How many times do you have to do the purif? If you haven’t taken LSD or psych drugs after the first purif, what to you get out of it, except hot, sweaty and a little poorer? This testimonial could be used for arthritis magnetic bracelets or even a sham-wow commercial. What was wrong with the first try at the purif, you didn’t sweat properly? There wasn’t enough blue gunk on the towels?
How many semi-colons were removed from the previous instructions? How complex can the instructions be: get hot, sweat, take vitamin overdoses, drink water, repeat.

I received some unverified information regarding Orgs having to pay rent to the Church for their “Ideal” buildings , even though those buildings were acquired through parishioners donations. Any comment on

I have an in-law who is an active Scion and lives in Clearwater. I had never given Scientology a second thought until he came into my life. This “man” has given over 200k to the cult in the last three years alone while his family lives in virtual poverty.
The chip on his shoulder is huge! He has no tolerance for simple dialogue concerning the “religion”. He is just always right. This is no man! I have to admit that “so surveyed” and “the epitome of professionalism” threw me a bit. If the purif is actually a methodical process those buzzwords really don’t apply. Question: Is the new Clear Body Clear Mind book 100% on Source? If so, does that mean that the old one was squirrel? How were they using the squirrel book all those years? How was the on Source material recovered? Where was it hiding?
I did the Purif when I was 12 or 13 years old. it was horrible. To this day I can’t stand taking vitamins. I can’t imagine doing it again now, all so I can see how ‘professional and surveyed’ it has become. Yuck.

Potpie, here’s what I think. They’re walking a tightrope.
On one hand, Miscavige has to get people to redo Bridge actions they have already done.
On the other hand, what the Sheeple have already done cannot be openly invalidated because, presumably, the public had wins on these things.
Also, any inval or admittance of former out-tech would leave RTC open to being accused of having delivered non-standard tech in the past, and charging for it.
Still, what was done in the past MUST be invalidated in order to convince these suckers to redo and pay for it AGAIN. So, what to do?
Well, they get cute with language, that’s all. They use covert inval tech. Without coming right out and saying it, it is IMPLIED – never actually STATED, but implied that the former action was delivered non-standardly.
From a purely legal standpoint this covers the church for refund requests and handles any ARC breaks. No-ones wins or gains are inval’ed yet the sheeple absorb the intended message, which is that they never really “got it” back then, and the regges use this as a Why for whatever is wrong with the sheeple in PT in order to sell them on the redo.

What I think is most important — TO ME — is the point of view of WHY does Mike continue this reporting —
A few weeks ago he said to a “troll” — he will continue with this blog and reporting UNTIL his own children trapped in this horrifically abusive cult (who are there because they were BORN into the cult – thus through no fault/choice of their own) is dissolved.
He and others have made it clear that in their opinion:
1) Miscavige will not resign
2) Miscavige will never change the disconnection PRACTICE – rampant daily
3) Miscavige will NOT be brought up on inurement and thus jailed
Etc …
The only hope is attrition as well as exposure to those who are WILLING to look. But then there are none so blind as those who will not LOOK.

Great points. I fall into despair sometimes too but then realize that I have to just keep my eye on the ball. One thing that helps me is knowing that the Internet is never far away from anyone’s fingertips and that people are curious by nature. I have some family members and kids in the RCS and I know that even they have checked out stories on the Internet and I can see they are quietly backing away. Time proves all things. The RCS does not have eternal power over people and it never will.
Nice to hear from you Windhorse. There’s another item. DM is aging, health issues can intervene and make him want to “retire”. His male menopause should be interesting, he’s already such a weenie. Also those 2nd generation Scngsts are one crisis away from having no idea how to support themselves. I know more than a few who are supported by parents and are in a delayed adolescence which will eventually get old. Don’t despair, we’re here, the tech is still here and life will discipline the individual.

