I was nearing the end of my days in Slappy’s cult. I was having loss after loss after loss and I wanted OUT! So, I got on a routing-out routing form. The routing-out-of-the-org form only had 5 terminals to sign off. I thought, “piece a cake, I’m public, what can they do?” I got sign-offs on the first three terminals in about 20 minutes. Cool, I’m on my way! Then on the fourth stop, I hit a wall. I got pulled into the hallway by this young, arrogant albeit cute, little sea org chick. She took me back to all the former terminals and chewed them out for signing off on my routing form. Good grief, I’m back at square one now! She lectured me on how she was I/C of Sector 5 or some such thing. Then she had me go into a film room and watch The Orientation Film. I was baffled, being a high classed auditor at the time, but I didn’t want to flap and make my situation worse. She came back and asked me “Did you cognite?”. I said “No.” OOPS! Back into the film room to watch The Orientation Film again. This went on for the rest of the day but after the forth time through the film, the SO chick never showed. So I went home. I returned to the org the next day and started the routing form over and got through all but the last terminal, which was to see the captain and present a success story. Well, it was crunch time, so I sat down and wrote a totally, over the top success, listing all my wins and what a GREAT org the Captain manned. It was a total lie. Everything that I’d written was a freaking lie. I had never lied so much and so thoroughly and carefully in my life! The Capitan LOVED it! As I walked out of the org down the brick road, I felt guilty – for about a nanosecond.
I did what you did Mark , lied my way through an ethics interview and a leave of absence routing form . I thought I was preserving my family ! Ah!

Gotta say, besides commending RB for another brilliant strip, after living 20 years at the Int Base I don’t ever remember seeing a Success Story from Dave Miscavige. He gave endless hours of briefings, mostly about how rotten we all were, but I never heard him say a single word about his own experience with Scientology.

To be fair, he did not study or get services in the Gold Qualifications area, called the Spa because it used to be a spa in the 30s with steam rooms etc. The building with the cross that you see from the road in a lot of videos of folks driving by the Int Base.
RTC has its own personnel for Scientology services, so possibly Dave has tons of Success Stories posted all over the RTC Building that we lowly peons would never see.
I doubt it though. This brewer doesn’t hoist his own brew. Makes you wonder what is really in that stuff…

During my time on staff I knew about one case of pedophilia, only because I was working in the same area as the perpetrator around the same time.
The perpetrator was a male around 40 years old and a senior executive at the Cont level. The girl was about 13.
I don’t know whether he raped her or it was something else.
When this was found out the guy was immediately taken off post and gang sec-checked. The sec-check found that there were other similar offenses in the past. He spent the next month on the RPF before being Fitness Boarded out of the SO by OSA. I don’t know what happened to him after that but I think he was done in Scientology.
The girl’s mother wanted to go to the police but was “handled” by OSA because they didn’t want the out-PR. It was disgraceful that this predator was allowed to get off scot-free.
I have heard a lot about how Scientologists ignore or even ignore child abuse because a child is an old thetan in a young body. I think not!
I was personally disgusted and appalled when I heard about this incident. Only a handful of people knew about this in OSA and in this exec’s area and I discussed it with all of them. Everyone felt the same way as me. I never heard anyone speak of this with anything other than condemnation.

And when it says it will air on the 26th at 9 pm Eastern time, will that be 9 pm also in LA or will it be 6 pm to account for the time difference? I don’t want to miss this show.
Someone else (on The Underground Bunker) said they were able to see the program listing on their guide, but others don’t see it yet. So I think it depends on the cable/service provider as to when the guide updates.
In the past it was typically on at 9:00pm regardless of time zone, so those in east & central zones saw it first. So many people in the pacific zone would stream live on A&E to watch concurrently with friends elsewhere (there were online watch-parties where people would comment in real time and some would live-blog, so if you won’t be watching until 9PT, you might want to avoid Mike & Tony’s blogs if you don’t want to read spoilers ahead of time).
