I think this is a serious post on Facebook, but I am not 100% certain.
The reason I think Iann Jones is serious is Scientologists are not known for their sense of humor, but are known for latching onto even the most insane thoughts if it forwards the “greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics.” (See some earlier posts: Conspiracy Theories, A Scientologist Conspiracy Theory, STAAD Scientology Conspiracy Theories)
Obviously, this is not a real photo, it’s AI generated. But Mr. Jones makes no note of that while spreading it on social media. We know many scientologists got themselves into a lather about how Trump was going to be their guy – he would get rid of “Obamacare” (thus cutting funding for psychs), welfare, the Deep State and more. Scientologists overwhelmingly supported him evidenced by virtually the only precinct in LA that chose him in the 2016 Presidential election was the one that included “Big Blue” – the residence of the majority of SO members in the city. And when the SO members are voting as a block (they made up half of the voters in the precinct) we know that they were directed by the organization to do so and that this was not limited to Los Angeles — it was a message from the powers that be. So, a scientologist for Trump and “THE PLAN” is understandable.
But Putin? Doesn’t Iann know his government in Russia has repeatedly raided and prosecuted scientology organizations. That he has had his FSB put scientologists in prison for practicing scientology? Does Jones think Trump will “tame” Putin and bring him around to accepting scientology? Is this part of THE PLAN? I guess anything can be part of THE PLAN.
You might think Iann Jones is extreme — he IS. But there are a LOT of scientologists like him and it is enlightening to see them display their cognitive dissonance (insanity?) for the world to see. It offers a glimpse into the world of scientology right from the horse’s mop

I remain perplexed how many Scientologists are super overt and undiluted about their devotion to Donald Trump. This was experienced in my local org, as well as at Flag with career Sea Org members (2017-2020, my final three years in Scn) originating to me frequently how much they admire and value Donald Trump, and the American people for electing him.
I noticed (August 2024), Scientologist Jim Meskimen, an actor and voice-over artist in Hollywood, using his personal Twitter/X account to extol the virtues and courage of Robert Kennedy, Jr. an explicit Trump supporter for Trump’s 2024 bid to return to the U.S. presidency.
I find these explicit alignments with Trump an “outpoint” for a couple of reasons: a) the man to whom Scientologists are permitted to show devotion is L. Ron Hubbard, secondarily David Miscavige; and b) In the United States, there is supposed to be a separation of church and state. I was amazed how much inside orgs, including Flag, Trump’s virtues were spoken about lovingly, steadily, and loudly.
A theory I developed—anyone else considered this?—is that Scientologists believe L. Ron Hubbard is transmitting his will through Donald Trump, and Donald Trump willingly signed on for this notable and noble task. Here is how it was explained to me by a senior Church of Scientology group member: “Trump had availability and was looking for a bigger game; he was hand-picked for the job.”
If you read the multitudes of individual group member posts on the Scientologists’ private Facebook group, extolling intense affection, admiration, and adherence to Donald Trump, you might scratch your head (as I did): “Are they allowed to offer this much devotion and praise to a man who is not L. Ron Hubbard? What explains this unquestioning trust and devotion to Donald Trump?”
I recall a 2020 post by a Scientologist recently through OT 3 expressing her certainty that Donald Trump was using his breath to breathe away the COVID virus, confident with those simple, steady actions, there would be no more COVID anywhere.
Living in Scientology as a group member is like living inside a twist pretzel. I remain grateful everyday that I connected the dots, after three decades, to recognize I was in a cult and needed to extract myself. Grateful for this M. Rinder blog community.

The orgs in Moscow and St Petersburg are closed. The Sea Org base as well. Some books are forbidden. Activities have gone underground. Scientologists wanting to further cross the Bridge to Nowhere go to other countries such as Denmark, Belarus, UK, South Africa.
Wikipedia has three relatively decent entries on the subject:
… undesirable organizations (No 47 and 48, WISE and CST):

Some of LRH books are forbidden:

“The bridge to nowhere” – very witty! Imagine going to another country for this sham cult! SAD

Its great when Mike posts things that have been found on various social media. But is anyone responding to these things at source? For example, as Mike states – Putin has systematically attacked SCN. The photo is AI generated. Has someone pointed this out on “Flag Life”? I know, that most SCN sheeple will think it is another conspiracy/attack on SCN by the great unwashed. But maybe, just maybe it might sow a few more seeds of doubt and give the Aftermath foundation more visits.

It really is the best part of this horrible “election cycle”- people put their crazy right out on display for all to see.

First three steps of “the plan”:
1) Load up three fifty seven magnum.
2) Aim at foot.
3) Pull trigger.
I can’t say that this guy surprises me.
Years ago I used to post on a sciantologist email group called the RazzLine….. A whole bunch of Scientologists used to post LRH quotes claiming that they proved that he supported the GOP platform.
I responded with LRH quotes saying how Scientology was supposed to be non-political. In the ensuing debate, I refer to them all as “Republicolgists” and was booted from the group. 😁😁😄

Good for you! Maybe one paused and squirreled away that bit of truth.

Speaking only for myself, even when I was still in Scientology I was always a Democrat voter.
Despised Trump from his Birther days on.
Despised Putin for even longer than this.
I don’t see how any person of goodwill could support either.
Not awfully keen on the Woke Democrats either.
Both options are bad ones, but the Republicans are so much worse.
God help us all if we get the Fascist Trump back in the White House.
Phillip says
I don’t understand how any person using any common sense would support the Woke Dems over the (far, far from perfect) Republicans.
And when you call someone a Fascist (Fascism = Socialism) you’ve shown that you’ve been taken in by the propaganda. Gone for the buzzword instead of the substance. Gone to name calling instead of addressing the issues.

(Sorry Mike, I know you try to keep the political talk out, but I felt a response was needed.)

Philip, with all respect for your political affiliations, “Fascism” and “Socialism” are opposite governing methods. They’re not equal at all – total opposites in fact.

I couldn’t get past the first two words – ‘Flag Life.’
Nothing after that made any sense either.

It’s an oxymoron.

Indeed, like “staff pension.”

Scientologists don’t do humor very well. It’s not in their DNA. And the humor style of the Babylon Bee and the Onion are way beyond their comedic skills.
