If she keeps hiding from the regges they will just start appearing in unexpected places to brief her with world-changing info about what’s about to happen. In fact almost all the pieces are aligned. They’re just about ready to set in motion this fantastic good thing that will be the turning point for man.
With all those OT8’s and their sooper dooper super powers why does $camallyourmoneyology need the sheepbots to download the apps to their pc’s, laptops, etc? They should just be able to concentrate and project and install all the crapps…I mean apps…to everyone on the planet and make them impossible to remove. It almost makes you think that the powers don’t exist except as words on a big piece of paper that you have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and come close to losing your mind to attain.
Darn tootin! scn apps are likely to be trying to snoop out all sorts of financial data to relay to the vultures, err … Registrars, and any “illegal” sites visited sent to the ‘ethics’ division so they can assign you appropriate “amends” or ‘requested donations’. I suspect the apps would generate MANY queries from MacOS, asking permission for “app1” to access certain other apps and data directories. Just saying NO in each case would shut those Trojan horses down. OR if the clam wasn’t paying too much attention or was particularly un-savvy, he’d possibly lose control of the device.
“…half the staff ganged up on me and wouldn’t let me go…”
I’ve been out for 11 years and yet when I read this my stomach still clenched a little.
RB’s comics kindle various emotions in me; sometimes anger, other times a certain sadness and regret, most frequently laughter and/or a mixture of all of the above.
Reading this today I’m feeling true compassion for those still in mixed with deep thankfulness that I am not.
Oh My God!! Been there! Done That! The whole nine yards except they kept me there once for 5 freaking hours briefing me, trying to get more money, etc.! Awful.
Nails on chalkboard levels of grating how Scn treats communication. They don’t have to actually listen, duplicate and acknowledge, because anything (besides money) that you are sending their way is your problem to solve and not worthy of their attention. You have to listen, duplicate, acknowledge, and do it dozens of times in dozens of ways, and still be accused of having an MU if anything less than absolute agreement exists.
Have you seen the new docuseries on Hillsong Church? It just opened on Discovery +.
They actually compare their culture, especially attracting celebrities to Scientology.
As always, the cult behavior is a predictable and tragic similar roadmap.
That’s a good one Mark. For some reason this reminded me of a conversation I had with our friend Steve Lower years ago. He was trying to talk me into buying something or doing something, I don’t remember exactly what. I objected that I didn’t have time to do whatever it was. He countered with the argument that if I got high enough on the bridge I would be at cause over time. He then talked about past lives and how excited he was when he realized he was going to be a teenager again. He said next time he’s going to do it right he’s going to party more.
Looking back on that it’s obvious he really was a true believer.
Oh boy, Steve Lower…
I remember him saying that he didn’t get tired, because he was at cause over the body…and thetans aren’t ‘effect’ of time…blah blah rah rah…And even though this was early in my staff experience, I remember thinking “bullshit!”.
There were already cracks in the walls of my kool-aid-fueled scienbollocks universe…
He and Sam Turrisi both struck me as being die-hard, Hubbard-humping cult bots…
That’s very entertaining and sounds like something Steve would say. Apparently Tom and Liz had not achieved cause over the body.
Regarding this Sam person you mentioned I think one of my auditors was named Sam. Was he an auditor, about 10 years younger than Steve, dark hair and thin?
DS,
Yeah, that’s a good description of him. He was working on the Dianetics seminar weekends. If your auditor was in the HGC(Hubbard Guidance Center, for those reading who are not familiar with the acronym) and fits that description, there are 2 other possible names…
I don’t know if he was in the HGC or not. He was at least more likable than Steve, at least that was my opinion.
About 6 months ago I must have had too much time on my hand and wondered Steve Lower was still working there.
So I called FCDC and asked to speak to Steve Lower, when they asked who I was I made up a bogus name. They transferred the call and Steve answer the phone by saying Treasury office,.I hung up.
Even after all these years I instantly recognized Steve’s voice he has a very easy voice to remember as I’m sure you would agree. He really is a die hard after all these years he’s still there.
Wow, that’s just…sad…
Still pimpin’ for Ol’ El Con Hubfraud…

Boy they’ve really gotcha! If they get you on apps to pay them! 3 jobs won’t be enough soon. I see that lady leaving her cherch soon based on her comments. Lol. Hey I haven’t seen RB lately. Did I miss them? It’s great to read RB again!!!
Wow, another good one, RB. It’s all just so…robotic. I could see myself in the wife’s shoes as I many times responded similarly: having to work all sorts of side hustles, alongside my regular full-time job, to tackle the various loan and credit card payments each month. Remarkable how you just don’t SEE IT when you are in, but I can see it all now – the craftiness, the urgency, the putting it BACK on you if you don’t comply with something the org wants. Jeez, yuk.

WOW. $ci.. APPs on all the clams computers and phones = seeing what sites are being visited and looking into your online banking, etc.
Seems like something to avoid – IMO.

Perfect single word to describe The Church of Scientology.
