After more than THIRTY YEARS, they STILL aren’t close to their target of 10,000 onto (or through) OT VII.
And believe me, this “6300” INCLUDES anyone on or through OT VII that is READING THIS BLOG. Also everyone who has dropped their body. Or who is a “Black Tag” (ie “off the level”). This 6300 also includes all Sea Org members who have made it through OT VI by some miracle (though in 30 years, if anyone cared, every SO member on earth could have been gotten up to OT VII and according to the PR statements of the church there are more than 5000 Sea Org members).
Of course, nobody in the bubble sees the contradiction — “straight up and vertical expansion” never equates to any real stats and this is one of the few that have ever been made public. Neither has 10 years of “Ideal Orgs” “Clearing the Planet” hasn’t changed the number on OT VII.
Note, the only thing he specifies is that there are 10 a week COMPLETING. You can be sure there are less than that STARTING. The completions don’t add to the number of “on or through” as they are already “on”. He is trying to convince those that are “on” to “complete” so they can become part of the “10,000” but I guess they are too dull to realize they are ALREADY part of the 10,000.
At this rate — 6300 in a bit over 30 years — 200 on average per year, they only have another 18 years to go before they have 1 in 700,000 people on earth onto or through OT VII. That is providing the population of earth doesnt continue to grow at a rate of 200,000 per day, each day adding far more “case” than is being “handled” by those “on OT VII” (which is in the order of hundreds, not thousands, and is getting less every day).
Hey Larry, there’s some data that OT V after OT V surely doesnt know about. Perhaps you could add them into your sales pitch and see how it goes?

Hello!
As you have probably heard, we are making incredible strides in achieving our target of 10,000 Scientologists on or through New OT VII, Solo NOTs. We currently stand at over 6,300, and are achieving an average of almost 10 New OT VII completions a week!
You, of course, are acknowledged for having gotten yourself to where you are at today on the Bridge. However, I am calling on you to help us achieve our final target. I’m sure you would like to be one of the “10,000 on or through Solo NOTs”. I can help you accomplish this.
I am co-delivering a briefing this Saturday, September 28, along with the Lead Solo C/S AOLA. My portion of the briefing will focus on the “NOTs Band – New OT V, VI & VII”. I will be covering the discovery and nature of this band, and the intention LRH had in completing it once started. I have had OT V after OT V tell me that they had no idea of the data that I cover.
The briefing begins at 6:30, with dinner at 6:00. It will be at the ASHO Chapel, tomorrow, Saturday, September 28. Call in to confirm to attend to the FSC Promo & Events I/C, Brianne, at 323 9533230.

