This was submitted by one of our Special Correspondents — Roy McGregor. I felt it worthy of its own post rather than just being a comment.
I do believe there is another element not really covered here that is going to make this fail. People are conditioned how to think in the church. They KNOW what they can and cannot say. Even in session. It is why you do not find people coming up with David Miscavige or Julian Schwartz or Charmaine Roger as their PTS Items.
Factually, being “in session” within the church of Scientology is impossible these days. There are too many taboos. And thus communication is withheld and to the extent any pc or pre-OT has things they are unwilling to say to their auditor is the exact measure of how “out of session” they are. Unless and until it is safe for every pc or pre-OT to talk openly and without restraint to their auditor, there is no real auditing happening in the RCS. Yes, people “complete” actions and write “success stories” — but they are on the same order of magnitude as the gushing superlatives they spout when they “complete” graduation and hurry to Facebook to tell about the enormous “case gain” they got from listening to Voldemort speak.
I have long wondered how David Miscavige was going to deal with step one of Superpower- The Ethics Repair List. This list was specifically written by L Ron Hubbard to assist staff who had been heavily knocked around with undeserved ethics actions and injustices.
At that time hundreds of staff members had been ripped off post and dumped into the rehabilitation force for absolutely no good reason. For anyone who has been treated this way you can be assured it is quite upsetting and of course kicks up a lot of past incidents- justice has been used often as a tool of ill-intentioned people.
In more recent years, Scientologists have also been subjected to all manner of ethics and justice actions for speaking too freely, minor insecurities of confidential materials, failing to be involved in fund-raising actions or refusing to donate. Not to mention the sec checks and ethics handlings that Solo NOTs Auditors have to go through every 6 months. Arbitraries on eligibility and being denied service have also been rampant. The Ethics Repair list is capable of cleaning up charge on such harsh or incorrect ethics and justice actions.
Independent auditors are finding the original Ethics Repair List to be invaluable for cleaning up ex-staff and Indy Scientologists who have been knocked around with David Miscavige’s squirrel ethics handlings. [DOWNLOAD THE ETHICS REPAIR LIST HERE]
Just reading the list is quite a revelation as here L Ron Hubbard lists what can be done WRONG with Scientology ethics. Since WRONG ethics actions are now the order of the day, the list is probably even more widely applicable now than when originally written.
In David Miscavige’s Scientology, having tons of ethics officers and security guards is a top priority and they are trained over and over in the “cold hard chrome” school of how to punish and intimidate people into compliance and how to ruthlessly remove those who do not follow the Miscavige line. Not to mention the implementation of squirrel metered ethics interviews, disconnection, the use of “fair game” and heavy handed legal tactics used by Co$.
As a result there are a LOT of people both current and ex-Scientologists who have been smacked around by the Miscavige police force.
The Ethics Repair List, run in accordance with standard tech and applying HCOB 27 May 70R, UNREADING QUESTIONS AND ITEMS, gives incredible wins and helps people see through injustices and the abusive use of ethics and cleans up any ill-effects of such suppression.
Auditing questions such as “HAVE YOU BEEN THREATENED WITH PUNISHMENT OR JUSTICE ACTIONS?” , “HAVE YOUR GAINS BEEN INVALIDATED” and many others strike directly at David Miscavige’s way of doing business.
Also the LRH list ends with these words:
“by the power invested in me I hereby pronounce that all the overts and withholds you have told me are forgiven, and you are cleared of these sins of the past and free from them.” – L Ron Hubbard.
This means that anything the parishioner revealed about himself is protected and non-actionable. Something that David Miscavige has not allowed in a great many years.
Delivered widely it would result in a complete breakdown in the rigid structure of Miscavige-style Scientology and likely a massive exodus as parishioners realize how grossly “ethics” is being abused.
Well the word is that David Miscagive has indeed taken care of this. A massive re-write of the ETHICS REPAIR LIST has taken it from the 16 pages written by L Ron Hubbard to a 43 page monster. A recently received tip from inside the leaky walls of the Flag Land Base indicated that this is being referred to in private as the “Ethics Rundown” – no repair involved and that the pilot is apparently gruelling.
Looks like the added 27 pages ensure that the person receiving the auditing gets the fear of Miscagive put in them before being allowed to attest.
If you know anyone still inside the Church who might end up being a victim of the Miscavige style Ethics List, do them a huge favour and email them the LRH written original and let them know that list has been re-written and blown out to 43 pages. At least they will know what it SHOULD look like.
Here is a note written by someone who received the list recently which shows what happens when you use the ORIGINAL list:
“I just completed the Ethics Repair List. After having been subjected to countless sets of lower conditions, metered ethics interviews, danger assessments and ethics why findings, sec check after sec check – all done “not auditing you” style, Courts, Committees of Evidence, physical abuse, sleep deprivation, being removed and put back on post numerous times over a period of many years, I found myself pretty sour about it all and in fact quite sour about the entire subject of Scientology. Just a mere mention of anything close to resembling ethics or asking for a withhold sent me into a spin and sometimes took me to a dark place that took days to shake off.
After stripping off the charge of these injustices, I can actually laugh about it now. I realized that I had gotten to the point where I wouldn’t let myself be happy or be up-tone, as after a while I learned that something would come along soon that would wipe that little smile off my face and slam me back into solidity. So as a protective mechanism I finally decided to just be solid and serious all the time. It sure beat getting keyed out and getting slammed back down – so I thought. I became numb and hardened.
Since leaving I have been free of the active suppression of the gross misuse of Ethics and Justice. But after this action, I am now also free of the affects of it from the past. When I look back at this time period in my life, I laugh at how crazy it was in this respect. But I also feel I can laugh and be uptone and have fun – that spirit of play has returned. This is something I had lost and it eventually became just “the way I was” – like a permanent part of my personality. But I am not actually that way. I didn’t realize I was still carrying that impenetrable shell around me that numbed my emotions. This action took care of that. I actually feel happy. Something I have missed for a while now.
Thank you to my wonderful auditor who was so caring. This was auditing the way it’s supposed to be – for the pc – with no other motives – just care.”

