because they’ve rewritten it all and don’t want people to know what they’ve changed.
And they can used the new material to trap them just as tightly.

Once again, RB gives us profound insight into the toughness, brilliance, compassion, and spiritual depth of the Homo Novus Wankers and their famous leader, Dave ” I wanna talk mad shit like Tony Muhammad ” Missedcabbage.🤗 The planet-and this sector of the galaxy-will be cleared in no time!
Never having been in the SO, I wonder if the current crew can remotely understand their own arrogance? Of course, Hubbard had his own staggering arrogance and holier-than-thou attitude to virtually anyone else in the world, living or dead. Deeply within, he must have been a very terrified individual. “They’re all out to get me” appears to have been his mantra. :)s
” I wonder if the current crew can remotely understand their own arrogance? ”
Long answer …….. No!
My daughter is now about 20+ years in the SO and 37 years old. Her grandmother will be 98 years old in a couple weeks. She is in great health, takes no meds, needs no assistance other than she does not drive, was one of the first 70 women to join the Waves when WWII began and spent her life in education as a grammar school teacher. She can discuss the politics, religion or any other current event with ease and keeps her own council …… as she always has.
Her granddaughter cut off all communication with her about 7 or 8 years ago when she began asking difficult questions about her life and what she does working for ‘the cherch’. My Mom totally understands what has happened to her Granddaughter and knows why she chooses to remain out of communication. Her recent comment:
” She knows we are here if she needs to talk. It would be nice to see her but I think she is in such fear that she cannot consider any alternative.”
Let’s hope that somehow she can overcome the false arrogance that the cult fosters to maintain control over the sheeple. Sadly, at 37 years old her only skills are related to being in the CMO as an ethics officer. Lots of practice being arrogant and telling others how to save the planet. Sheesch!!!!
Coop, Yes, not much demand for young, arrogant Hitler type ethics officers in the real world. But I hope that one day she wakes you and you get that call.
What I find truly heartbreaking is that one “they” are gone…they are gone for good. These will never see grandmother/grandfather/mother/father/siblings/cousins/Aunt & Uncles etc again on the face of the Earth.
As my then 95 year old Grandmother said before she died when her daughter (my Aunt, my mom’s younger sister) asked her about “reincarnation” (which my aunt believed in) My Grandmother flat out stated:
“Dead is dead, it’s a one way ticket…you do NOT GET to come back in ANY format”…
So much for the thought or promise of a brand spanking new “meat body”….it’s never going to happen. Maybe THAT is why their view on DISCONNECTION is so damned EASY for them….in the realm & belief of COS they will ALWAYS have a new mom/dad/grandmother/grandfather/sibling…so WHY be close to those who DO NOT BELIEVE IN COS.
So sad for those family members who are in and either by their OWN choice, OR in following the REQUIRED Tenets of COS refuse to be in contact with the relatives……
We as “WOGS, never ins or those who escaped/quit/left…..know the joy of relationships & how dear and precious they are.
That’s why I like RB’s focus on second generation staff.
People like Mike’s brother is forever lost and I think CF work is a very humane solution.
Most of us who were disconnected from have a son or daughter in the cult.I plan to make a collage of SO staff dudes and galls and send it somehow to me son.Joke is he could not disagree since he and his friends are quoted.
It truly does break my heart when I think of you, Mary Kahn, Mike Rinder and so many others who have adult children who remain loyal to the cult. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years pass by as you patiently & hopefully wait for that knock on the door or phone call or Email….come get me…IF ONLY IT WOULD COME.
Words spoke by any of us fall upon deaf ears….they are so indoctrinated to “the cause” that until they themselves wake up and realize “WTF AM I doing HERE”….and see the light of day, there is no hope of reeling them back to reality.
For the one young woman from FLDS we (Social Services) tried to help….she could NOT deal with the outside world (with no education, work skills except for house cleaning, baking bread, tending to children)….she truly missed her mother & siblings….FLDS had filled her head with terror & extreme eternal damnation IF you were to leave. When she arrived back at her mother’s home…the “God Squad” whisked her away “to repent for her crime” out of state & within months we learned she was married off to an old man & pregnant.