Jane and All,
Thank you for your posts. I greatly appreciate them. I post on this blog because I know there are other public Scientologists still in or on the fence, who are searching and are getting answers right here. I know how much I have been helped by sites like this. Leaving the cult of the CoS is difficult and the stakes can be high. Just look at all the broken, “disconnected” families.
I value my privacy and that of my family’s, so some of what I might say here does not come particularly easy. I have children to protect and that was the main reason why I was afraid to get involved with the internet. I am also helping them through university and onto their purpose lines in life. This is very important to me. After all, I have done this myself, why wouldn’t I do the same for my kids?
My husband and I both personally know OTVIII’s who got off the ship and within a year or so either got a divorce, cancer or some other catastrophic illness and DIED. He is also aware of how he can get away from Flag with the financial excuses of debt, taxes, lost income, etc., because he’s talked about it. It definitely is a work in progress but I believe he’s on the path to truth and of course, he has me to help him out.
Thanks again for your well wishes.
Jane Doe says
Good for you Pepper! You’re doing right by your man and by your kids. I admire you.
Pepper says
Jane,
You have valid points and only my husband on OTVII can answer your questions.
I have an idea that somehow he has seperated LRH and DM as two completely seperate entities in his mind and thus ‘splits’ his thinking. I have some reality on this being in the church myself and how I would continously overlook blaring outpoints and rationalize them. I know all about the mental gymnastics one has to keep perfoming in one’s head. I can see this is not easy for him and the stress is mounting. His voicing any disagreements is only of late, so I don’t know what will happen in the near future. It won’t be easy for him.
I keep my opinions to myself and here on this blog. It took me six years before I would even post a comment on a blog like this. That’s the kind of fear I was in. I can only imagine where he is at. I never discuss his auditing with him, unless he wants to talk about it. He has indicated that he does not plan to do OTVIII.
Madora Pennington says
Pepper that was so interesting. Good to know the abuses at Flag have been cutback somewhat. OTVIII is on the internet if you search “Fishman Affidavit”. So no one needs to go the ship for that.
For anyone who hasn’t seen it, look up the YouTube of Greg and Debra Barnes telling the story of how they got declared. It is amazing. Thanks to them for their bravery. One of their videos has about 40,000 views – that’s a lot of interest in OT7.
Hallie Jane says
My heart is with you Pepper. I remember being scared that my hubby wasn’t going to understand the degree and bizarreness of the out tech that I had experienced. I didn’t have all the background that I have now, so I didn’t understand it myself. I kept small points coming and he came around quickly. I picked a winner! It’s such an enturbulating bunch of dev-t on the marriage comm line. Keep in arc and gradients but keep revealing more. He might be worried about you too and how you might react. Let him know you’re with him no matter what. Best of luck!
Jane Doe says
Pepper, I feel for him, and you. And I understand about reading blogs a long time before even daring to post. We’re all been there to some degree. What kind of “church” would instill this kind of fear in its people? There is a reference by LRH called “The Road to Truth” where he states that the road to truth once foot is set upon it must be traveled allt he way through. And that we can’t stop on the road to truth because all sorts of bad things will beset you if you stop and that it must be travelled all the way through. (Sorry for the paraphrase of that. Maybe someone can help with the actual date of the reference.)
Anyway my point here is that he has started his foot on that road, the road to TRUTH, which now is pointing the way OUTSIDE the church. So by all means tell him not to stop short. Even if it means looking outside the church, he must do it. To stop short and keep justifying the most flagrant of outpoints will get him into all sorts of trouble. And when I say trouble, sometimes it is bigger than just cognitive dissonance. Sometimes it is illness or death. I am not trying to scare you, but read some of the articles on stats of OT VII and VIII’s who have died, had heart attacks, cancer, strokes, accidents, all sorts of things. It is very much the opposite of what we’ve been fed… that OT’s have magical powers and survive better etc. The OT’s connected to DM and the squirrel tech in the church are dying before their time. I just read a post about this from a D of P at Flag recently.
So please help your husband to confront the unconfrontable. He can’t keep on just trying to compartment it in his mind. And as for completing OT VII, he can complete it in the field here. We have excellent well-trained Class IX’s and a Class XII out here. We have tech terminals who worked with Solo Nots auditors at Flag for years, who are now practicing out in the field. (Did you read Silvia Lloren’s coming out story?) A friend of mine is mid OT VII and she got an excellent OT VII review and is now solo auditing OT VII under a good CS in the Indie field.
If he needs to know what to say to Flag so he can stop auditing, he can tell them he is sick and can’t audit. He can return his materials and say he is broke and can’t pay for OT VII anymore. He can leave on good terms under the broke thing and be under the radar for a while if he isn’t ready to come out yet. I know some others on OT VII who just turned in their materials and said they can’t pay for it anymore and will earn the money and be back when they do, yet they have no intention of ever going back to Flag.
You can be key to helping him see the light. A few little things said here and there to get him to look. Don’t kill him with the atom bomb all at once cuz that’s too much for him to handle at once…. but you can do it on a gradient. And if you can somehow get him to read Debbie Cook’s letter? Wow, that did it for me and many others.
Good luck to you both. Ask for help of other Indies if you need it. You aren’t alone.
Jane Doe says
YEs, you’re right about OT VII being the biggest cash cow, Pepper. (That and Super Power donos.) But I don’t understand how your hsuband can get through the D of P Int and the Sec Checks without something coming up on disagreements with DM or the church or connected to people who are that way? That’s a sharp razor line he is treading. He needs to be told the whole truth. How much case gain can he really get when he is auditing OT VII over a huge withhold like this?
Hallie Jane says
I have such a peeve about the phrase “perfect” auditor. Absolutes are unattainable, there’s no such thing. Auditors have their own personality, point of view and auditor beingness. They even might have a flaw or two. Pc’s and preots have their own personality, point of view, case quantity, abilities, and are in the throes of confronting and articulating their case problems and confusions. It’s a fluctuating, fluid, emotional, REAL exchange & can get a little wild. Auditors learn to audit by auditing lots of people and improving their skills, with good cramming and word clearing, against the tech. Quality auditing is accomplished by a caring, perceptive, high confront person who helps a LIVE person get through the right processes. One can audit a standard session, violating no HCOB, and one can be different from the next. “Perfection” is a vain and unworthy goal. I don’t think the theta universe provides that concept, as it’s more the world of “qualities”, with no assignment of right, wrong, or absolutes.
statpush says
Excellent post Hallie. You got it. This perfection nonsense will only end in tears for all involved. Everyone needs to realize: LRH never required this, the public never demanded this, students never requested it – only Mr Bright Idea, the King of Know-Best INSISTED that this occur. This is the type of arbitrary that is introduced by someone who is unfamiliar with the technology of auditing and Scn basics. He truly does not understand what Scn is all about. I am certain he THINKS he does, but his vision of Scn is dark mashup of Nazi SS/Gestapo + Stasi + Space Opera + 1984.
Auditing is natural and organic. DM thinks its mechanical.