Hey Mike, I like what you’re doing here on your blog. Great stuff. I just wanted to say that when I was the De-PTSer at Int, Dave started coming up in PTS interviews as an item – not many times, but he did. It was obvious that some people at the base had just had enough, couldn’t take it anymore, and didn’t care what the outcome would be. It’s also interesting that those few who did name him as their Item we’re quickly removed from post and either sent to the decks over at OGH or the RPF.
I also have a gut feeling that the ultimate reason why DM removed me from post and had an all-base briefing about me and a couple of other Tech guys was that he knew that through all of the PTS interviews I was doing, I was piecing together what a sick scumbag he was. Although we had to chalk it up to “out-ethics” and “evil intentions” for their PTSness at the time for naming DM as an item, looking back on it, they were totally right and had some balls to say it. At one point I had over half the base on the PTS list due to injuries, illness, accidents, mistakes – you name it. We’re talking about 250 to 300 people on the PTS list at one time. Leslie Epstein and I had our hands full and we could see no end because as soon as a few people came off of the list, the same amount would be added again. Most of these people had a hard time finding present life-time PTS items and would attempt to go Whole Track in these interviews or would name “Good Hats” at the base. The real reason that these people were getting sick and involved in accidents was because of David Miscavige and the stress and torture he put us all through at the base.
I guess my point was that it’s obvious that many people have woken up to how evil Miscavige really is and are leaving in droves. They know that he’s their “PTS item” (whether or not they name him in an interview or not) and so are essentially disconnecting from DM in their own way. Cheers to those people who are waking up!

