The bizarre relationship between scientology and the Nation of Islam is getting stranger by the day.
It would seem that scientology is winning the competition of who’s zooming who.
NOI members are becoming scientologists, but no scientologists are joining the NOI…
Here’s another:
This is Clear, Super Power Completion, Auditor & Power Field Staff Member Sister Nayyirah Tivica Muhammad.
Here she is at Flag graduation…
Will scientology ultimately consume the NOI?
It is fascinating to watch this marriage made in hell as it unfolds.
Miscavige had better be careful. Sooner or later Louis is going to figure out that his kingdom is being usurped and the recriminations will begin. I predict this is going to get very ugly.
Flying Scots Hedgehog says
This stuff is very weird and very disturbing. As far as I can work out, the NOI are into separating from the white people, into black independence, black pride and helping each other to flourish.
They seem to be getting so very close to enslaving themselves to a small, authoritarian, angry little white guy who is using the policies of another angry white guy to enrich himself.
Miscavige has lost an awful lot of his (white) indentured servants lately. Could we actually be moving towards the horrifying prospect of black people, already having fought white oppression for so long, being drawn into the Sea Org? Running around after Miscavige, shining his damned shoes?
Wendy Lederer says
Please help me understand this. This alliance follows no logic! What is the angle here? I don’t understand what the NOI would get out of hooking up with Scientology.
Dava Silva says
Late to the party, I suppose but still wanted to add my 2 cents. Considering LRH was very vocal in his disbelief of Jesus and the tenets of the Christian religion, there is zero reason to think he fwlt any different about Mohammed and the teaching of Islam. I don’t personally worry about this partnership but it does concern me for NOI members who might be swept up in the politics of this partnership.
carylane50@gmail.com says
The part that all of you weirdos miss is that the religion of Islam, as with all religions, is designed to put people on the path of personal development and self-improvement. But, of course, if you are a devil who is committed to devilishment, you wouldn’t be able to discern that, would you?
Both Scientology and the Nation of Islam have a proven track record of reforming people, improving their lives, helping them to live a life of integrity and honesty, and making them productive people. Scientology was designed to help white people, and the NOI is designed to help Black people. Both organizations have something to office the world. What program have you created or support that improves the lives of people? Any religion or philosophy or program that provides its followers with life-skills should be applauded. But when people are improved and begin to use their talents in the business world, wicked people will use all types of distractions because they don’t like competition in business, trade and commerce, do they? For when Black people and white people who have overcome their propensities to do evil and overcome their urges to provide useless opinions of others, when we come together, international trade and commerce will be conducted entirely different from how it is done today. So long as you people use distractions and dumbed-down opinions to keep people from using the tools that both the Nation and Scientology have to offer, you feel safe. But, too late. We will be the winners.

Both organizations are corrupt and by you using all those helping out words and phrases mean nothing at all. If you don’t believe me believe this; a good tree will produce healthy fruit but a bad tree will produce rotten fruit. If you want to find out if any religion or organization is truly good, look at what they do, do they follow biblical teachings? how are they funded? who are they 𝙵𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐? If any of the answers comes back dirty, then there you have it, It’s corrupt, it’s no good and It misleads millions.

Tony Muhammad at Ebony Awakenings cut into 4 videos
tony talks a little about his shady past

” LF Knew L Ron Hubbard long before he (LRH) was in His Mothers womb..and before I (LF) was in mine” (LF)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJKl09S9VVk
more personal observations
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA8idr6_O9E
they are energetically talking about “murdering devils” to an enthusiastic applause
(the reference of Murdering devils is part of the Supreme Wisdom)
starting at the beginning of the video for context …the murdering devils referenced at about 4 minutes..
Tony Muhammad talks about Altering the Language of Scientology (again Mentions Farrakhan’s blessing to do so again in this series of videos :and elsewhere where He gave a dianetics speech) here’s hes doing this: deceptive alteration.
hes trying make it seem like its part of the Supreme wisdom. injecting “Reactive Mind” in it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzGH7zFGypc
somewhere in these 4 videos he briefly references altering the language… as well
Rick D says
at the beginning of this video Tony Muhammad makes a stunning comment:
“the minister (LF) came in and commissioned me (T-Mo)to take the language (Scientology) “right” and translated into our language (Supreme Wisdom)”
he goes on:
“so when I use Dianetic terms I am gonna tell you where they are in our teachings”
and:
So that we wont have any MU’s (Misunderstood words aka Scientology word clearing)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcSAcLKZUrQ

I didn’t watch all of it but what I did watch was interesting. Along with the radical parts and references to NOI tenets it also shows how people can accept the sensible parts of scn which in the beginning lures people in. For example he explains to the audience about the “four flows” and it’s not just what they did to you, but also what you did to them, what they did to each other, and what you did to yourself. This would be a new concept to people with no background in philosophy or psychology as most entry level scientologists and NOI are. Good job.
Richard says
By not watching “all of it” I meant the Ebony Awakening section not the video above. On the “EA2”, Ebony Awakening section 2, he’s bragging that he’s a Class 4 auditor and solo auditing on the clearing course and gets a round of applause. Apparently he’s been sent forth to duplicate current scientology. I don’t know how close the Miscavige version is to the originals from Hubbs or how much it’s been squirreled. Now that the NOI is incorporating scn into it’s own belief system it seems that many degrees of squirrel-ness lie ahead.
Rick D says
In some of the other videos Tony talks glowingly about using Scientology to expand the Nation of Islam. one of the plans Tony has publicly floated, Is the plan to finance a rural farm and populate it with Homeless to run Narconon style detox.
LF wants what Scientology HAS, a cheap labor force. the Labors’ and the rank and file of the NOI aren’t going to work for peanuts….indoctrinating vulnerable homeless men and women who will work the street corner stress test…
It also looks good to seemingly help the less fortunate..great for PR purposes..
LF gets a cheap labor force to roll out the lager plan.
They are not to the point to bring in foreigners on a religious visa..yet
its very much part of their grand plan.

This union with DM and LF is way too bizarre. I find it shocking. I have a great (but lengthy) Farrakhan story. Back in 1996-99 I played in a bi-racial R&B band called True Blue based out of Oakland/San Francisco. We did several gigs for the Black Shriners, one was a huge convention I think in Fremont or San Jose. My other guitar player and I were the first to arrive and we were suppose to go to the 8th floor to the ballroom. We took the elevators and when the doors opened we were greeted by two suited and serious, African American men that told us we couldn’t be up there. We explained we were playing and they said we had to get the hotel manager. When we got back down and was looking for the manager, there was a chaotic press conference going on in the bigger part of the lobby, and it was Farrakhan…TV reporters, the whole nine yards. It was during a time when he was getting death threats apparently, and security was tight. His suite was on the same floor as the ballroom. We ended up having to go in a different elevator, and were escorted by the manager and the bodyguards to the ballroom, guitars in tow. When the rest of the band arrived and we got all set up, there were bodyguards stationed around the outside walkway of the ballroom, (which was all glass overlooking the city), and they watched us the whole time we played. Even had one stationed by the restrooms. I tried to talk to them, but they didn’t want to….just “yes ma’am, no ma’am and they wouldn’t look me in the eye. They were NOT chatty at all. Maybe they thought this skinny 5 foot bottle blonde was a hit person with a machine gun in my guitar case….lololol.The Shriners were none too happy about the whole affair and the African American singers in the band said they thought Farrakhan was there to try and recruit people from the Shriners. I CANNOT see Cos and Farrakhan mixing at all, unless for some sort of weird publicity…..

In any case, this is historical and how it plays out looks good since there’s no way this can turn out good for Scientology nor NOI, other than they will start anti campaigns against each other, and some of both sides will dribble out of both their groups.

Off topic: there’s a video on YouTube of Farrakhan playing the second movement of Mendelssohn’s violin concerto. For someone who hates Jews as much as he does, you’d think he’d pick a gentile composer’s music to play.
Aquamarine says
bix, I don’t recall where, but I read somewhere a statement by Farrakhan, igiven in an interview, that he actually does not personally hate Jews but rails against them purposefully in his speeches, targets them as the cause of most of the world’s ills in his speeches, in order to rile up his followers who, he says, have strong grievances against Jewish people. I’m not saying this in defense of Louis Farrakhan as I despise this sociopath! But he was quoted as saying that. Whether its true or not I have no idea, he’s a sociopath either way.