Pepper says
Lurkness,
My husband is on OTVII. He goes every six months to Flag for what’s called a “refresher” and it does include a security check. He says it’s a farily short list but I have no details what it contains.
It’s not FPRD anymore; that arbitrary was cancelled way back when Greg and Debra Barnes got declared. They were the ones who brought up the fact that FPRD and sec checking was out-tech while on OTVII.
My husband is auditor trained, so he tends to move quickly through the process. He’s usually done in 7-10 days and gets back home in about 10 days, rarely longer. He’s also pretty disciplined about doing at least 4 sessions per day, 6 on week-ends and stays out of trouble in general, so his auditing goes fast too.
As for the cost, he sets aside $3,000 per month to cover the cost of being on OTVII. This is for auditing, accomodations, flights, CS’ing, etc. and he even includes his donations as part of the overall cost too.
The requests for donations is another story. Recently, Flag changed their routing form and made it much shorter. Before, when he routed in (and out) he had to visit IAS, Planetary Dissemination, Way to Happiness, etc. and get briefed by all of them and of course, pay up. Within the last year, those have all been dropped off the routing form, except for IAS when you leave. Don’t worry, they’ll hit you hard.
He told me that one of the main reasons people don’t want to get on to
OTVII anymore is because of all the notorious regging pressure and he’s certain Flag knows this and changed the routing form because of it. There have been a lot of complaints about this in a “vertical” fashion. He also told me that he knows about the Internet and people are reading that too, which is keeping them away. He hasn’t admitted this yet to me but I believe he is checking it out too. He keeps asking me about the whereabouts of Heber Jentzsch and is completely silent about David Miscavige; never speaking his name.
Flag is obviously desperate to keep people on OTVII and get new people on. This is one of their biggest cash cows, if not the biggest.
Just Me says
Thanks much for the information. That paints a good, clear picture of what it takes for a model pre-OT, someone who’s trained, doesn’t get in ethics trouble, and clipping along to stay on the level.
It costs him $36,000 (minimum) after taxes and 3-4 weeks a year away from home. That translates to (depending on your joint income) $50-$60K in earned income; no family vacations at all, and a muzzled relationship with his wife. I hope distances himself from Flag and the Church permanently once he’s done.
DollarMorgue says
Very encouraging, thank you for sharing.
Lurkness says
Pepper,
Thank you very much for taking the time to give such a detailed and up to date response. I know Greg and Debra Barnes said then it was running $16k (without travel and accomodations) every 6 months for the FPRD/Sec Check process ($32k annually, each). Much appreciation to you for sharing and wishing you and your husband all the best and even better times and great happiness in the future.