Interested non-scientologist here, I’ve just looked through the long long list of questions and am wondering if its not too much trouble if someone might explain some of the concepts like ‘exteriorize’, ‘quad 3 flow’ etc. Also, what happens when you answer a question in the affirmative? Do you stop and talk about it with the auditor? How are the concerns resolved?
Bonnie List Kittelson says
Well, here’s an interesting piece of tech. In Scientology there is a term, the “why”, meaning the reason for something to have occurred or the reason you did something. A good example is to tell someone they are an “SP” when they are obviously not, and then declare them. This is a wrong why. There cannot possibly be that many Scientologists who are SPs. 😉
When someone forces a WRONG “why” on you, such as what happens with the “truth rundown” people get majorly screwed up mentally, emotionally and, often physically. Imagine how many people who submit to this crap are probably reeling from all the wrong indications (reasons) why they are they are “wrong” in their thinking to disagree with the RCS. The RCS has forced a wrong WHY on every person declared, such as they are “out-ethics”, or they “lied” when they, in fact, told the truth. Etc, etc, etc. And THIS is what our “friends” who have disconnected from us now “know” about us. It just staggers the imagination. And because people are led to believe that Scientology is the ONLY path to spiritual freedom, they are loath to give it up, even when they are beat up by the church. (This is one reason why otherwise sane people stay in the church.)
In our “goldenrod” write-up on our declare, we were told one of the reason is that we “refused to come in and get handled”. As a Class 6 auditor I fully understood why it was not safe to go to Flag (4 1/2 miles from home, by the way) to get “handled”. In 2004 I was pulled of of OT7 and sent to 4 intensives of confessionals based on something that was written by a crazy person. I saw for myself just how far the RCS had gone off the rails and was done at that point.

Arnt those pictures and spinning chairs etc. similar to some of the weird shit LRH said happened to thetans a long, long time ago to confuse them and take away their powers? I never bought into that myself but it seems to be a deja vu nightmare. It might be for some anyway.

Auditing had not been save for me. Every time I told something different than expected I had been considered either „nuts“ or sent to Ethics for not being able to run a process and thus have to be „out ethics“. Only a view auditors and case supervisors I can exlude from the this experiences.
My emotions regarding the ethics repair list are not positive. L. Ron Hubbard or whoever allowed or ordered heavy ethics and then after too many people being affected and not on post this has been „found out“ as error. If only some who cares? And this error is corrected by a repair list. And then after the auditing of this repair list all my sins are forgiven. So, I had been effect of some heavy errors and then I am forgiven the fact that I had been effect of it. The word „sarcasm“ is much too mild to describe this situation.

From where I stand, being an old timer (1968-1981) and from what I have seen of the Super power building rooms, it is nothing else but David Miscavige’s personally designed Implant station right in the middle of Clearwater FLA. I feel sorry for the poor idiots who will empty their bank accounts to eventually step into the Implant Station and get to sit on a spinning chair watching the images Miscavige wants them to see, so that they will continue following his commands! Such is the price of Freedom in the world of Miscavology. Sad isn’t it?
sara says
Indeed, if you have some brain left, being ‘in session’ is no longer possible in Scientology Inc.
I experienced this in the nineties at Saint Hill. Outside the premises I felt happy, and inside it was a stressful struggle.
Needless to say that I left quietly, never to return.
Ronn says
Seems easy enough to assume Miscavige’s version will be on the order of the Truth Rundown…. scary shit.
This is a very important report. Many thanks Mike Rinder and Roy McGregor.

Doubtless it will be claimed at an event by way of a DA attempt that lost tech has been found that LRH developed between the original issue and his death, perhaps followed up by a reference on how original completions were “unstable”.
sets guy says
But guys come on now. You can be sure that this new and improved version IS what LRH really wanted it to be if he could just have expressed himself. He was constantly falling short of that so we now have the opportunity to experience the real Tech as it was meant to be.