Saying NOI is joining $cientology, is like saying Japanese Yakuza members are joining MS13.
They aren’t joining, they are infiltrating. Gathering all of the information they can, climbing the bridge as high as they can, and when they have what they want, they will use the information to advance their agenda, “improve” their own organization, and leave $camology in the dust. If they can strip resources and/or gut the $cilons as they leave, they will.
$camology is money rich and membership poor. Anemic. Weak. If there is an angle that can be played, NOI will play it to the hilt.
Idle Morgue says
My guess Cult leader Farrakhan will take over Scientology soon. Here are the top reasons why.
1. He’s taller
2. He is backed by a lot of BIG and tough men who are taller
The are not in a gulag getting tortured licking bathroom floors and punching each other – stripped of all human rights and dignities.
3. He is backed by a ton of women who are taller.
4. He has support of many more members who will also take over Scientology and oust David Miscavige once we are finished briefing them of Scientology leaders criminal and inhuman treatment of human beings.
5. David Miscavige is secretly and covertly hated by everyone who knows him. He has no real friends or support.
6. They now have the tech to obtain super powers and take over the world so they can rule the world.
What will they call NOI / Scientology ?
Answer: NOI
Scientology has too bad of a reputation !
Kyle says
When/who was the last person to defect from NOI and tell about it?
Komodo Dragon says
1. “He’s taller” Too funny!! Cabbage head boy is not laughing however.
Richard says
I can see that as a possible scenario. Farrakhan is only interested in the mental procedure part of Hubbard/Scientology, in a word the auditing.
In time the NOI could have enough trained personnel to set up their own independent auditing centers under whatever name they call them and bypass the COS entirely.
In that scenario the “Universal Processing Center” makes sense. Here’s one version I saw:
The Supreme Wisdom Track
The Practice of “How to Eat to Live” Track
The Dianetic Processing Track
The Administrative Technology Track
In the 1970’s scientology was rapidly expanding as most people got benefits from lower level “processing”.
Ann Davis says
That’s what I was thinking Kyle. I agree with that assessment.

A good description of islam is as follows:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjBDDC4wVxk
It is probably a case of infiltration – that is the history of islam.
Aquamarine says
Except that Nation of Islam has NOTHING to do with the religion of Islam – nothing. Islam does not recognize Nation of Islam as one of its sects. NOI does not believe in the Koran.
NOI requires that its members take Muslim names, and has taken the word “Islam” as part of its name but that’s the extent of its connection.
Similar to how Co$ has a cross on its buildings to create a link up with religion, to ingratiate themselves with the religious community because many people have a link up between a crucifix and a church.
Well, a lot of African Americans have a relatively new awareness that their slave ancestors captured out of Africa were Muslims. Many know now that their last names are the surnames of the people who once owned their slave ancestors. This awareness creates an interest in Islam. They’re not Aftricans, they’re not Muslims, but they know there’s this connection. They’re hungering for their true identity. Anyway, what NOI does is play on this desire of many African Americans for their true identity. NOI tells them, with perfect truth, that they don’t really KNOW their “real” names. NOI tells them their REAL names would be Muslim names if they hadn’t been brought here as slaves, so they should adapt a Muslim name, which is usually Muhammed for the men. That’s the NOI angle. But NOI is not true Islam in any of its forms. With NOI, Islam is all just window dressing, like the Christian cross, and celebrating Christmas and Easter is the Church of Scientology’s window dressing.
1984 says
If you follow Dr. Bill Warner, Director and Founder of the Center for the Study of Political Islam, you will find that he quickly makes the case for islam and political islam.
You can call it not true, but it is on the same path. What you say is one thing, what you do is another. This applies here, as deception is an acceptable action in islam.
1984 says
Dr. Bill Warner, Director and Founder of the Center for the Study of Political Islam, makes a factual case for the intention of “political islam” and “islam”.
Deception and infiltration is at the core. (BTW, they define their own definition of “perfect truth”.)
If noi is not a supporting piece of islam, then islam would attack it? (That’s not happening.)

Similar to LRH. And Davy too. But Davy is pretty low on that scale. Davy has to use a lot of force, abuse, and lot of ranting and lying.

