PHILIPPINES VM DISASTER RESPONSE IN THE WAKE OF TYPHOON HAIYAN
Over 10,000 people are believed dead after one of the worst storms
ever recorded, Typhoon Haiyan, made landfall in the Philippines on
November 8, 2013.Unleashing ferocious winds with gusts of up to 235 miles per hour
and giant waves, Typhoon Haiyan leveled or washed away homes and
schools and damaged over 90 percent of the infrastructure in the
areas hit. An estimated 5 million people are affected and there is
currently a severe shortage of food and clean water. In alignment with the purpose of the Scientology Volunteer
Ministers program—to bring effective help wherever and whenever
most needed—the IAS has provided an emergency grant for VM disaster
response efforts in the affected areas in the Philippines. The grant funds flying in a team of professional VMs, including IAS
Freedom Medal Winner Ayal Lindeman, to direct the VM disaster
response activities. They will train up a large team of local VMs
so they will be able to help the scores of traumatized people with
assists and VM tech, help with food distribution, removing debris
from streets and cleaning up houses. The grant covers local transport costs, food, water, water filters,
cell phones, protective gear and tools. It also includes bicycles
as no cars can travel to many of the disaster-stricken areas. The Volunteer Ministers will travel to the worst hit areas
including Samar Island, Cebu Province, Tacloban City and Leyte
Province, to provide their services to those in need, and to the
rescue workers helping them.Volunteer Minister disaster response is made possible
only through your support of the IAS.Donate Now

And the local “OTC” is getting on board.
But horror of horrors, don’t let this get onto the Razzline!
Just make your “flow” now and let me know so I can ensure I collect my commission (as I am not making a hell of a lot of commissions trying to get people to give money for this stupid PAC Auditorium).

PLEASE DO NOT POST ON RAZZLINE
Dear PAC OTC,
Although I am working on the PAC Base Auditorium Project, I felt compelled to send this email to you as Scientologist to Scientologist. You’ve heard of the devastation in the Philippines from one of the worst storms to reach landfall in recorded history. More than 1,800 have perished and hundreds of thousands have been displaced. Thankfully, we are there helping. IAS Freedom Medal and VM extraordinaire winner A. Linderman is in the Philippines now with other VMs putting order into chaos and helping the Philippine people with assists and other VM tech. Supplies and many more VMs are needed. This is all being funded by an IAS grant.
If you can make a flow to the IAS now, you will be helping to salvage these people and convert unimaginable amounts of entheta to theta. So please call your IAS terminal of choice now, or as soon as you can, to make your flow. It doesn’t matter if it is a little flow. Lots of little flows will equal one big flow.

With all these hired actors they’ll be diluting the GAT II party, I guess it’ll be a little difficult to tell how many NOIs are among them.
Gus Cox says
“…so they will be able to help the scores of traumatized people…”
By their own admission, estimates of 5 Million are affected. So they are going to help “scores” – what’s that, 60, 100, maybe 200 people could be considered “scores” of people.
Forget “Super-Literate.” Even just plain old literate would do these assholes a lot of good.
They are also a bit late, aren’t they? None of this happened until *after* Mike Rinder, Ortega, and a few others noted and the rest of us noted the conspicuous absence of Scientology attention on a massive disaster.
Last, for a bunch of assholes so fixated on PR, Scientology has the worst PR on the planet. The *only* reason there’s any attention on the disaster at all from this wretched “church” is because we noticed they weren’t doing a goddamned thing.
Planetary Salvage Campaign my ass. Scientology doesn’t give a shit about about the Philippines. Those worthless fucks are there because they think it makes them look good. Period.
Even Amway got smart and realized that every person in the US knew the name Amway and had a negative reaction to it. So Amway changed their name to Quixtar and NutriLite. So it is with Scientology, but it’s even worse than Amway was because they *can’t* change their name.
Scientology’s PR is terminally damaged. Their is simply no way to salvage their image. They may as well not even bother to waste their time with the VM bullshit and just keep the money.
Which is really what they are doing here, isn’t it?
Gus
Paolo says
Gus, you are completely right and your advice is really spot on
Thoughtful says
Great summation. Exactly on point.