“by the power invested in me I hereby pronounce that all the overts and withholds you have told me are forgiven, and you are cleared of these sins of the past and free from them.”
Can somebody explain this to me? I do not understand it. Isn’t this turning around the flows?
Is it about what has happened to you or what you have done?
Isn’t “forgive” an assignment of guilt according to LRH?
Detlef Ruchatz says
Your question is answered in the Ethics repair list itself. Some questions, for example question 18, require to pull the withhold. I do not know, if “forgive” would be an assignement of guilt per LRH – I have never heard or read of it -, but I do know, that this R-factor given at the end usually leads to very good indicators in the PC.
BareFacedMessiah says
Detlef, thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Finding this reference is tough. It was on a tape somewhere. It impacted my life quite a lot. Since then I do not say “forgive” anymore, I use “let’s look forwards” instead. So just take it as verbal data. I think the proper words were “assignment of bad cause”. And vice versa feeling sorry is the acceptance of bad cause.
In fact it does not matter if it is written or not. What is true is what is true for you.
I acknowledge that the above R-factor usually causes good indicators according to you. So I will not dig any further and respect it.

No surprise Miscavige and his “friends” intent to or have effectively altered the ERL since the EP is fully exterior which is probably the last result any of them would want.
From what I’ve seen of the recent promo they’ve reconstructed the whole Super Power Rundown to run like some kind of implant.
With moving visual screens and gyroscopic chairs designed by NASA which by the way was one of the biggest recipients of Paper Clip Scientists.
See following link:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/operation-paperclip-us-harbored-nazi-war-criminals-after-world-war-ii/21913
Of course most of the Fat Cat Corner Stone Members won’t know they are actually being implanted since any mention of R6, GPM, Implant GPM, Implant Goal, etc has been carefully removed from the study tapes ostensibly so the poor dears don’t have to clear all those words.
And the only “auditor training” they have most of them is the Solo Auditors course. Never mind SHSBC where most of these terms are explained.
Yet they never ask the question why if they are so concerned about mis-us they left all the technical jargon about navigation, photography (do you how long it took me to clear the word “bromoil”? Clearing GPM was a piece a cake compared to that one!) art, music and even motorcycles in there?
A rhetorical question since it is best to implant someone who is ignorant of the mechanics of such things.
But I digress…..
Anyway kudos Mike for broadly releasing the Ethics Repair List!
Another list that I recommend that should be broadly released is the “old” as in not used any longer LIX which you can still find in the original Tech Vols.

It’s all about the money with lil Dave, how can he squeeze more money out of the idiots – extend the list from 16 pages too 43!

What is the potential damage done to one by this new list that forces one to shatter the mind about the abuses and criminal activity?
I was given repairs before I left – I was trying to get some crimes I witnessed fixed but met the ole stone wall.
During these sessions – the auditor changed his disposition – became rather rude and demanding – and asked me is there a time that I extorted funds out of someone. I could not find anything. This went on for hours and it was driving me mad. It was very expensive.
I made something up to end the session. I wanted to throw the cans at his head. He kept saying “he was only trying to help me and if I could find one overt similar to extortion – we could end the session. I was paying big bucks for this “repair” and it was insane.
I told him I recall a time when I was 5 years old when I told my sister I would not give her any more Halloween candy unless she let me wear her new shoes.
My needle floated. I recall being at the examiner’s thinking – this has not repaired me at all. This is an attempt to get me to stop thinking about the extortion I witnessed in the MAA’s office and forget about it.
It is amazing how these Sea Org members do this to other people. They have no idea how it messes them up.
I got out shortly after that but it did do a number on my thinking and I soon got on the internet to find out WHAT SCIENTOLOGY REALLY IS.
I now can see why this is done and that helps. I can’t imagine going through this Ethics Repair list under the regime of David Miscavige. There will be much fallout but I don’t think they will ever open up that building. I think Miscavige is planning his escape right now and that is why he is hiding out in Clearwater at the Stupid Powerz vacant $250 million dollar building. He needs that much space to house his “ego”!
ThetaPotata says
You make an interesting point about having to make stuff up. I had a friend who had been a Flag rep at a local Org and he said that he routinely fabricated small overts to get through sec checks. It’s like you have to confess to something (real or imagined) to get through it.
Simple Thetan says
This is an interesting concept. LRH put it in absolute terms; you accused somebody of something, you have done it yourself. At the same time he tells you to write Knowledge Report. This is a great contradiction.

