This is the announcement of the latest "Ideal Mission" on the scientology.org website. Here is the Mission's website that has NO MENTION of scientology -- it is called the "Orange County Life Improvement Center": Even when you click on "Counseling" this is what you see: Why are they hiding the scientology connection? This does NOT seem very "ideal"?? Surprised they have "Church of Scientology" on the front of the building. Perhaps they put that up temporarily for the ribbon yanking video? Seems that being scientology isn't much of a selling … [Read more...]
The New Year is Coming Early
The announcement has gone out for the live "New Year's" celebration... On 17 December. And remember -- no children. And absolutely NO photos or videos. We don't want anyone to know about our amazing accomplishments. Or something like that. They are truly concerned that someone will sneak out shots or videos that have not been approved by the church. If this truly is "a detailed briefing on Scientology activities around the world, our monumental achievements in addressing planetary social situations, and an INCREDIBLE briefing about our coming year" - what could possibly be the problem … [Read more...]

Someone recently sent this to me. I thought it a curious piece of scientology history for a number of reasons. Starting with the thought there is nothing new in scientology -- including their cliches. You can see it gets off to a roaring start by announcing a "milestone." Today milestones happen a dozen times a year. Back then this was a trendsetting new word to make the lame sound amazing. It then goes on to claim that the Secret of Flag Results is an "entertainment movie". Erm, not really - it was in fact a promotional piece to try and drum up business for Flag. And right up front … [Read more...]

Silicon Valley Groundbeaking A year after completing their funraising they are finally going to beak the ground. At least they spelled it right this time.... But what the hell is the CCHR IC EUS doing there? New Year's... It's either the 17th of December or the 27th? Save the dates.... Make sense out of this, if you can Somehow the theme seems appropriate Free lunch But really, there is no such thing. Especially not in scientology. Can you handle the truth? The Chanman is going to explain the Whole Track … [Read more...]
Scientology Customer Service
Our old friend, photographer extraordinaire Andy Porter sent me this piece of sarcastic humor. As we see so often, when poking fun at scientology, it is sometimes difficult to separate fact from farce. Hope this will lighten your Monday. Scientology Customer Service Here are three words you don’t often see used together. Sort of like Napalm Skin Cream. They just don’t fit! I worked for Scientology for almost 20 years and I can tell you that transitioning from the church brand of “customer service” to the outside world was quite challenging. In the church anyone complaining was sent to e … [Read more...]
Fleecing The Sheeple
This article is written by Lois (Jory) Reisdorf. She was one of the original Commodore's Messengers aboard the Apollo, and I have known her and her husband Gary since being shipmates together back in the 70's. They left the Sea Org in the 80's, raised 3 boys and were off anyone's radar screen. Scientology managed, as it so often does, to poke the sleeping lioness and steal one of her cubs. More on that story will be forthcoming, along with some fascinating insights into the early days of the Sea Org and L. Ron Hubbard and on up through the rise of David Miscavige. For now, this will serve as … [Read more...]

It's Yuge Biggest since the Portland Crusade. Er, by the way, the IAS had NOTHING to do with Portland. There was no "IAS event" about Portland as IAS events didn't exist then. Wait -- what about THE Turning Point event? The War Is Over!!! Wonder if she is going to survive this monumental assault on the COB's ego that she forgot about his greatest accomplishment? ASHO, Home of the Briefing Course Apparently not. And as the person who sent this "success" to me commented. Her "wins" could have been achieved by retiring. Far less costly and perhaps more … [Read more...]
Letting Go — Out From “Under The Radar”
This is an essay contributed by a third-generation "Scientologist," Elizabeth Gale. I think it is an important message for many reasons. Elizabeth comes from a prominent scientology family. She attended school at Delphi, Oregon, took courses at CCint and Flag, among other places, and had a stint on staff, though never joined the Sea Org. Her parents attained high level OT status - her father, David died in 1995 of heart failure. Today Liz is a happily married mother of two. She has a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Portland State University. She believes … [Read more...]
Look, We ARE Clearing the Planet
OK - forget about clearing the Confederacy for now. Let's just focus on Clearing the planet. Or any entity. And let's use the best case scenario they have to offer. The one they talk about most. The idealiest of all orgs that was taken over by 200 of the elite of the planet cause over everything SO members. This is their latest promo piece boasting of their stupendously epic milestone achievements. Well, let's do some math. Taking what they say as true (highly unlikely) and granting them that every "NED Case Completion" went on to become Clear (also highly unlikely), this, the biggest, … [Read more...]

Scots Humor The HUGE clan gathering, including the entirety of the Flag Italian OT Committee (?) and Greg (Mc) Winteregg, his wife and other fundraising imports from England finally happened. From the photo, looks to be about 30 people including children. Does not appear Scotland is in imminent danger of being overrun by scientologists. Church. What church? "Convenient" accommodations They have more cockroaches than guests by at least 47X Right now, in our Aacdemy Still haven't seen a Class IV auditor made in their "ideal" … [Read more...]