I’m having trouble believing that the NOI would get involved with $cientology at all for one reason alone. It has white people in it. (No I’m not racist) The NOI has very strict rules regarding white people, and the fact that Farrakhan has allowed his people to interact with them is totally mind blowing. Bottom line is he has to be aligning himself to get money or some other nefarious purpose. I agree with the other commenters, this will end REALLY bad.
Mike Rinder says
YEs, I asked someone from the NOI what would happen if I tried to attend a service in one of their mosques. They told me I would not be permitted to attend due to the fact I am caucasian.
afallfromagreatheight says
The whole foundation of the NOI is separation from Caucasians (white devils to be exact) by the way, totally different from the TRUE teachings of the Muslim religion, but I just remembered that they do have one thing in common, the belief that a spaceship and aliens are the beginning of their faith. I can’t remember all the details, but…..hmmmmm.
I still wonder how Farrakhan explains his alliance with Davey Crocket (snorting laughing???) to his followers. The NOI is just another cult, so that may explain a lot.
I’m jazzed that you answered my post Mr. Rinder. Thank you! I’m honored.

Jew Boy says
A lot of people really don’t understand what an evil man Farrakhan is. Here is a man who preaches hate in a most eloquent way. If I were still in Scientology I would have quit right than if I had heard that Scientology was in bed with Farrakhan. He hates whites and especially hates Jews and even a few weeks ago had a hate filled speech, ranting about how the Jews are the bringer of all evil. I know people who were Jews like the Minkoffs whose family members are not in Scientology and are strongly religious. Yet say nothing about one of the most bigoted men in our country. They wouldn’t dare speak their minds. As nuts as Hubbard was he would not have stood for this. A couple of years ago I went on U-tube and there are quite a few former NOI members who are outraged that Farrakhan joined up with Scientology so the ball goes both ways.
bixntram says
I’m outraged that no one else seems much outraged about the blatant anti-semitism of Farrakhan and his minions. Yes, the Southern Poverty Law Center at least had the courage to list NOI as a hate group, but why haven’t more people spoken out? Obama for starters; then all the prominent black politicians and cultural leaders. They rant about racism, yet remain silent about Farrakhan’s very vocal diatribes against Jews. Hypocritical bastards! Ditto all the caucasian “progressives” who get so incensed about a miniscule number of KKKers and neo-nazi skinheads spouting their nonsense – but give the NOI a free pass. God forbid we should be politically incorrect and say anything negative about black people! They disgust me.
Kyle says
It does give one pause, when a white man will lose his entire career for saying the “N” word on tape, but a correctly colored organization can say whatever they want.
Andrea (i-Betty) Garner says
There are an estimated 10,000-40,000 members of the NOI so they are a tiny organisation comparatively speaking. At its peak the KKK had 4 million members – obvious there are just a fraction remaining today – but they remain in the public’s memory as a very real abhorrence. I think, just like Scientology, NOI is too small to raise much notice.
Kyle says
I guess my point is more along this line:
Make a video disparaging jews and supporting the racial segregation of the country. Post it publicly on Youtube.
The consequences to your reputation and professional life will, with a high probability, completely depend on your skin color and political affiliation.
Aquamarine says
bix, respectfully, I think you have a misconception as re the attitude of most progressives toward the NOI. I am not Jewish but I do business with many people who are. They are appalled by Farrakhan. I am MORE appalled than they are!
But bix, these are people who are the sons and grandsons of WWII, Greatest Generation. Their fathers, grandfathers, etc were Jews in Germany, Hungary, Poland. Some of them have decedents who are Holocaust survivors.
The way they deal with hate speech is to be VERY aware of it, yet to not go head to head. They feel (I was told this by several wealthy Jews with whom I do business) that to engage publicly with Farrakhan would only give a hateful madman credence and more of a voice. Instead, they pay attention, but don’t react. They go about their business, living their lives. They ignore him. Now, how they CAN ignore him is AMAZING to me but that’s their strategy; pay attention ALWAYS, react, never.
