I have restarted the Exposing Scientology podcast after a few months hiatus.
There are some earlier YouTube videos that I will be converting to podcast episodes and they will be available periodically over the next little while. But I wanted to restart the podcast with something new — and lucked out by having Michele Adair agree to join me. She has fascinating insight as a result of being a Mental Health Counselor in the Navy for 11 years and then marrying Rachael Hastings, one of David Miscavige’s former camerawomen. Michele shares helpful information and advice from her years of providing therapy to people who have been traumatized.
We did two earlier episodes with Rachael: Part 1 and Part 2
You can listen to Michele and I wherever you get your podcasts or click on this link to Buzzsprout where I upload them for distribution to the different streaming services.

Mike, is there anywhere to read the transcripts of your podcasts and videos? I am losing my hearing and would love to be able to read these. Thank you.
Mike Rinder says
The platform doesn’t provide one but I am pretty sure there are free apps that will do this for you if you provide the audio. Maybe someone reading this will have a suggestion/link to help you
Mike Rinder says
Now that it’s on YouTube there is a transcript if you go there… https://www.youtube.com/@mikerinder/podcasts

Thank you! I’ll check YouTube in the future. (Yes, I have hearing aids, but I prefer to read if possible)

Nothing could be more true.
If someone hasn’t been in scn, especially in the Sea Org, they can’t understand because little compares to it.
It took me more than 10 years to get both feet out, after that left.
Mike’s blog and the commenters have been a crucial help. Analyzing every aspect of scn and seeing it for what it is, not for what you were told it is.
Thank you, Mike.
Another great help has been meditation, as it stabilizes you with what you really are, nothing to do with scn’s nonsense.

Absolutely incredible episode. Michele seems like a absolutely wonderful person who is extremely kind and smart. I listened to the episodes with Rachael as well and I think the same of her.

I only know the crowbar method. This one hurts.
Mike Rinder says
I have no idea what this means?

I learned to act brutally quickly, without detours, without sugarcoating anything. I’m direct and efficient, which hurts people without being traumatized. That’s why I’m happy, hoping to learn new things, even with my poor English. Wishing you and all here a nice weekend!

I listened to this yesterday and I really enjoyed it! Michele was an excellent guest and gave a lot of useful information in this. She just seems like a great person in general.
Mike Rinder says
She is a smart, kind, honorable person – Rachael really lucked out!

Mike,
Why not consider adding your podcasts to your existing Youtube channel, where people already have you bookmarked and are used to checking for updates? You could add a podcasts “channel” there to go with the video and live channels there, couldn’t you? Many people listen to Youtube as well as watch it.
Mike Rinder says
Sheri — Christie figured out how to add this to my YouTube channel. Click at the top under “Podcasts” and it is there. New ones will be added as they come out.