Globetrotter says
Well, that was predictable – DM didn’t want to have the same flap as they had with the Life Orientation Course a while back – it resulted in some people starting to think for themselves. Ouch! Recall it, quick! (it is now gone from every Scientology web site without a trace).
WhatWall says
Absolutely right! At the end of LOC people were realizing life purposes OTHER THAN GOING ON STAFF. Not acceptable to the current regime!!!
Axiom says
I am sure that the EP of the Miscavige version will end with, “You pulled it in, so now you need more sec checking.” Never miss an opportunity to generate more revenue.
This is so sad though, the LRH version blows charge just by reading it. What a wonderful product would come out of it and how much relief staff and public would experience.
I can only hope that anyone in will get a chance to see the real deal before they get put through the ringer.
Aquamarine says
I would love to read LRH’s version. Can it be downloaded somewhere?

Never mind, upon re-reading I see I missed seeing the link to it that Mike posted! Well, I must have an MU, huh? 🙂

And, why would you need a big building to run this awesome list?
Oh…I get it Davie, you convinced people that a big building that cost millions was needed in order to deliver Super Power as a sure way of preventing staff from receiving the Ethics Repair list and all the consequences that would ensue if it was done as LRH intended.
mreppen says
43 pages! My god. I just finished the Ethics Repair List and I was on it for over a year (only 1 day a week). It was well worth it, and I am so glad I got it. After 25 years Comm Ev’s and RPF assignments, I definitely needed it. I’m sure Dave has not only added 27 pages to it, I am sure he xed out the majority of LRH’s questions on the list. What a squirrel.

To the extent that “beings know,” what does this say about those still inside the Church? I think it says they are willfully ignorant and criminally complicit.

MY VIEWS says
I had the privilege to deliver this list, as originally written by LRH, to a very good dear friend and it does exactly what it says. It rips apart all the charge generated by injustices, mishandled ethics, invalidations and evaluations of case, enforced purposes and more. The person comes out shining bright and all the past charge, that had been generated by “individuals” such as the Devil Moron, gets totally handled, blown, finished. LRH was always very caring and his last R Factor on the Power to Forgive re-emphazises this.
So, I do recommend it.
Joe Pendleton says
LRH was “ALWAYS very caring”? Hardly. Witness his insane and totally outrageous witch hunt that turned into the List 1 fiasco. After Ron and Mary Sue commanded an operation that committed numerous federal crimes which resulted in LRH running away like a scared rabbit, Ron decided it was the fault of some unknown SO members (based on NO evidence at all) … so much for “responsibility”, not to mention acting on a generality and abandoning the complete data series … and after acting on this ridiculous generality, LRH left it in the hands of one of his lieutenants who thought a DN was an RS (that’s hatting up a competent organization, Ron) and put hundreds in the RPF in a reign of terror. Very, VERY caring.

More fake tech from the fake “leader” of the fake church. Anything written and published since LRH left is verifiably a fake despite assertions to the contrary. It is a real shame that something with so much great potential has been usurped and perverted to the extent that is has been.

Wow, this statement says it all about the current level and quality of tech in the RCS. Roy, everything you say here so profoundly true.
Not to mention the fact that when the Squirrel In Chief doesnt actually change a rundown or process, they are used abusively to adjust the thinking of members. Like PTS rundown run to a cognition of a staff member staying in the SO, or a public person disconnecting from somene the church doesnt like. If the PC dont cognite “appropriately” then they are shunted to Ethics or Review.
A RCS PC is truely being audited to being a totally free being. Free to think exactly as they are told.
Joe Pendleton says
Factually …. indeed!

