You can handled ANYTHING with Solo NOTs.
Except your finances.
Connection to your family.
The ever-shrinking orgs of scientology.
The terrible PR scientology has everywhere.
And pretty much anything else.
3 DECADES of bypassed charge handled with his first drilling of a can squeeze! That is really something, especially after saying how wonderful and stable it is to be an “OT V.”
1 Solo NOT’s completion per day. OMG. At this rate, they will have 1000 every 3 years. 10,000 in THIRTY YEARS.
They don’t even seem to notice how bizarre their statements are.
I guess this is the awareness you gain by being on Solo NOTs. Totally oblivious to the real world. That’s worth paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to achieve.

Sad in that this guy has paid so much just for the ability to challenge his thoughts. Getting rid of body thetans is no different than challenging what comes up in your mind, letting it go, and gaining the ability to move on with what you need to do.

Well with that kind of charge global energy crisis should be solved by just a few mighty OTs….. Now that’s something they could do to make mankind saner, less wars, blah blah, ….. I wonder why they aren’t making huge immediate global world stopping headlines? Mankind needs this kind of power

Mike Rinder says
Sorry, I have no idea so don’t have any light to shed.
Lawrence says
Mike: Let me shed a little light on the topic. What Warren Tardif is saying makes sense to a point that NOT’s and SOLO NOT’s are so exciting because one is handling the source of the reactive mind. Trying to copy unconscious or dormant mass or make a picture of it can pose problems to a thetan. But, then on the other hand trying to duplicate the confused misleading “mystery” that is the Church of Scientology today at the same time and get desired results can also pose problems to a thetan as well. 🙂
Joe Pendleton says
So let me get this straight from this past year’s promos … OT VII handles everything … EVERYTHING!!! … but … “New” OT 8s are REALLY getting to “be themselves” and handling what they haven’t gotten handled before by re-doing their OBJECTIVES!!!!! … makes sense (well, not really) … I’m all for addressing and handling whatever comes up in ANY auditing … it’s all good … except for the fact that you have to bankrupt yourself to do it … and you have to agree to crazy people running every single part of your life, including what you are allowed to THINK and who you are allowed to feel affinity for and to communicate to … other than those little things …….
Lawrence says
Joe: People that are indoctrinated into the church and don’t want to leave will do Objectives just to keep themselves out of the Sea Org and keep the Sea Org “in the dark” by saying the Objectives helped them when they really could not have in that context. Neither party wins “but seem like good Scientologists to each other”. Really, really, really, bad news. 🙂

Dear Mr. Hubbard,
Please share with us the means by which you acquired your knowledge of “thetans”. As I’ve never heard anything quite like it before, do you claim to be the only human privy to this information? Also, please show us a demonstration of somebody functioning without need of a body. Or perhaps you think people will just accept this as fact without question.
Sincerely,

On a lighter note, one wonders why the people observing L Rn Hubbard obviously faking remote vision twisted their minds into accepting it…

Dear Mr Hubbard
Even just point out to us ANYone you know who manifests your claims as to the abilities of so called OTs. Perhaps you can explain to us why so many of them died of cancer, became bankrupt, became criminal (I personally know two who swindled people out of their hard earning money with a ponzi scheme – after OT 8 and after the Ls), why so many commit adultery and/or became divorced and a good few have very complicated, unsatisfactory situation in their jobs, with their kids, money and health issues. I personally know several.

Joe Pendleton says
Dear Rational Person, “thetan” is merely the Scientology word for soul or spirit or the essential being as apart from the body. Now, the idea that you are something OTHER than physical and that “you” are not a body is either an idea that resonates with you or doesn’t. Most atheists (of which I am one as I do not believe in an all powerful supreme being/creator) profess that there is no spirit or non physical entity inside a body. I beg to differ as I do consider my essential self “other than physical.” In his book 8-8008, LRH goes over the idea of what a thetan/spirit is in some great depth. Again, that is an idea that is either “real to you” or it isn’t. If you read that book, you will either consider it “evidence” or you won’t. It rings true to me. I don’t happen to think any of the great artists in Earth’s history created FROM their physical cells, even their brains. I happen to think their creations are evidence of a spiritual nature … BUT … I realize that others, you?, have different opinions on this. And, as always, I celebrate different viewpoints.
Aquamarine says
Great answer and comment, Joe.
the enturbulated mongoloid says
My comment isn’t about whether we should believe in spirit souls, it’s about acknowledging the sources of one’s information especially when one speaks it with authority. Hubbard acted as though he knew a great deal about spirit souls. Where did he get his information? He made it up of course. He was no more of an authority on the matter than you nor I. My point is that nobody ever questioned the legitimacy of his claim to authority. It is all the more remarkable because his thetan theory is riddled with inconsistencies that demand explaining. That is to say, further explanation would be required by a more discerning discipleship than the one he had. Had the right questions been asked, Hubbard wouldn’t have looked so smart as he pretended to be.
Gary says
You’re dam right he made it all up.And the gullible just eat it up. And emptied there savings. I would have to rank this as the biggest scam in history .Bravo mr. Hubard, bravo.