“Now, let’s talk about cancer and suicide on Solo Nots. Here are some data for you guys.
There is a tag status for each Solo Nots auditor:
Green tag: audit 4 to 6 sessions daily and comes on time for his 6 months check.
Grey tag: audit less than 4 sessions daily and doesn’t come on time for his 6 month check.
Orange tag: Not allowed to solo audit because of out ethics situation.
Purple tag: Not allowed to audit because of illness or sickness.
Black tag: Disaffected with the church.
See the way it works? One starts the level with a Green tag then, depending on his “ability to be Cause over Life” one keeps his Green tag or, follow the dwindling spiral to Black tag.
There are about 5,300 Solo Nots Auditors worldwide and about(depending on their current status):
1,000 Green tags
1,100 Grey tags
900 Orange tags
800 Purple tags
1,500 Black tags
The 10,000 on Solo Nots is just a dream. There is only 1,000 of them auditing regularly.
I was Solo Nots D of P Europe…….”

I once asked a Flag World Tour reg about the 10,000 number (knowing about the LRH ref on “at any given time…”), she told me that it was a precise mathematical formula used by Int Management to salvage the planet. Reeeeallly? Given that many Int Management terminals have yet to finish high school, it seems unlikely that anyone is capable of formulating anything mathematical (unless it is the amount of SO Reserves).
Also, considering 1952 the population of Earth was 2,628,448,169, in 2013 the population will hit 7,130,013,742, thus requiring 27,126 Solo NOTs auditors instead of 10,000. Oops.
Wendy M says
“…a precise mathematical formula used by Int Management to salvage the planet.” That’s so funny I had to pick myself up off the floor to write this comment. But while I was clutching my sides, I actually cognited on the formula:
10 000 x (US$250 000,00 (or more to get there) + multiple public attendances at events to +crush reg and get IAS donos, ideal org donos, super power donos, library donos, + the scraping of the cream off the top of class V orgs and missions whilst giving them nothing but grief in return + an “ambassador” programme to act like the gestapo to push the others with their hidden data lines (I know something you need to know, so get in the production line to OT7 and don’t complain about the line-up or the cost) and to idolize RTC and COB (I refer to success stories of OT7’s and 8’s)) = lots of money and power and prestige.
This formula is further qualified by :
a)sending members back down the bridge to do objectives, plus
b)alienating a bunch of people when they are part way there, so getting to 10 000 is interminably long; plus
c)touting super power to divert attention off the so-called goal and lengthening the runway;
plus
d)obliterating milestones already achieved and sending members back to start; plus
e)demanding all public read all books and listen to all lectures before they can move up(keeps them on the production line for events even longer);
And this additional part of the formula ensures that the money, power and prestige formula (see above) does not run dry too quickly.
And the members cannot blame the church for not getting to 10 000 on 7, because THAT is in fact the member’s individual stat – to get onto 7.
I don’t think the RCS wants to “salvage the planet” but rather has in mind to “savage the planet”.

neither is OT7 a substitute for an education. One has to learn the arts of how something has to be done and there are many schools and books for that purpose.
A normal Scientologists is well trained in explaining and understanding everything and he has labels and quotes for any problems in life. But this doesn’t amount to a leader that changes the world.
Hallie Jane says
I agree completely Roger. That’s why both my kids have college degrees on THEIR purpose lines. Ron talks about the three valid forms of processing; auditing, education and change of environment. (my paraphrase from a PL I believe) They all can produce case gain so why not do all three? Purpose lines and priorities can be so different from being to being, it’s a death sentence for some, to not pursue education. Their entire lifetime will be off purpose no matter how much Scn they do. It’s very suppressive to not offer the full spectrum of choice, especially to young people, and let THEM decide what to do with their own lives. Funneling all scn children, into the SO, as their only ethical option, is gross inval, eval and false data.

