It was a wet and windy night but apart from a lot of debris and no power we came through unscathed.
Sadly, the same can’t be said for many others in the area — we will only start seeing the extent of the damage now there is light.
As always, your kind thoughts and support are much appreciated.

Why isn’t Marinated Minimonster ordering his hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of super-dooper super powered super beings out to use their god powers to fix everything in a matter of minutes?
Hm, it might be a little difficult to get anyone to pay $camatology for their “kindness and caring”. We all know Demento doesn’t do anything for free, so it’s a foregone conclusion that the gods will not be called upon.

It is sad that so many died or suffered significant injury or property damage from Milton. But it’s good to her you and yours came through pretty good.
As is often the case, the storm deflected from the expected track. But of course that was due to Oatee Ate’rs busy pushing the worst of the storm off onto someone else, as could be expected.

Gotta redo some of those auditing commands. Should have zigged when they zagged.
“Look at that hurricane…thank you. Exteriorize over to that hurricane…thank you.
Make that hurricane go right… No right! The other right!! FLUNK”!!!
“Look at that mess…thank you. Walk over to that mess”… etc etc.

Now that’s squirrel tech! Call it “The Hurricane TRs and Cause Over Natural Disasters Course”.

Glad you weathered the storm well. Still hoping to hear one day you’ve beat cancer as well. I hope you’re doing as well as you can considering what chemo does to the body. I’d text you every day to check up on you if I thought it would cure you, but I’m sure Christie has it under control. Lots of love to you and the family.

Always good to hear good news and I hope that is the case for all in the area.

Good to hear you got through it unscathed! Next up: what happened to the Fort Harrison, Flag Land Base, the Super Power Building…….
I guess positive postulates were of no help in this circumstance.

Good! Keep safe.
Doug Sprinkle says
Glad you are well Mike. Did the Fort Harrison come through unscathed? I would assume with that many OT’s in one location the building did not even get rained on.

Glad you and your family are safe. Prayers for those not as fortunate as fortunate 🙏

Seems that hurricane Milton was an exaggeration from the start.
Why was that? That a hurricane, typhoon or cyclone (same things, different areas) loses force is a given.
I predict that CoS will claim to have controlled the storm.
Alcoboy says
Yes. At the next event, whoever is conducting it will brag about how all the VMs positive postulated the storm away from Clearwater which will result in more IAS donations.

Glad to hear you and yours are safe.