GUILT & FEAR are extreme motivators to remain on the inside where they think they are SAFE from the Evils of the outside world. THEY can’t “clear the planet” if they leave because the planet would be doomed so all is gone…there would ne no humanity IF they leave & it would be all their fault.
The older folks have NOTHING ELSE…they are broke, no retirement fund, health insurance, when they are useless they are tossed aside for the government to take care of…time & time again it happens & STILL the FEAR overwhelmed common sense.
I have plenty of glue sticks…if you want any help putting together that collage…..
You might think its guilt and fear which keep the young ones in.(“young” as opposed to most of the Scientologists who are in their 60s and 70s now).
You might be right when it comes to some of them fearing to leave because they’re afraid of the outside world.
Based on my own personal experience with Sea Org youngsters, I would for the most part disagree. Rather than guilt and fear keeping them in, from my experience with these smug brats I believe what keeps them in the their total certainty on the own superiority to just about everyone else in the universe.
No, I’m not being funny.
When I was in I liked the staff of my org. I considered them good, sincere, hardworking people.
The Sea Org people were another story. They were all pretty arrogant and know it all and smug, but the young ones took the cake for obnoxiousness. There was a very rigid, bad energy coming out of all of them – the young ones in the SO. They really believed they were superior beings. Oh, did they get on my nerves and I used to take no small pleasure in sparring with them in a way for which I could not be KR’d. WASP style. Polite on the outside, refrigerator cold on the inside.
Again, the Cl V staff I considered well meaning, sincere, helpful and unappreciated by the Sea Org, their seniors. I’d go out of my way to not give an SO a stat – say, like buying the inevitable new release at an event – and instead, letting a staff member sell it to me.
At the time, and for all the time I was in, I didn’t know how abused the SO members were by THEIR seniors and by each other. I didn’t find out about this until after I left and started reading all the ex-SO stories. When I was in I just considered them ( most of them, not all, there were a few kind, in-comm Sea Org that I met over the years) obnoxious people, to be avoided whenever possible, and I also believed that in order to QUALIFY for the Sea Org, one needed to have that time of personality that I found so off-putting.
Aqua – Interesting comment. In my 1970’s scn experience there was little to no physical sea org presence in the outer orgs and missions. What a pain in the ass working around those jokers. I guess it became the new normal over time.
I hear you, Richard. Life must have been a beautiful song without these pests in the orgs, upsetting the staff and generally everything and everybody.
I recall a young girl, a Cl V staff member who at that time was 14 or 15 years old, who was a part time course supervisor evenings and weekends. She attended high school Monday thru Friday and she was my course supervisor evenings and weekends. She had told me she was planning on joining the Sea Org when she turned 18.
I didn’t get along with this girl. She hadn’t jointed the SO yet but she had that particular Sea Org “personality” that I loathed. Smug, know it all – you get the idea. So I didn’t like her, and her Regular Army, drill sarge manner and habits. The way she mustered us, making us do Chinese School. Did n’t like her at all and clashed with her a number of times back in those days. it wasn’t what she was telling me to do, it was the WAY she was telling me…you get the idea.
But while I didn’t like her, I admired her.
She was just a kid, going to high school Monday thru Friday, full time, and then working Monday thru Friday evenings 7PM -10PM and ALL day Saturday ane All day Sunday! Running a Foundation Academy Course room which back then had about 25 or so students. Plus she had a commute to and from the org. No days off. This was no small thing for someone of any age, and she was 14. Yes, I respected and admired her and tried to keep my sarcastic temper in check in reaction to her manner – not always successfully, but I tried. I got written up a LOT in her course-room. I’ll call her “Rachel” for this story but that’s not her name.
Ok with that background info here’s what I want to tell you;
Once when I was somewhat early and on my way into the courseroom – it was a Friday evening, and I was walking past the Course Supervisor’s office to do get to the courseroom. The door was halfway open. Rachel was in there, standing in front of a very tall guy in full Sea Org uniform. Rachel was very short and this huge guy towered over her. I could see her full face but his back was to the door. She was getting SCREAMED at, hollered at, by him. I don’t recall what his words were but the gist was that she was completely, utterly wrong about SOMETHING and a disgrace to LRH and Scientology. She was stammering something to him and he wouldn’t let her finish, kept interrupting her with more screaming and hollering…there was something he wanted her to do and she was trying to explain why she couldn’t do it…I was horrified. I was shocked.