I’m litte bit schocked to see that most people don’t know the reference this distorted idea of DM is based on:
” “At any one time on Earth there were not more than about 10,000 people of a caliber, that was sufficient to do a little steering or leading.”
Never LRH said that 10 000 OT VII’s will be leading the planet.
Those 10 000 people are leaders like politicians, artists, scientists, philophers, writers, leaders in economy, kings, mayors, individuals, religious leaders…..
Does anybody of you know in what fields those 6000 OT VIIs are leading ?
if you know history you’ll see that most grest leaders had a very thorough education in politics, economy, history, philosophy, rhetorics, military sciences, arts and dozens of other subjects, and were very literate, already in a very young age.
If you send 10 000 OT 7s to university you’ll propably habe about 10 great leaders that can influence the world !
Those few policies about leadership from LRH are not a substitute for a real education !
Cat Daddy says
If they study as hard at University as they crammed on Scientology it could have been more than 10. So many productive lives lost in the trappings of the Church.

A little North Korea in their own backyard. I doubt they had anything to do with it, but they will sure get some interesting specimens reeling out of the wreckage.
And maybe, just maybe, we’ll all be the wiser for it and someday spread the message about what mind control really is and how it works, not just a buzzword. And those who continue on the other side, the indy side, I hope you keep your eyes open and don’t lay the entire blame at DM’s door. You would shame LRH by not applying look, don’t listen. And when you look, look at what’s going on in you, too. Not just at superficial and blatantly obvious surrounding. Listen to your internal alerts, they go off for a damn good reason.

” It’s a completely manufactured ‘quota’. ”
Damn right, Mike. This dumbass keeps making the subject of Scientology look stupid and unscientific with out of context statements like this. 10,000 people on OT VII? Not 9,999? Not 10,001? I have never trusted round numbers. What are the odds?
But as you point out Ron never said this. It was manufactured from a snippet from a casual comment he made a long time ago on some subject or other and taken LITERALLY by dumbass Dave.
But that’s good enough for Mi$scavige as long as very few people find the actual quote and read it. Another whole PROGRAM has been manufactured from an out of context quote just like the Ideal Org program.
Espiritu says
Absolutely right, Oracle.
Miscavige has twisted EVERYTHING he has touched in the subject of Scientology.
As you point out, Ron’s message was (and is) that the subject of Scientology can help YOU.
Since 1950 there have always been plenty of people in this world who tend to denigrate the spiritual philosophy of Dianetics and Scientology (as well as anything else that actually enhances people’s lives), emphasize its imperfections, and ignore its great value. And today, as always, their rants continue… ad nauseum.
Ironically though, the worst of these “denigraters of the subject” is the Church of Scientology itself under the “leadership” of Mi$cavige. Over the past several decades this person has altered Tech and mis-applied and/or violated Policy in so many destructive ways that it has given the actual subject a bad name.
Mi$cavige, like other denigraters of beneficial things, is a disgrace to all of the beautiful and helpful things that Ron discovered and created.
Oh, by the way:

I was told by some folks who have been on the level (for decades) that the cost is about $25,000 per year for the privilege of doing OT7 in the cult. As an Indie, forget about the sec checks, those actions have NOTHING to do with YOUR case gain. It’s all GI for the cult, grease for their wheels. Figure on a couple grand a year maybe for C/S’ing in the Indie field?
Not only is the tech better and FAR more affordable in the Indie field, it’s also a SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY. For anyone is lurking here, (it’s why I post here) thinking about making your move, you will NEVER look back. You only move forward, truly as a being, when you graduate the cult phase of Scientology. Lurkness, A year ago I asked a friend of mine, who was on the level, what one should expect to figure into their budget each year to be auditing OT7. The reply was, yes, they DO go for the 6 month “refreshers” and it will cost anywhere from $5000 – $10,000 for auditing each time they go. **That is only the cost of the auditing. You still need to figure in flight, accommodations, food and business time lost. AND, you still need to pay for the Case Supervision of the folders thru out the year…which I am not sure of that amount. I’m sure we have some OT7 guys around…Tony D?…who could give a real picture. It ain’t pretty!

