I wonder about a typical day in the life of COB, either cursing like the devil’s minions or deathly silence. Would make a good episode of “Inside Scientology” where they can pretend he is on the phone with world leaders and CEOs and planning new facilities and translating “All About Radiation” in Swahili.
Still waiting for the richly deserved David Mismanaged starring episode of the old Twilight Zone in “Sea-Org Hemet Revisited” (aka Deaths-Head Revisited).

David M might just end up like Warren Jeffs….arrested….in a prison cell with FULL ACCESS to Telephone, mail, & personal visits from his cohorts. WHERE is the punishment in THAT?
Like Warren Jeffs being the “Prophet”….still running “the show” from behind prison bars…David M as the “”Ecclesiastical Leader”…………will no doubt do the SAME DAMNED THING.
As far as Shelly goes…she is still being held in a quiet domain where she can’t tell anyone anything….SHE HAS A MOUTHPIECE THAT SPEAKS FOR HER….since WHEN is THAT LEGAL???…anyone can say she is alive & well & doesn’t want to talk to anyone & OUR LEGAL SYSTEM ALLOWS IT???
That’s like filing for benefits for a person who is DECEASED & you GET the $$ ONLY BECAUSE YOU SAY THEY”RE SILL ALIVE…but THAT is ILLEGAL…you have to PROVE that person IS ALIVE to get the benefits….but the LEGAL SYSTEM takes another person word on it

And to think back early on (70s), I actually thought a KR would change things.
Many of us stayed solely to fix what we knew was wrong because we believed it was worth fixing and if the ‘good’ guys left it would never get fixed.
Well we left.
It remains the same as in the 70s – 50 years ago!
Thank goodness it is dwindling daily.
Cece, I’ve come to the conclusion that is the classic method by which incompetent psychopaths co-opt good people, and effectively harness their support – get them feeling that if they don’t stick around to try to fix things, it will get even worse….
After reading the post in full, common sense tells me it’s ridiculous and hard to imagine, let alone except, that a leader of a major “religion” is behaving this way. And worse, talking to his parishioners(slaves)like this. The post made me think back to Ron Miscavage’s podcast I viewed a few months ago. Ron and his guest, Karen de la Carriere, were discussing one of the important reasons they had joined the co$. It was to help people. Ron and Karen both devoted 40+ years of their lives for many reasons. “Helping people” encouraged them to join, encouraged them to stay and made it very difficult to leave/escape. The deal breaker for both included them both(amongst other things), realizing they weren’t helping anyone. Ron made a comment I’ll never forget; “They(co$) aren’t clearing the planet, they haven’t cleared a fucking cul de sac”.
Nothing changes, except the numbers of those still in. It’s dwindling fast.

It’s incongruous that he refers to Leah as “Leah”. I would have expected him to call her “Remini”, or, more likely, a derogatory name.
