Amazing how the cult always manages to redirect objections into donations after sufficient pressure is applied. If he refuses to invest in rehydrated water he’ll be called into ethics to find the source of his discontent. It’ll cost him a lot to walk out again.

Keep’ em comin’, RB!
RB, as usual you effectively reflect the attitude of the run of the mill cherch members who for all intents purposes are mentally unbalanced. You are the fly on the wall we all listen to. Good one.
Debts only exist in the human world and nowhere else. A squirrel makes the nuts important. Figures makes the working around the world among human beings.
Little dwarves as DM makes it among dwarves as Putin.
I’m astounded that I STILL enjoy that podium with the pompadour each week. Classic.
Anyone who had been around when it was announced recognized that the Universe Corps was never really a thing, the same way that staff never could qualify for auditing unless they busted butt and did co-auditing that “the powers that be” set up despite the many barriers piled in their way. About the only reason I got in session at Flag was because I’d already completed the HSDC and Levels before joining the SO. Still, I had to do/re-do Dianetics which by that time had been renamed NED, and co-audit that.
I got to attest to ‘clear’, whatever that meant, but wasn’t informed I was in the “non-interference zone” or told to get onto OT I – III. I guess I already should have known and pushed to do the OT preps myself. Instead, I was forced to re-do the grades again, which I protested ‘somewhat’. Flag *was* the ultimate source of the Universe Corp personnel, so if we couldn’t get the services there & then, I dare say that Cl V org staffs today have a snowball’s chance of it happening, ESPECIALLY in light of McSavage abandoning delivery in favor of straight donations into his accounts.
DM’s podiums are unusually small. A normal height person feels like a giant when you stand behind the DM podiums.
He has the podiums around the world wherever he regularly speaks. Like one in the UK, one or two in Clearwater, and a couple in LA.
And they get recycled to Int Base for fixup and repainting and modification for each year’s new events.
One time in the late 1990s, one of the podiums was sent out to the Int Base RPF out at Happy Valley at that time, and some of the Int Base RPFers jumped at the opportunity to do work on it.
ON your RPF graduation paperwork, you need to tell what deeds you’ve done on the RPF to “make up the damage” and working on things to do with DM are always good to show your allegiance and loyalty to him when you plan to get back in good graces.
I was asked if I wanted to work on the podium, doing some slight sanding, for that reason, since it’d be a direct way to making up any damage you may have caused him personally.
Work on his podium and it’s good for you getting back in good graces, you get that logic?
I was neither for or against him, he wasn’t LRH in my eyes, and I wasn’t ever close enough to him and never “on DM’s lines” (aka “on COB’s lines”), I never had any proposals that I needed to submit to him, so was was pretty far down the heat from him.
But, his podium is noticeably short, you feel like a giant standing at his podium.
And thus with this photo on the headline above for the cartoons, this really digs into his shortness, as his podium is already specially cut short so he doesn’t look so small standing behind it.
And that’s why Ray Mithoff looked like a giant at that one long ago event when the short podiums were first being used for DM, and when other execs came on stage to use that same podium at events, it made Miscavige’s shortness impossible to miss.
…and of course we only poke fun at his shortness because it actually bothers him. If he was a mature adult about things then he’d be able to be comfortable with his size and move on. And so would we.
But Scientology stunted his emotional growth as much or more than nature and nurture stunted his physical growth. So he’s got a Napoleon complex. I’d be sad for him if he wasn’t such a POS. So instead i’m sad for the people around him who have to put up with him.
For sure, it’s a personal flaw in his character to be upset by his shortness, and thus a “profitable” goadable target against him.
Yea, to me, the bigger long range public service that could be done is dissect and summarize the main Scientology beliefs, let them be judged by what they are.
The big omission still, is simplifying the “upper levels” specifically the exorcism levels, so that is more easily publicly consumable and understandable.
Body-thetans are merely bodiless souls that cohabit our lives because Hubbard’s beliefs are that these surplus bodiless souls each have their own memory “cases” which impact each human today on earth due to the massive number of these bodiless souls that infest us all and even make up our body, which is a problematic sub idea problem of Hubbard’s ideas of what body-thetans are to us.
That better simpler explanation of the body-thetans part of human existence and comparing it to other soul practices and religions today, it’s that supernatural status of souls subject comparison writing or paper or book about Scientology’s beliefs, that I think is missing.
There isn’t such a good chapter or book in existence.
Naive me always thought there would be such a book written about all the various religions’ and mystical groups’ ideas of the soul and the soul’s various theories.
Makes me wish to go read the OED’s definition of the soul today, Sunday, LOL.
Hubbard’s soul (thetan, and body-thetan) compared, for the public, type of chapter, or paper.
Human history’s definition of the soul the context, and then Hubbard’s idea of the soul (and Scientology’s focus being the “case” alleviation of the soul being Hubbard’s mainline goal) would be my argument for the subject, were I there in Scientology headquarters, trying to dumb it all down through the Hubbard massive mess, to argue for the subject’s continued existence. (And were I in headquarters, I’d strip off the nasty chunks of the Hubbard whole mess out of the upkeeping management of this pseudo-science/exorcism subject).
It’s a parody of supposed super bottled water products peddled by Scientologists. One product called RealWater claims that extra electrons are added to each H2O molecule to enhance its power. But wouldn’t that alter the molecule in some way that it wouldn’t be H2O anymore? These are the sort of scam products that SciBots try to foist on the public along with their spaceship theology.
Any scam that makes money for the enterprise is fine, no matter how delusional it is. Suckers who fall for the scams can only blame themselves by their logic. It also means they’re responsible for falling for the Tiny Tyant’s™ “golden Ages” garbage and status donations. They should have listened to their guts and left after their first courses — after their first reading of KSW, ffs, as it’s got dozens of red flags sticking up all over it, starting with item #1
Too true but the reason that people hang on to the false ideas rather than listen to their gut feelings is that the lies are so much more empowering than the truth.
This is fricken hilarious, RB! You are so good at using the loaded lingo in a way that makes me laugh at myself for how STUPID, crazy and insane Scientologists sound and act.