I know a few people on this level. Yes, every six months they are summoned back to flag for a refresher.Sec check.
They are usually go for least four weeks.
Martin Padfield says
So, conservatively $30,000 a year, for the privilege of auditing YOURSELF. That’s AFTER you’ve spent in excess of $100,000 getting to VII. I see. Real affordable for most of Earth’s population then. Anybody know how many VIIs and VIIIs there are in India and China? (Combined population 2.5 billion).

Big Fly in the ointment Larry.
“You have to deliver what you promise.”
Rex Fowler was “ON” OT 7 until “you know who” discovered his company had
a nice bundle of ready cash. So it was” Deploy the Flying monkeys” to get that money!!!!
I’m sorry Larry but as I thumb through my Red on White Vols I can’t seem to find murdering your Chief Financial Officer and attempting suicide ?
That surely is FLAG( friendliest place on Earth / BARF) tech that I don’t have the rank to ask.

“Oh yes, Mr. Fowler…well, as I was saying, we now have 6299 on or through OT VII…”

Mike, I don’t know about others, but I’m astounded by how you manage to sustain interest in this now really monotonous regurgitation of thoroughly overrun blurb & blabber from bots & bletherers, doing the bidding for HIS business!
You should be awarded a 1000 mile runner’s medal, just for the endurance alone, man!

Until disconnection is ended, until families are reunited and the abuses stopped, until the lies are exposed, this effort must go on. This is not about the entertainment value.

Calvin B Duffield says
No, nomnom, it certainly isn’t, but perhaps you can see that it IS about the “waking up,” which is the result of having the balls to LOOK? This is a form of comm lag for each and every individual and when finally acted against, has an almost uniform reaction——–“How could I have been so stupid?” (akin to going on hitting yourself on the head with a hammer, continuously, till you ACTUALLY stop for just a moment, to ask yourself WHY you have a headache?) You could admit it does make for a bizarre spectacle, none the less? Though I get your empathy, there are some who simply, steadfastly, stubbornly, just refuse to quit the stated use of said hammer on self. “Tough love” is hard for those impacted to confront, but sometimes allowing the self determined “decision” to eventually LOOK, is the only way for them, if ever. I think this is the only realistic answer to your concerns above, so my hopes are with you too. – Calvin.

More truth revealed, the fact is that at the top echelon of the SO, most could not advance and get NOTs for the decades of Dave’s watch, let alone of On or through Solo NOTs! That was one of my realizations for my exit. Fact is that Indies NOTs is quite awesome and available with more gains and the Bridge is and has moved outside of Scn Inc!
Jane Doe says
You go Sinar! You speak sooth! I have experienced some of the auditing outside the church and it was awesome. I highly recommend auditing and training in the Indie world. The tech lives on!

at these type of org events, when they say dinner will be served, does anyone have an idea what type of dinner it usually is? is it anything decent or maybe something like just spaghetti and salad or something and is it buffet style or is it served?
DollarMorgue says
Just enough to make you feel you now owe them something.
The Oracle says
“However, I am calling on you to help us..”
This is the new Sea Org mantra. Begging for money, begging for help. This is what David Miscavige has created.
Hubbard’s mantra with the Scientology was, “We can help you. We offer you our help we do not owe it”.
David Miscavige has turned the culture around 180 degrees to “We must be contributed to”.

Forgive me Mike… Memory is getting a little hazy these days… But what is the significance of the 10k figure?
I have a vague recollection of something happening once the 10,000 target was hit but I can’t remember what it was.
Mike Rinder says
Chris, it was some statement by LRH that “all we would need would be 10,000 OT’s and we would achieve our objectives” or something like that. Maybe one of our readers here has it specifically. I am sure I could find it somewhere if I took the time. It’s a completely manufactured “quota” that is now just a number. After 30 years whoever the brilliant mind was that set the target based on some snippet of a quote is long since forgotten. But as with virtually everything in the church, things cannot change once authorized. The machine just grinds on, unthinking and uncaring.
It’s on a par with: “With all orgs made ideal, planetary clearing becomes a reality” (if by that you mean 0.00001 of the planet is Cleared).
TheWidowDenk says
Oh, I think it was 2002/2003, something like that. I sat through many, many “mandatory briefings,” after course hours at Flag. That was well past my bedtime so I really only remember snippets of the concept. At the end of the “mandatory briefing,” we (the student attendees) had to fill out a selection slip for who we could get to Flag to be one of the 10,000. I kept filling out the same name each time. Wonder if my “selectee” ever made it. Remember, too, there were “mandatory briefings” once the newly trained auditor on OTVII returned home. I never once attended and even got chitted (once, only once) for not attending. I raised holy heck about that and never heard another thing about the chit or a “mandatory briefing.” Mr. Clive … was usually who was giving the “mandatory briefing.” Rabey? Perhaps.