The money-machine has been running completely on auto fueled by the commission system. Those inside the bubble are at this point still oblivious to the sinking ship and won’t look up until someone taps them on the shoulder and tells them it’s all over. Even if DM is taken out of the picture at this point, you still have a runaway train, nothing other than people cont. to leave in droves is going to stop it. Don’t expect refunds, it’ll be siphoned dry until bankruptcy set in. This is all very deliberate, little to do with mismanagement — it’s business, the parishioners too duped to see it.
Jane Doe says
Gus thank you for the excellent post. So true.
breppen says
While there are people of good will that really want to help, if they only knew how sabotaged their efforts are by David Miscavige & Co, they would donate to the Red Cross instead who is actually effective.
Margaret says
Probably the “DO NOT POST ON RAZZLINE” warning is because Andrea Kluge (the author of the email) doesn’t want the Razzline admin to get the IAS commission — or have to split it with her. What other reason would she have for holding back this beg for “donation”?
The level of greed is staggering.
Formost says
Those 10,000 supposedly attending the GAT II event would be put to much better use helping the disaster-stricken in the Philippines. Sending only 10 clowns is just internal PR & fundraising.
Formost says
That was most effectively done getting the IAS off my lines.
Formost says
Until the IAS opens their books, they should be beaten, puked and pissed on mercilessly every time they open their mouths.
What are 10 yellow-coated jackasses going to do that amounts to nothing other than PR and marketing? CSI already has a budget for that. The IAS (A “supposed” private charity, not any Scientology Organization) likes to interject themselves between the parishioner and the church functioning like a virus or taxation system.
Moonshot says
This is simply disgusting.
Tacloban is a fairly large city. People are staving and desperate as we speak. The infrastructure of this city was simply destroyed. Despite the intense efforts of both the Philipinne and USA militaries, not to mention numerous relief agencies, the situation is still not under control and is quite dire for the affected residents. This is simply due to the scale of the disaster. At this time they need Food, Safe Water, and Medical Support as well as Miltary/Police type personnel to keep order. As areas are brought under control, they need crews to clear and clean up debris and find and remove dead bodies.
They dont need fucking therapy for their trauma, as the fucking trauma is ongoing. Assholes.
Paolo says
They are worse than criminals. When a disaster of such a proportion hits, even criminals tend to come to present time and behave. Criminals do not steal from the Red Cross. The IAS does just that: it steals money that could have been used to fund real help.
Anette Iren Johansen says
CRIMINALS! The VM disaster relief teams are nothing but a money making scam! I was part of the VM disaster relief team in Sri Lanka after the tsunami December 2004. We had to finance everything ourselves – NO SUPPORT from the criminal entity called IAS. We did help lots of people there, but we didn’t even get a commendation when we returned, still IAS filmed us on site to show off at the events. We were “prostitutes” for the IAS without knowing it. (More here for those interested: http://anetteiren.com/last-photo-heber-jentzsch/)
remoteviewed says
Thanks for the link Anette.
They couldn’t “afford” to send you there yet were able to afford a film crew.
Big out point on that one.
I agree with you the IAS is nothing but a criminal enterprise of the most basic form Ron describes in the levels of exchange.
remoteviewed says
Isn’t a “professional VM” an oxymoron? You know sorta like “Military Intelligence”.
Anyhoo….
How does anyone know that any money “donated” (mostly extorted at the lower levels or used as a bribe at higher levels of the CoS food chain) will be used in the relief effort?
I mean I think I only got a prospectus once in all the time I was forced to buy one of those stupid yearly memberships which since we are discussing “voluntary” was supposedly “voluntary”.
(Yeah about as “voluntary” as filing your taxes….
Anyhoo…)
Next.
It doesn’t seem evident to these people that the best assistance that the people of the Philippines need as in needed and wanted is probably, food, clothing, shelter and medical handling (which if you study actual Scientology instead of the squirrelly Government Approved version comes before assists) not some moron riding around on a bicycle like a circus bear through the detritus that once was a town handing out TWTH and giving the occasional nerve assist (they’ve totally dropped touch assists, body coms and locational assist from they’re repertoire and do nothing but nerve assists which Ron basically wrote for Chiropractors) and a Book 1 session which is of questionable workability in such an enturbulated and confused environment.
(Imagine someone giving the average Roman a Dianetic session while Rome is burning all around them and you get the idea.)
The problem is that many of these actual *Volunteer* (I’ll reserve judgment on the “Professional” ones) Ministers are good hearted people who are unaware that they are being used cynically as basically a photo op.
I won’t go into how the Botwo the Squirrel version of the Volunteer Minister’s Handbook NKA the “Scientologists” Handbook is just chalk full of squirrelly interpretations, alterations and in general bastardization of actual tech written by a bunch of unknown authors for hire and that if an actual Volunteer Minister wanted to be effective they’d throw that book out or use it as a door stop and get the actual Volunteer Minister’s Handbook at eBay, Amazon, Alibri or your local used Bookstore.
‘Nuff said.
scientology411 says
How does anyone write dreck like this with a straight face?
“If you can make a flow to the IAS now, you will be helping to salvage these people and convert unimaginable amounts of entheta to theta.”
Pepper says
“Funded by an IAS grant”.
How much, exactly? Why are the grant amounts never made public? It’s always vague and mysterious. Any other organization that donates money will openly state the amount. Never the IAS. The reason being is that they actually give zero to little money. I bet probably $10-25,000 at the very most. For an organization that has raised hundreds of millions of dollars. The VM’s have always had to pay their own travel costs, food, accomodations, etc. So now it’s being made a point that their expenses will be covered. Really? Let’s see how many people go with this elite team on the IAS’s tab, although it will never be disclosed.
“Assists and other VM tech”
What VM tech specifically? Again, vague. What people in this situation need is water, food, shelter and medical care. They need REAL relief workers but if the VM’s want to go help clean up and give an assist, fine. Just don’t scam the public scientologist into thinking that the CoS/IAS is remotely capable of handling the disasters of the world and worse, that the IAS has any relevance in society. It has NONE.
I bet there will be fundraising done at the next few events for this, especially the IAS one. Sick.
Formost says
They used to have “sponsored by” connotating “financed by”. Now they say “funded”, and unless a figure is presented, it’s completely meaningless. Furthermore, unless independently audited and verified, I consider them the usual pack of pathological lies until proven otherwise. What stops them from deception when no oversight exists and are statistically hungry for more money. Don’t forget, if they got $10 million last week, they have to get at least one buck more this week, or else … it’s the decks.
VMs go out at their own expense, no money involved except for what will be taken in from donations of Photo Ops. This is how VMs are made to donate indirectly to the IAS and without their knowledge. This IAS conjob works on people who can be made to believe it’s alright because it’s in the interest of clearing the planet. Such 1.1 interactions are to be accepted as the “survival” norm because it’s supposedly for the greatest good. Point it out to parishioners, it will be instantly justified. Such is the indoc headf*ck.
Jane Doe says
Pepper, your post is very true and very well said. Wish the Kool Aid drinkers could read it.