Carl Sagan has something to say about this in his book, A Demon-Haunted World. He could change your mind.
Another good read about the “I” and what it actually is, is, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, by Oliver Sacks, neurologist.
Another one, Lifetides by Lyall Watson.
Between these three books, you may change your minds about what it’s all about.
These three scientist/writers haven’t thumb sucked or made things up. Nor do they claim to have all the answers.
Brian says
Joe, this soul information is as old as life itself. Ron’s claimings that he’s discovered anything is akin to claiming he’s discovered air.
Ron created his own vocabulary to separate himself from what is known so he can be perceived as unique.
Ron’s singular uniqueness seems to be in his ability to convince people of his fallacious scientism through Altitude Instruction per his writing of the same title.

Hi Joe Pendleton, As you do so well, another spot-on post. For me as the years continue to wind down, I find I have more clarity now in what I believe for me.I am not a member of any organized religion, but I know with total certainly that I am more than just body, brain and nothing else.I feel I will go to a Light when I pass on, but I have no idea how all that is accomplished.I’ll find out ! Laughter.Always Love,Ann.
Jens TINGLEFF says
It might help your understanding to read up on undue influence. Cults do not convince by rational argument, but by appealing to emotional weaknesses. They seek to exploit any weakness which makes you set aside your rational thought process. L Ron Hubbard called this “find their ruin” – that’s the essence of the approach.

Hi Mike, I have a question that I can’t seem to get an answer to- do some scientologists say they are not scientologists to ppl on the outside of the church? And if so, do you know why?
Mike Rinder says
I am sure there are. They are embarrassed or don’t want to answer the inevitable questions or think it will affect their job/relationship.
GTBO says
Mentioning Scientology cost me many clients and working relationships. So I would recommend not letting anyone know about Scientology unless you are out.
McCarran says
Some say that they aren’t or leave that piece of information out of it (that they are a scientologist) because they know outright or intuitively that admitting it makes one think less of you and/or won’t hire you, do business with you or be friends with you. If you’re good at withholding that even in auditing, then you’re good but if it comes up, you will be “corrected.”

I’m pretty sure the D of P actually said the following but Warren miss heard it. “You CICS, you are a trained auditor and an OT V, it’s an outpoint that you are happy and winning in life. And from this point forward on your bridge, it no longer about you, it’s about the rest of your money.”
Either way, This is truly a look deeply in the bubble. The ‘only way’ talk is so key. It’s the ‘only way.’ It doesn’t matter how many people are hurt or even killed it’s the ‘only way.’ And since were on the ‘only way’ everything we do is ethical and justified not that as OT we need to justify our actions. Don’t look at the effects of your actions just remember “it’s the only way.” Any doubts just remember “It’s the only way.”
3 Decades of bypass charge handled in drill. Wow, all that auditing failed to handle some bypass charge. kind of puts it the whole exact tech that can handle any problem into perspective. Also, shouldn’t he have to redo that auditing since he just admitted it was run on out rudiments?
MostEthicalPimp says
Who owns the rest of Warren’s dynamics?? Is that David Miscavige? And is he selling them back to him piecemeal?
I Yawnalot says
Regarding Solo NOTs and NOTs in general – miscavige writes issues on it, promotes & then sells it doesn’t he?
That should tell you all you need to know about it. It’ll not only take all your money and put you in serious debt but it also destroys your relationships as well as implanting false hope and goals, but as a real treat for ‘let him die miscavige’ it’ll fuck you up! Just reading those flyers is sickening.
Miscavige needs and wants all financially able scientologists on that level – think about that!
And I’ll guarantee miscavige sure as hell isn’t doing it.

This couldn’t be for a brand new person – or if it is they’ve firehosed them with yabber that no one but someone “in” could even understand.
Just read what they wrote with fresh eyes or the point of view that every acronym or code or scientologese word is an actual word.
Read it out loud (video would be fun to see). It’s hilarious. My spouse (never in) does this with our colorful letters, magazines and such.

There OTVIIs I know who are in good standing with CO$ and doing well, and there are other in good standing OTVIIs I know who are struggling.
The difference between the former and the latter is that the former are applying common sense to their finances and other dynamics and the latter are not.
In fact, I suspect that the 2 OTVIIs I know who are doing well are to some degree UTR.
Perhaps coincidentally, the OTVIIs I know who are struggling are the koolaid swilling types who blindly follow any order that comes down the pike no matter how unreal and harmful it is.
OT is as OT does. The successful, productive OTs seem to have a clear concept of this.
The struggling OTs seem to operate as if all they can glow things right via the plaques on their wall, while at the same time they are smug and self satisfied as if they have it all together. Meanwhile, they subsist by scrounging jobs here and there, or off of the hard work and products of family members and spouses.

Aquamarine says
Good point, Yawn. You’re right; “struggling OT” is, or should be, an oxymoron because if someone IS an “operating thetan” than why would he/she be struggling?
So for that comment I should clarify the definition of “OT” as someone who happens to have a plaque on the wall stating that he is.
Of course, that’s never been MY definition of an OT. Far from it.
In fact, I think there are PLENTY of people who are “OT” who’ve never heard of Scientology. I think that all of us, actually – every last one of us, is, at any given time, to some degree or another, “OT”.