In the OT Doctorate Course, LRH stated:
“At any one time on Earth there were not more than about 10,000 people of a caliber, that was sufficient to do a little steering or leading.”
“There’s only about 10,000 of them really.” – LRH
We calculated that 10,000 OT VIIs and OT VIIIs could do a lot of steering and leading, thus the target was born
——
‘Somewhere on the Doctorate Course’… Sounds just specific enough for the sheeple to buy it, but vague enough that anybody trying to find the *actual* reference (and, by extension, discover the context of the quote, which is probably nothing to do with trying to shovel people up the bridge) would be up against it.

It comes from PDC-61 HOW TO TALK TO FRIENDS ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY.

The OT7+8’s I’ve observed might be steering, but someone in the back seat is telling them where to drive.
Cat Daddy says
Than that person in the backseat is about three feet behind their heads 😉
indie8million says
Right, and if Ron said it in 1952 – 1953 when he did the PDC lectures, what was the population at that time? 4 billion people? Lemme look it up: NO! Only 2,675,766,194 in 1953!
So can someone who is good with math figure this out? If 10,000 people were all you would need in 1953, how many would be needed today with a world population of 7,181,474,816?
That ought to put Scientologists in apathy. We really need approximately 30,000 now, instead of 10,000…and we can’t even get 10,000. Anybody up there in Int ever think about lowering the prices so that more can get on? Oh no.
Here’s the reference on the world’s population: http://www.geohive.com/earth/his_history3.aspx
David J Mudkips says
And if they ever manage 10k, you’ve just explained how they’ll revise the target upwards. It will be the new Why.
Though all being well, RCS will be ground into dust long before they hit the target
BareFacedMessiah says
OT IX and OT X would be released then. I was told this on my “become part of the OT X Auditors group” recruitment cycle when I was on the Freewinds – not FreeWins :(.
I have heard rumors that Diana Hubbard had an argue with DM about this precondition. She was against it.
This was verbal, so not confirmed.
I mentioned the 10,000 hurdle here:

Idle Morgue says
The 10,000 was to reverse the theta to entheta ratio. 60 years to make 6,300? This is a lie!! Scientology creates nothing but ENTHETA while it fleeces its members and abuses them to obtain money and free labor!
The 6,300 is embellished. You can’t believe anything Scientology reports – the lies are so easy to prove!
There are 7 billion people on Earth – what Scientologist can hang on to the thought that 10,000 OT Sevens will do anything for anyone at anytime.
Most of them leave Scientology and fade into the fringes lurking on the internet pissed that they got duped! Most of them get declared! Some of them die or get ill. It is sad!
Most of the OT’s I have met are arrogant and unable to socialize like normal human beings. I think their ability to feel compassion and empathy for people gets audited out! Poor souls!!
Hallie Jane says
Wow Idle, that’s a pretty sweeping condemnation, I’ll have to disagree. Auditing is supposed to remove charge only, and leave none behind. The problem, with the squirrel gat shit that misscabage is putting out, is that it restimulates more than it removes. It does leave many in bad condition, which I can attest to. I know many OT’s who have left, who are very theta and cool, who have withdrawn support and are attempting to flourish and prosper and recover from the lying and corrupt agenda, that has been intentionally hidden. If you believe that beings are basically good, and that removing charge can be beneficial, then I wish you wonderful wins and gains, from the best that Scn has to offer. Good luck with whatever you choose.