This is being funded by an IAS “grant” so you need to make that “grant” that we just “postulated” because we sure as hell are not going to give them any money we already have. We are also not going to tell you how much money is needed, and we will also never tell you how much we actually raise. This is because we always manage to squeeze more out of you than we actually spend and you don’t need to know about that.

Be careful what organisation you give money to. Research them first.
The American Red Cross is almost as bad as the IAS if not worse and they performed pathetically in Haiti.

Pg. 68 Now, if you hit somebody with enough bad news – this is your important technical datum – if you hit somebody with enough bad news, force or duress, you can make them give you something. That happens to be a mental mechanism. Nobody ever really looks at this as a mental mechanism, but it is a mental mechanism. That’s all it is. If you hit somebody hard enough – and that would mean a blow or bad news, or you know, a blow in the field of mass and bad news in the field of significance – if you hit somebody hard enough, you can make him give you something. Blackmail is based on this. Government is based on this. Taxation is based on this.
Now, so these things can be manipulated from the other side, too. But this is a mental law – this is a mental law you should pay some attention to, because it’s the basic law which is used usually in government, extortion, blackmail, medicine, any of these things.

I hope that this mysterious team doesn’t fire until Nov 25. Otherwise, that would hurt event attendance.

Probably has to do with Andrea Kluge (author of the email) not wanting to share the IAS commission with the Razzline admin. Unbelievable, but probably true.
