It is hilarious. But you are right insofar as it is spot on.
It is a very important dynamic that illustrates just how powerful this scam can get its hooks into its dupes and “force” them to do most anything they want.
Who knows just what the limit may be as to what a father would do when faced with the pain of having his daughter taken out of his life. People who do not have much experience with this cult truly need to understand just how powerful their control can be.
I would guess this poor father would do almost anything when faced with the choice of not being permitted to see his daughter – or even worse – if and when he is ever faced with the loss of his daughter as a result of “disconnection”. Just what laws would he be willing to break? My guess is that many fathers would be willing to do almost anything when this cult uses that kind of extortion to get their way with him.
There must be a law. There is a law. It’s called “Extortion”. It is a crime and it usually carries a jail term of about five years. Surely there must be a way for the FBI to act and to arrest these criminals!
This entire scam is such an evil crime. It is maddening!

What a trap. If he blows she won’t be allowed to see him. If he stays he still probably won’t be able to see her. There’s no downside for him to just walk away. I suppose until someone realizes that they will continue to feed the monster.

I got over that 🙂 LRH wrote fairy tales. LRH is the only person who benefited, and now it’s DM who is the single person benefiting from it. Neither one of them, IMO, believed the fairy tales, but they sure loved the money and power it brought them. DM is still the sole beneficiary. All the members are just collateral damage I guess.