They’re in America; they have tremendous person rights and freedoms and they are VERY AWARE of these rights and freedoms and protections, and THAT’S what they concentrate on, that’s what they’re vigilant about- keeping these rights and freedoms, not Farrakhan’s venom, which, by the way, is very largely condemned by the press – at least, in the things I read. And also, bix, I live in a very rich, blue state. Not that I’m rich, but its a rich, progressive state and I’d say that most people in my state. Jewish or not, shrug off Farrakhan as a crazed crackpot, the dark skinned opposite of the likes of David Duke. The press here reports what he says and shrugs him off too, with the contempt he deserves.
bixntram says
Okay, I get what you’re saying, Aquamarine. I still think it’s a dangerous attitude. I’m not Jewish but I can somewhat understand why some Jews, especially wealthy ones, don’t want to fan the flames by reacting publicly to Farrakhan. But consider what’s happening in Europe: the ubiquitous Islamic anti-semitism, which the powers that be aren’t addressing, has resulted in Jews being murdered and assaulted. Jews can’t walk the streets in many neighborhood, and many have immigrated to Israel, the Anglosphere and elsewhere. In a way, the Islamic radicals are completed Hitler’s goal of making Europe “Jew free.”
I’ve gone off topic here – but I think giving Farrakhan a free pass by dismissing him as a crazy crackpot, as much of the media is wont to do – is a dangerous mistake. Now, everybody hates David Duke, and no journalist is going to go broke exposing him or others of his ilk. Being white, they’re “safe” targets, whereas Farrakhan, being black, is definite not a “safe” target from any aspiring journalist’s point of view. Okay, I think I’ve belabored this enough to make my point.
BTW, I love the phrase you used; “a rich, progressive state,” something I think about when I shop at my local “people’s food co-op” and see all the wines, cheeses and grass-fed steaks that are well beyond my and my spouse’s fixed retirement income. What an interesting culture we live in.
I appreciate your lengthy response, as you always have great commentary here on Mike’s blog.
Aquamarine says
Thank you, bix. Have to say, I share your concerns as re the passivity of the Jewish community in general and the Jewish demographic in Europe in particular. But let me point out that Europe has ALWAYS been quite anti-Semitic! Even before they were over-run with people from the Arab countries, for centuries it has never really been that safe to be a Jew in Europe. It was only a few centuries ago that Jews lived in Ghettos in Europe.
Where Jews HAVE been safe is America. And maybe Canada but about that I don’t know. But in America, Jews found a safe space and they flourished here, in so many ways. Their work ethic and their emphasis on education made them successful. So, they’re safe, but you have a point; maybe they feel TOO safe and they’re taking their protections as Americans for granted.
On the OTHER hand, white Europeans as frequently anti-Semitic as they are, are a LOT more tolerant of dark skins than white Americans are. Much less prejudice against black or brown people in Europe!
The rule of thumb seems to be that you don’t want to be Jewish in Europe and its always been rough being dark skinned in America.
Anyway, I have argued respectfully with these Jewish business acquaintances of mine, people I respect, and they maintain that so long as they are protected under the law (here in America) they can deal with hate speech, because its speech and it can’t hurt them. They feel certain that Farrakhan would never dare to incite physical violence against them. That would finish him. There are laws against that.
Last but not least, be assured that I too, go to the market and see lots of pricey food I can’t afford Good thing that I never lost my taste (from my young days) for mac and cheese, tuna casserole, sauteed chicken livers with mushrooms and rice, and last but not least, my favorite comfort food, Cambell’s tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich! Groceries are a fortune nowadays.
Aquamarine says
PS: I also love (and make) potato pancakes, split pea soup and lentil soup. I love this stuff! And you can’t get any cheaper food, I don’t think. I work a lot so for me its a time issue to shop and cook. But what a treat to be able to stay home and cook something simple from scratch. Heaven, really.

