Where would we be without the legendary Scientology loans that never get paid back.
The solution is always another loan on Thursday afternoon.
NEVER tell the IAS reg to get your next donation from the guy you loaned money to.
Same old shite. Star push. Broke staff. Invalidate each other accuse each other’s. And buy ridiculous gifts from money stolen from broke staff even if their stats are down or they are PTS!!! 😂😂😂😅

I used to work for the NY Mental Health system and what the clam is trying name is called a Sally Port. They are used to keep the patients from rushing out.
Wonderful cartoon! Funny and sad at the same time. The male character in the piece says it best: “Our job is to make sure everybody is donating money to Scientology.”
The focus of Scientology to get people to donate to “worthy causes” like the IAS & Volunteer Ministers & Ideal Orgs, etc. is the biggest reason Scientology is shrinking. There is no exchange for this money. These actions are against even Hubbard’s written policy.
Mike – I’m glad you put this quote on your home page: “If the org slumps during this transition period, don’t engage in “fund raising” or “selling postcards” or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology.” L Ron Hubbard From HCOPL URGENT ORG PROGRAMMING
I’m sure in the future, we will see “revised” technical and policy books with Hubbard’s own words expunged from his works in order to further the personal ambitions of David Miscavage.
I am not an apologist for the Church of Scientology. The current organization has a main purpose of separating people from their cash with nothing in return. That said, if Scientology had focused on “theta” or positive aspects such as being a friendly place and delivering auditing, they would be a lot bigger than they are now. Instead, Hubbard and then David Miscavage shifted the focus to “entheta” or negative practices such as fundraising, harsh punishments, breaking up families and outright criminal activity that is well documented.
The ultimate irony in the demise of this sorry organization is that they would have survived and grown if the positive policies were followed. The collapse of Scientology was started by Hubbard himself with the negative and harsh practices he added into the mix.
Most Scientologists are not stupid people. The internet exists. Ex Scientologists tell their stories. The female character in the piece has good cause to worry.about their members “watching WOG tv and WOG internet stuff.”
Hubbard never engaged in fundraising so far as I am aware. The Guardian’s Office, in its last days, created the Safe Environment Fund (SEF), which is in some ways the precursor to all of the craziness going on now with the IAS, Ideal Orgs and all the rest. The pressure to donate to SEF was very mild compared to what followed.
What Hubbard was responsible for was raising prices to the ridiculous levels that we still see today. The excuse for this was inflation; but these price rises continued long after they could be justified in this or any other way.
If Scientology had been run by David Mayo and Bill Franks after Hubbard’s demise, I believe that a great deal of this would have been straightened out.
Perhaps standard policy in general and the Simon Bolivar Policy in particular favors the emergence of a sociopathic leader over persons of good will.
I agree with most of this except the part about Bill Franks. I had limited contact with him but do not remember him as able to manage well. He was nervous and cult like.
David Mayo would have made Flag “friendly”.
I remember Bill Franks and David Mayo. Bill Franks came into AO1 to do a white glove inspection and he looked at a drawer and said” I would put my hand in there but it might not come out.

Teach me ‘bout clusters and pesky BTs

Take my money, set me free

THAT is really, good, Elron. My favorite song for a while when I was small, btw. “Favorite”? That’s putting it mildly. I played it over and over and over and over…AND over AND over…I was obsessed with that song. Can’t think how insane it made my parents but they never said anything. Maybe they really liked it too 🙂
Very funny. It fits Miscavige very well. My agony springs from the fact that I did not
toss him into the Bay in 1989 when I had the chance on the Freewinds. I was going to
throw him physically into the Bay because he was not following Hubbard! It has taken
years to untangle it all. I had faith in Hubbard the “stupid” even though I completely
rejected his OT VIII Bulletins. Today it is all very “Clear”.
Dear George: I was in the OTVIII courseroom on opening day June 6 1988. We had been ordered to put filters in the A/ C vents to stop the fungus from coming out. Then Snr C/S INT Ray Mithoff told me to take the filters out as it was too hot and it was blocking the air flow. I got there just as the Course Sup was calling roll. Captain Mithoff told me to look the other way when passing the course packs. When myself and my juniors removed the filters a large amount of fungus blew out and was landing on the newly opened OTVIII packs. Captain Mithoff was happy now that the air was flowing and we left.
Thank you very much for sharing! This means a lot to the cause. WOW! This confirms that Mithoff was present every step along the way. He was protecting the OT VIII material. He obviously was not aware that there would be such strange reactions. Personally, the anti Christ stuff did not even bother me. I knew the angle. But Hubbard truly showed his stupidity about Original Buddhism. It was not caught by Mithoff or anyone else. It stuck out like a sore thumb.
Hubbard was ignorant.
Hubtard was the quintessentially evil intentioned, flimflam man. As long as he wasn’t talking to a group that was well educated he did ok. Which is why he berated higher education as less than worthless to his flock.
Dead Men Tell No Tales (Who else would make a comment like this)says
You are welcome, George. I recall that when the OTVIII course sup Alice Webber ( Hablutzel) started to call the roll all of the students applauded. I remember little details like that now. Much better than the days when I could not even recognize my wife.
You know you are reading good ironic comedy when you don’t know whether or not it’s true.
Hermetically sealed entrances spraying people down – Ridiculous?
Not for Scientology!
In fact, I bet one of the OSA people who reads this column proposes the idea to COB:
OSA: COB! I have a great idea for your continued safety …… plus you get to spray people in the eyes with disinfectant!”
COB: do I get to humiliate them verbally as well?
OSA: yes! We can install a speaker inside the compartment! You can call them out on their ethics every time they walk into your office as you hose them down!
Of COURSE Davey-boy :”needs” something like that. After 60 years of the sort of mistreatment he’s been subjecting that tiny, frail body to, it’s at maximum risk if he contracts coronavirus. Hell, his journey through the scn levels started with his having “asthma” — that fake “disease” of the lungs.
