But given that many staff have jobs partime or in a couple one of the two works in the end will be fine in some way. But the management lives almost ONLY of the percentages paid by the orgs and missions. So in a couple of weeks it will become tragic. The same for pub orgs. For policy everyone must set aside a percentage on an account called GLF (general liabilities fund) but to use them they must have approvals. They have no other local reserves. So if they can’t make money or get money, we’re on the bone. Sea org reserves will have to go into action.

But I have been reading a lot of news articles about this virus but never once have I seen the one danger that I think carries the highest risk. I hope people here will not think of me as a loudmouth know-it-all. But I consider everyone here to be a friend and I just want to help keep us all safe if I can. So here goes:
I think the single biggest danger is the thing this cult loves the most – MONEY.
News articles warn about people sneezing on each other or coughing on each other. But how often do you get sneezed on or coughed on? And yet … every day … I wager several times per day, we exchange cash money with others – both paper and coins.
If this virus is contained in bodily fluids – like our sweat – that is why it can survive on paper or metal for a few hours or so. So please think about wearing gloves when you exchange cash with someone. Even if they are just latex gloves. When I go shopping, I wear latex gloves underneath my leather gloves and I give and accept the cash only when gloved and I put it into an envelope or small coin purse or a small container. Then a day or two later, I take it out and put it into my wallet or other place.
Please try to understand I just want to see you all stay healthy and safe. God bless you all.
Skyler, you are spot about cash money and germs. In one of my jobs I regularly have to accept large amounts of cash payments, count the bills and then give receipts. Not all day long, mind you, but between 1 and 3 times a day, usually. For a long time I’ve practiced handwashing after taking these payments. I see now that bank tellers are now wearing very thin plastic gloves and I’ve seen cashiers in large and small grocery markets with them also. Cash is crawling with germs, its true!

Back when I taught Montessori, when I did the unit on money, I always made my kiddos wash their hands at the end of a lesson, explaining that money was dirty because of how many people handled it.