It’s beginning to look like these GAT II grads are hard pressed to come up with the words to describe their wins. Most seem to denigrate their previous service (e.g. “This Purif was what my first Purif should have been.”). But then he goes on to say “Now, my first Purif was amazing…”, does that imply his new Purif wasn’t? And the new Purif “is so surveyed” – what the hell does that mean? Are we designing steps of the Bridge based on surveys? Can we now skip a bunch of Grade II processes because, well, they’re just not popular?
Regarding CBCM, “literally 10 times as good as the old one”, I just don’t know what to think about that. Not 8 times, or 12 times, but 10 times as “good”. I mean, when I read a book I either enjoy it, find it useful or enlightening or I don’t, but rarely do I feel compelled to assign a relative numeric “goodness” to it. He might as well said “This book is straight up and vertical”, because that makes about as much sense. And “I remember being slightly confused by the old one…” – oops, we all know what that means, provided Study Tech is still being practiced in the cherch.

He who is all knowing already knows who the #@*& I am. He sent Mike Sutter, Marion Pouw, Samantha and my daughter to my office in the Spring of 2010 to talk some truth to a potential bitter (although not yet defrocked) apostate and to be sure I would know what I was going to lose if I did not step into line.

So I can say that I have single handedly run every active public cult member out of the entire county I live in. The Daniells live in LA now even though they still own a house across the street from me. Sheri purchased a house in Sacramento and I think my son is now married into the Alley family of the same area.
Well I can tell you that my community is fully safe pointed against cult activities that may emanate from the church. Local officials such as county supervisors, law enforcement, local businesses and public agencies such as fire departments and forest service personnel all know something of the story. Reason, this is a very small community and I grew up here, I have been in business here for over thirty years and I also personally know the owners of the local internet, newspaper, and so on.
Furthermore, I have publicly stated that all of this has happened not because of the cult, but because of my own stupidity and the fact that I chose to do what I was told rather than to think for myself so this is not a blame game. It is not a get even game. It is a

Go for it Cece and anyone else who wants to whistleblow. It’s so strange how normal stable datums like “don’t lie” that a child would know, just get thrown out the window. Nothing holds a candle to the eternity of mankind so normal morals don’t seem important. Then the enormous “can’t have” that is run on the staff takes it’s toll and the environment goes dog eat dog. The gross out exchange of capable people working for years for very little, has a strong psychological effect on them for years and years. I think an important part of recovery is “Have for self”, ie; it’s not sane to work yourself to death for some vague, altruistist, ultimate, destination of mankind. That’s a goals/problems/mass. Add a dose of the brutal, excessive sec checking and you get someone who knows for sure, that they are not worthy. It’s a brainfuck and a recipe for slaves. It’s important for us to embrace the fact that we deserve every good thing on all dynamics, and to operate on that fact in our daily lives.

Hmmm, I dont think the IRS would be shocked. They really don’t care what sort of buildings scientology ((or any other church) builds. They don’t care if it looks (or is extravagant) — that is not what they do. They cannot make those sort of determinations otherwise they would get entangled in all sorts of ridiculous things, “Did the Archdioces of Los Angeles spend too much money on the doors for the LA cathedral? Or is Cardinal Mahoney’s car too expensive.”
There are two things of interest:
1. Scientologists should care about this on its face. Not only because their hard earned cash is being wasted on unnecessary expenses that do NOT forward the “aims of Scientology”. They should also care that ALL OTHER Sea Org members and Class V SO members live in virtual poverty — and this is complete hypocrisy on the part of Miscavige. He claims to be a “Sea Org Member” like all else (not even the HEAD of the Sea Org). Isn’t that just a bald-faced lie?
2. The IRS or civil courts might be interested in the FRAUD as there are representations made to solicit “donations” and none of it includes this sort of extravagance. Though he is doing a pretty good job of sweeping that under the carpet by constantly pounding on the importance of “ideal orgs” and they are nearly as over-the-top extravagant as this. And people ARE told that this is what their money is going to be spent on and they gladly turn it over (though they are under the mistaken impression that this will help “get more people onto the Bridge” — no such excuse can be offered for his personal office space).

Notice that Davey raises money for the expansion / new ideal orgs, etc. but the money goes to extra office space he doesn’t need. Who would donate after getting a pitch that says “COB has plenty of unused space–why not give him money to buy more?”

Come on people. Scientology is an “applied” religious philosophy. Just keep applying it and applying it. It absorbs into the skin and when in wears off, you apply it again. If it hurts your family then you need to apply it all over; you must have missed a spot.