Great post for the day!
One other major difference, needing to be emphasized is that DM’s SP rundown has the apparent prerequisites of Purif and Objectives.
While the prerequisites for Super Power are a Drug Rundown and C/S 53 to F/Ning list on the original LRH rundown. ONLY! https://www.mikerindersblog.org/superpower-the-facts/

Well there’s a shocker – D’ Monster has created another monster.
The original list looks like it would peal all the barnacles off your bow and set you sailing free. I can see it’s a vital tool for all of us and hopefully will be put into full use in the field. But His rendition I’m sure will further ensnarl, entrap and confuse all those who think they’re going to actually get some badly needed repair. What an evil game He plays!
Conditioner says
This post could have a similar effect as the Debbie Cook email. LRH’s tech is RIGHT THERE, baring its teeth at the squirrel version “created” by DM. Since the list is posted here (I know it’s posted elsewhere) easily accessible to all of us, the jungle drums will beating a solid rhythm to one and all. This is going to be like one of those flash fires on the Hollywood hillsides and canyons.
I can hear it now: “Hey guess what – I’m off to Flag for the the Ethics Repair List – ain’t that great?”. “Oh, which list”? Or variations of same.
Thanks, Roy

Thanks to Ron McGregor for sending this to Mike and Mike for posting.
I had this list sometime … not sure if I was on staff or after as a public. Immaterial because I loved it – got a great sense of relief and felt that truly my past sins were forgiven.
Although me being me — it wasn’t enough to me to feel great about myself – I still had many years of my own soul searching and work to get to the point where today I have a fairly good sense of self and self-esteem.
Always a work in progress though.
Today I found this quote online – without an author:
“Follow him who seeks the truth.
Abandon him who says he’s found it.”
Christine
Aeolus says
Christine, the original was from Vaclav Havel, a playwright and prominent dissident in Czechoslovakia, who became the first president of the new Czech Republic in 1993. He said “Keep the company of those who seek the truth. Run from those who have found it.”
Joe Pendleton says
I can understand what Havel meant, because those who are convinced they have the only or absolute truth, ALSO insist that others be subservient to them and allow themselves to be controlled in every aspect of life. Witness what LRH eventually turned into.

Only two comments to this Roy…. 1)– VERY valuable, key directive to anyone still lingering on!
2 ) per a comment I’d just made to Scott Campbell, please check out all 10 definitions of the word-
—“INSANITY,”—- in the original tech dictionary p. 210.
Dan Koon says
I cannot wait for someone to leak this 43 page new and improved edition of the list and look at the two side by side. The cognitive dissonance that an RCS member would experience doing that would dwarf any fireworks display this side of Fukishima.
Joe Pendleton says
Dan, I think there is no real chance of any mind/thought controlled RCS member of ever actually having the self-determinism to compare the two. And if for some unknown reason he/she would be given them or even more unlikely, LOOK at them (unlikely because an RCS is not in a state wherein he/she can actually observe) … that RCS member would not have sufficient free theta anymore to make a sane conclusion. Thus is the case state of members of the church of scientology.
Cece says
I was going to disagree Joe stating I have more faith in at least our old auditors but then realize that I think we lost many (to Cancer – I think likely to disagreements) and many already left safely with the out-tech of the FN.
Next DM will re-mix-up the dirtyneddle/rockslam tech and that will happen all over again. Yes, I agree with you – the free theta is missing.

Funny (not) I think this is the same LRH R factor I got after my integrity processing in the 70’s. (it was auditing, NOT a sec check) It wasn’t protected and was “used” as was later years session info (Flag auditing). The realization that auditing was not safe and that I could never effectively be in session again helped me leave – prior to Miscavige take over.