in the above graphic on this blog post by Mike.. he says Andrew Coates Is his auditor.. a quick search I was able to find more on Andre Coates, he Is a newly minted OT5 and worked out of the DC Org…which Is closest to Alim. you can find Andrew D Coates Scientology Service Completions (51 completions) here.
https://www.truthaboutscientology.com/stats/by-name/a/andrew-d.-coates.html whats instring to not about all of this Is.. its become apparent the NOI Is creating their own brand… of Scientology and their own distinct and “separate” agenda… I would also like to mention that way back in 2005 when Alfreedie Johnson was secretly training members of the Nation of Islam at his now defunct World Literacy Crusade along with WLC and Nation of Islam logos, I came across numerous Certificates that bore the World Literacy Crusades moniker along with along with Nation of Islam logos Johnson and Tony Muhammad’s signatures ..he called it the “Master Learners Program”.. Alfreddie was still trying to score a buck with this very program online as recent as 2015.there was a employee of the WLC Reuben Muhammad whose certificates also included a WLC and NOI approved Frank A. Gerbode’s Traumatic Incident Reduction aka TIR.on prospective NOI converts as part of their Squirreled Tech (google Frank A. Gerbode you will learn hes a former Scientologist) I also came across Alfreddie and Hanan Islam involvement with TRI and they were both Trained in TRI… there are also videos of Alim Muhammad using TIR at a group meeting at Muhammad Farms with Hundreds of NOI members present..( this meeting occurred days after Louis Farrakhan gave his Laborers meeting announcing Scientology to his Laborers.) for more details you can check the thread at exscn, http://www.forum.exscn.net/threads/members-of-the-nation-of-islam-are-practicing-the-religion-of-scientology.43362/page-22

Muki has the distinction of being the first person to squirrel BOTH scientology and NOI. He needs a new certificate. On the last page of comments on the ESMB thread you posted it says he’s backing off a bit. I guess he doesn’t want to get “declared”. haha
Supreme Wisdom = The wisdom of Master Fard Muhammad and Elijah Muhammad (co founders of NOI)
Supreme Technology = Dianetics and Scientology
Richard says
I’m being satirical about Muki but I have to give the man credit for being an original thinker. Here’s a short excerpt of his vision for the Universal Processing Center which he describes as four tracks.
The Supreme Wisdom Track
The Practice of “How to Eat to Live” Track
The Dianetic Processing and Training Track
The Administrative Technology Track
Muki writes, “The Universal Processing Center would manage the process of individuals along all four tracks to the extent needed for the individual to attain to the highest human perfection and potential ever seen on the planet. Careful attention needs to be devoted to to orchestrating the relationship of each track to the other tracks, . . . (etc., he continues)”
Richard says
Farrakhan wants his flock to audit and Muki presents his ideas on how to get it done.
The NOI has dietary doctrines. Healthy body, healthy mind. Muki sells quack food, food supplements and food cures. He might not even have any firm belief in NOI scripture but aligns himself with NOI to have a customer base. He has other woo talks about and possibly sells and he might be deciding whether he wants to sell food and supplements to the NOI or start his own religion.
I’m curious as to what procedures and terminology the NOI uses when they want to boot out a squirrel. Maybe they’ll adopt scn ethics tech. oops
Kyle says
Wallace Fard Muhammad and Malcom X might be able to tell you.
PeaceMaker says
I’m not quite following there – was the NOI dabbling with Gerbode’s TIR before fully getting on board with Scientology? The whole “Universal Processing Center” sounds very squirrel, and it’s hard to imagine given that Scientology has had such a long campaign to eliminate any unorthodox practices.
Also, some of the NOI-related material on that linked thread refers to “the Black Muslim Scientologist.” It seems to me that could create a problem for Scientology continuing to claim it’s a religion – they had to specify in the IRS agreement that “Scientologists are expected to and do become fully devoted to Scientology to the exclusion of other faiths” because that’s the normal construction of religions, and so if Muslims can join and remain Muslims, that suggests Scientology is something other than a religion and is in further violation of the IRS agreement.
The whole thing seems very fraught for Scientology. I don’t know what Miscavige could have been thinking, or why it’s been allowed to evolve as it has. Though if TIR was starting to make inroads with the NOI, maybe they thought that they had to head off that “squirreling,” and dove in without thinking through the implications.

The World Literacy Crusade was training NOI members under the radar in 2005 ….Alfreddie Johnson had TRI training introduced along side his Master Learners Course (several low level Scientology courses).. Here’s the Certificate :https://whyweprotest.net/attachments/hebsjlb-jpg.268341/
It has the location as the World Literacy Crusade in the lower left hand corner..this certificate Is for Reuben Muhammad who was an employee of the World Literacy Crusade at the time..Reuben Is a member of the NOI
there’s also documentation online that states Alfreddie and Hanan Islam were trained to deliver TRI..
it was done with Mosque #27 members which was Tony Muhammad’s mosque in Compton
here two of the Master Learners Certificates…
with the World Literacy Crusade and NOI logos on the top of the document…
and Alfreddie and Tony Muhammad’s signatures..