I love your cartoons and this blog. Thanks Mike for being here every fricken day “Doing Something About IT!” I do believe you and Leah are taking this cult down one exposure at a time. THANK YOU.
The ultimate evaluation of if we are winning the battle will be numbers, are member numbers increasing or decreasing. It will be interesting to see when the results of this years Australian census are released wether the numbers have decreased (results will be finalised and available next year). The last census was 2016 which was around the time that Scientoliegy and the Aftermath was aired. As well as that show theirs also been added a heap of internet clips, Mikes page exposing the group, other pages and a large amount of information on the net – the majority being unfavourable.
Should the Australian census numbers show a decrease ill say that the war is being won and credit should go to Mike and Co.
Xenos, numbers have to be down anywhere. Scientology has relied on baby boomers for its success and continued existence for more than half a century, and time is just running out for that demographic.
There could be a few minor exceptions in Taiwan and a couple of Eastern European countries where they didn’t arrive until recent decades.
Those Eastern European countries can be very fanatical about their religions and as a result i couldnt imagine scientology doing well, especially the Christian Orthodox countries. Countries like Greece, Serbia, Cyprus etc would consider the group nuts and are not as accepting of other religions, despised may be a appropriate way to describe what they think of Scientologists.
O/T. Non-sectarian Marriage Retreat hosted by Scientology Freedom Medal Winner Nation of Islam Minister Tony Muhammad (aka Abdul Malik Sayyid Muhammad) excludes gay and lesbian couples.
The Church of Scientology is currently promoting itself as gay and lesbian friendly, and asserts that it does not discriminate against gays and lesbians in any way,. Yet Tony Muhammad, a prominent Scientologist, Scientology Freedom Medal Winner and someone who the church continues to promote in both Google ads and on Scientology TV, excludes gays and lesbians from a non-sectarian marriage retreat.
Moreover, this is far from the first time Tony Muhammad has engaged is homophobic conduct and speech.
Any organization other than the Church of Scientology that promoted itself as gay and lesbian friendly, and as non-discriminatory, and that had a prominent spokesperson (again, promoted on their TV channel) who engaged in homophobic anti-LGBT discrimination would address the issue.
Consider a legitimately gay and lesbian friendly, non-discriminatory church — e.g.the Unitarian Universalist Church, the Episcopal Church in the U.S. How would they react if their equivalent of Tony Muhammad (i.e., promoted on their TV channel; Clear, Super Power Completion, Class 4 Auditor — perhaps the equivalent of a deacon, if not a minister) repeatedly engaged in homophobic conduct and speech?
At least “Tony” is an equal-opportunity bigot, and consistent. Is there ANY group he doesn’t offend regularly? Gays, Jews, Whites, anyone who doesn’t think his way, from the top of my head. Ya gotta wonder what he thinks about the Demented Midget behind closed doors.
This is good satire, but it borders on incredible that a down-to-earth wife like that would put up with a such a truly stupid husband who constantly borrows and donates money that she is also responsible for repaying.
I think her fictional end point will come when she discovers, or realizes, that all of those donations did nothing but pad the Miscavige personal war chest.
Instead of going for humanitarian projects or useful buildings, their donations pay for Miscavige’s Ideal Morgs that are useless for anything except a place to put all the profits that a not-for-profit should not have laying around. It also goes to pay for things like his lawyers, PIs, vacations, chefs, special shoes, hand-made shirts and suits, personal chef that makes him two different meals at each setting in case he dodesn’t like the first one, and so forth ad infinitum.
As a public, she might only discover all this by her occasional net surfing, but it’s only a matter of time before the facts cross her screen.
And that ‘war chest’, Ammo, is the one which allows Dwarfenführer® to bug out and retire to Bulgravia with his stock of fine single-malt whiskey, as much is still left, that is.

But then there were the dentists, chiropractors, etc. coming in from Sterling lines or whatever.
You bring up many good points.
But aren’t Scamologists required to watch the programming on the Scamology TV Network that Dave set up? They would need a TV for that.
Dotey, I’m sure that you could continue on longer than the enterprise does, but you’re right, I suppose; we get the idea. But even when I was out and making good money, I had a beat-up old clunker known as a “beater” here in the North East: a car that we use in the Winter because we don’t care if it gets more dented and dinged. I also used ours to commute into the city. No one challenged my right to the lane I was in when they saw that big old beat-up old mud-brown Chevy vista wagon. Did I mention it was OLD?
I have ridden in those mud-brown Chevy Vista wagons. And before that Ford Galaxy wagons, or whatever they called them back then. It took salt to vanquish a few of those beasts. Rust Never Sleeps.