I was also furious.
This girl, this 14 year old, working the hours that she worked, and getting treated this way!
I was so furious that I was about to charge in there and tell him to shut up and leave her alone and even stand between them if necessary. He was also much taller and heavier than I was but this was Just pure instinct, and I was about to act on it – this was a CHILD after all – when the door slammed in my face. I must have made a noise because the SO guy whipped around and slammed the door with one fluid movement.
I stood there for a bit, and then walked into the course room, left my stuff and went back out for a soda.
Twenty minutes later Rachel mustered us for course and I could see no evidence on her face or in her manner that she had just been severely face-ripped by someone who was obviously a senior officer in Scientology.
I didn’t know at the time that such incidences were common. I’d never observed CL V staff getting abused like this before.
Seeing her humble and stammering in front of this towering bully, seeing her head down before him made me furious, and still makes me furious!
It was so wrong. Yes, she was a pain in the ass but she had a lot of spunk and confront and she was a hard worker.
No one deserved to be treated that way, no matter what mistake they’d made, particularly a 14 year old girl who, between one thing and another was working 80 hours a week, 7 days a week!
From then on I made a concerted effort to get along with her. Her manner to me did not change. She was still smug and know it all. She was still always right. She hadn’t seen me there. I was glad that she had not been humiliated in front of me, in front of one of her students.
But I had seen her. That changed me toward her.
I stopped “backflashing” and answering her back. We didn’t tangle again after that.
Cindysays
Good comment, Aqua. My reality also. The smug superiority of the young SO members is so bad that I just want to slap the judgmental, condescending smirk right off their face! However, I held back. But this is how they recruit the young kids and keep them in the SO: by convincing them that they are superior to most, including their parents, older people and in some cases, their seniors.
And my daughter had decided to leave staff after her contract was up, but they pulled her back in using the Big Being close, telling her she was the ONLY one with the high enough confront to handle the f’ed up planet and that because of her special qualities, she owed it to mankind to re-up her stay on staff and sign up again. Even though she and her boyfriend had made a pact she would not re-sign up, she broke that pact and re-signed up when the org put intense pressure on her to do so. Sigh. The org worked on her for weeks, months many months before her contract was up. I wonder what would have happened if the opposite viewpoint would have had the same amount of time to work on her and tell her why she should NOT re-sign. But you’re ethics bait if you do that. They twist it to be you’re an SP if you just try to give a balanced view for them to contemplate.
Yis, Cindy, regging them unmercifully to join and re-sign staff and to join the SO, flattering them falsely and them blatantly to puff up the tenuous self confidence of young ones whose lack of education and training afford them very little chance of being adults with successful, productive lives, instilling them false sense of high self esteem based on a false premise, this is what the cult does to perfection, and unfortunately the cult parents have been unwittingly and with the best of intentions set their kids up for this particular type of victimhood.

Aquamarine says
“…TYPE of personality…” Not “time”.

Aqua – Interesting comment. In my 1970’s scn experience there was little to no physical sea org presence in the outer orgs and missions. What a pain in the ass working around those jokers. I guess it became the new normal over time.
Aquamarine says
Ok with that background info here’s what I want to tell you;
Once when I was somewhat early and on my way into the courseroom – it was a Friday evening, and I was walking past the Course Supervisor’s office to do get to the courseroom.

Aquamarine says
Yis, Cindy, regging them unmercifully to join and re-sign staff and to join the SO, flattering them falsely and them blatantly to puff up the tenuous self confidence of young ones whose lack of education and training afford them very little chance of being adults with successful, productive lives, instilling them false sense of high self esteem based on a false premise, this is what the cult does to perfection, and unfortunately the cult parents have been unwittingly and with the best of intentions set their kids up for this particular type of victimhood.