NOI
pictures the WLC published showed maybe a dozen NOI people studying…
that also served as Alfrauddie bogus church True Faith Christian Church … which never was a church…or ever held church services.. or file taxes..
its where they sold bogus section 8 vouchers
its where Fred Shaw jr Alfreddie Johnson and Hanan Islam ran the Compton Branch of the NAACP..
its where they defrauded MediCal for 3 million dollars…
and a list of 40 other scams ..
it was located in an Industrial park …that dump was small …
on the good news front
Hanan Islam and Her 3 children trial is slated to start on Aug 28th .

IMO, the campaign wasn’t about squirrelling as much as missing payments to DM’s coffers.

I find it odd that the “whales” who actually live and conduct business in the real world tolerate this alliance with NOI. Would they allow themselves to be captured on film with these extremists?
Not to worry…Scientology seems to have it’s own little apartheid world going. Farrakhan can get his commissions and the majority of members can just tiptoe and whistle past the graveyard.

Coming soon: “The First United Church of the Nation of Islam and Scientology”
Or will it be . . .
“The First United Church of Scientology and the Nation of Islam”
I guess they can fight it out for top billing.
Somebody blowing The First United Church of . . . (whichever) and starting something new could become a squirrel in two religious cults at once!
A combination of NOI and Scientology Squirrel Busters would be quite a sight.

Back in the Mid-2000s, there was a story going around that a Buddhist spiritual leader in India had accepted the teachings of Hubbard and that this was going to boost the membership of Scientology be several millions by the year 2008.
I don’t remember any more about this but obviously it never happened.
At least there is a certain synergy between the beliefs of Scientology and Buddhism.
With the NOI, there is no common ground at all.
I was still in when this partnership was first announced and even then, it struck me as a relationship forged in Hell. If Scientology was really the world’s fastest growing religion, then I don’t think the leadership would have wanted anything to do with NOI.
It begs the question of who or what is off limits to Scientology. If the KKK or NAMBLA wanted to embrace it, would Miscavige endorse these new relationships?
I imagine he would not, but then I was surprised when he got into bed with NOI, so who can say, really.

jere Lull (37 years recovering) says
Theresa, I agree that both scn and NOI are both prejudiced and abusive. Since they’re prejudiced against each other’s primary adherents, I suspect the abuse might be doled out against each other, making for *interesting* times

I initially figured that the NOI wanted to get some of the “tech” for self improvement, and for organizational control like “sec checks,” and would go their own way once they learned what they wanted. That would leave the CofS with the problem of another “religion” using Hubbard’s “work” and the “tech,” which would hard for them to challenge legally, but would further erode their intellectual property rights (they seem to have already ceded ground, including use of the word Scientology, to the indies).
It does seem that quite a few of the NOI leaders and members have now gotten sucked into Scientology, whether or not that was the original intent. ISN has also posted about a certain amount of controversy and pushback, especially at the grassroots level, there’s a chance that at some point such as when Farrakhan dies, there will be open dissension and even a schism over it.
I wonder if something that I think doesn’t really get enough consideration and coverage of in Scientology in general, the FSM commissions that the NOI leaders and organizers involved are getting from having their people do Scientology, hasn’t been a real seductive factor – I believe that at least one was listed as a top FSM, which means they must have been making 6 figures. It also occurs to me, I wonder if the NOI
members aren’t being lead during auditing to have “past life” recollections* in which they’re imaging themselves as African nobles and warriors, and if something like that isn’t particularly culturally appealing.
These is another area in which we’re lacking insider accounts that would give us some insight into what is going on, including what special concessions are being made for the NOI. Are their generally rather poor members* really paying full price for auditing? Could elements as significant as past life regression have been left out of their auditing, because it doesn’t fit with NOI ideology?
* For some explanation of how supposed “past lives” elicited in suggestive or hypnotic settings such as auditing are spurious, and generated by the mind’s imaginative mechanisms in a way similar to dreams, see for instance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Past_life_regression#Sources_of_memories
** There is some demographic evidence for this, including Pew research suggesting they are more likely to have incomes under $30,000, and less likely to own homes

Maybe the NOI leadership doesn’t care what people look at in a session. They’re all gonna wind up in the Mother Ship or Mother Wheel or whatever they call it anyhow. If it heads to Target 2 that validates both religions! Hopefully no NOI will accidentally get dropped off at the Mormon’s private planet.

Fashinating! You do have to be a wee bit impressed that some of the NOI are becoming Cl V auditors because that means they have to buy into what is in the books and the fact that LRH is a white guy. Calypso Louie must have had one hell of a cognition!

“Calypso Louie must have had one hell of a cognition!” laughter
Maybe he squirreled on his own religion and had a couple of blow out auditing sessions.

Calypso Louie would never allow any challenge to his reign. These NOI Clams are just following their Clam indoctrination and opening up businesses that seek to capitalize on their ‘advanced’ $cieno training. The ‘Abundant Life Health Attainment Center is just another house of Quack.
Sister Nayyirah Tivica Muhammad is skating on very thin ice. If she gets too close to Miscavige, she will be out the NOI door. Someone will have to be the example that shows the NOI red line. Sister Nayyirah may be that example. That is unless she ‘shares’ her commissions with the Louie. As that great philosopher Cyndi Lauper said, Money Changes Everything.

Mixing practices is okay at the beginning. CoS has to maintain that façade of being “pan-denominational”. That’s why this will become one hell of a source of entertainment, you know, sort of like the Iran-Iraq war (in the ’80’s?)- you can’t possibly care who wins, and kind of root for both sides to lose. At some point the NOI members will be informed that their religion too, is an implant. Or maybe not. It’s not like CoS actually follows their own policies. It wouldn’t be past them to grant an exception. Heck, maybe given enough NOI members in the CoS, and we’ll have Golden Age 3 – with any and all references to Islam and religion implants purged.
Bkmole says
Yes, this is getting more and more absurd.

“It’s hard to see what Farrakhan really wants.” It might be as simple as he wants his flock to audit. Somehow he came to the conclusion that Elron had discovered the way to mental superiority if you want to call it that and told his flock to go do auditing.
Without looking up the details, I think on Saviors’ Day in 2010 he announced that he wanted the NOI to do auditing which they started doing. Maybe it was Book One, DMSMH auditing. In later lectures he explained why he accepted Elron’s tech as valid.
If he’s now making money from it, it might have been expected or it might just be a bonus. Who knows.

People are absolutely nuts. Or made nuts after getting sucked into (or brought up in) a delusional belief system. Nation of Islam, Scientology… you name it.
I do not “respect” or “tolerate” any religion — any more than I would respect or tolerate the imaginary and lunatic belief system of someone locked up in a mental ward who believes in … flying pink elephants.
Mormons believe in magic golden tablets found in the woods (that magically disappeared). ?? Christians believe some old man went up on a mountain, talked to God, and came back down with a chiseled stone tablet filled with ten rules. (Seriously?) ?Scientologists, well, they believe imaginary space aliens are affixed to their souls that you can only get rid of by going up some “bridge” that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars or more to “do” ? Or some such shit.
But in any case, as I have learned, Scientology is not even a religion — just a giant tax scam run by a pack of rabid wolves. ?

“Or some such such shit.” Right on the money, Bill L.
Sarita Shoemaker says
@Bill L just to add to your Scientology portion of wackiness:
AND PEOPLE EARN A COMMISSION WHEN THEY COERCE SOMEONE INTO “DONATING” MONEY.
I’ve never known of another “religion” offering commissions on new memberships, member ‘donations’ or similar.
1) When we finally get our money back (hoping strongly) will the people that earned those commissions be forced to pay back their earnings?
2) Do those “earnings” from commissions get taxed?
3) If something goes haywire (like, for example, they become insane and hurt themselves or someone else) is this FSM person also held accountable or responsible for pushing them into scientology where they were made that way?
4) Does someone that is an FSM have to get a Business Permit?
5) How does FSM’ing all work in compliance with the laws of the land anyway? Are there any government oversights for abuse?
Glenn says
“An organization may not base compensation of outside stewardship resource consultants or its own staff directly or indirectly on a percentage of charitable contributions raised.”
The underlying principle of this standard is the protection of the giver. It may be more convenient, more practical, and more cost efficient for an organization to pay staff or stewardship resource consultants based on a percentage of charitable gifts received. But these and other advantages to the organization do not protect the giver.

Bill, don’t forget that those rules were the subject of fierce negotiation.
