A reader sent this to me the other day and I found it fascinating. The parallels between North Korea and scientology are unmistakeable. Below are excerpts from the article. I highlighted especially relevant sections. They need no explanation to anyone familiar with scientology's playbook that dictates how they must respond to "critics." Scientology is as clumsy and unbelievable as N. Korea in its denunciation of defectors. It's amusing to see: it seems everyone who leaves N. Korea or scientology is some form of sexual pervert, has stolen money or is being paid to say bad things about … [Read more...]
Scientology Lies — New Years’ Edition
Finally had a few minutes to peruse the latest International Scientology News recounting the epic, milestone New Years event. As usual, it is filled with hype, smoke, mirrors and lies. Just a few of the most glaring: This page is the "overview" of the magnificent accomplishments of 2016: 37 million "walked through our doors"? That is a ridiculous number. But let's take it at face value. Scientology claims "more than" 10,000 scientology "orgs, missions and associated groups" -- this means 3700 people each per YEAR. Or 10 per day. An average of 10 people per day darken … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Cause over the drug scene in Denver You do know that marijuana is legal there right? Mighty My Mammy 6 weeks to glory! Seriously, backlogged filing completed is "glory"? Fun goody bags Is this a kid's birthday party? Not so mighty? Even with Flag "doing it" and Nobbe's goody bags, 211,000 names in CF and all those 1970's letters from Ron about how great you are - you can manage only 24 people to help out on the most important project in the history of the universe? And where ARE Grant and Elena Cardone? There's … [Read more...]
“Fastest-Growing Religion in the 21st Century” UK Edition
More evidence that the "fastest-growing religion" is a sad lie. This time from the "home of L. Ron Hubbard" - the scientology headquarters in England at St. Hill. This was a "national" event for the most important activity in the scientology world -- fundraising for "ideal orgs." Here is where the UK stands on the "ideal org strategy" after 13 years. One ideal org in London -- bought by IAS. For ALL of London. CC London closed down. Buildings in Plymouth, Manchester, Birmingham and Sunderland that have stood empty for years as they do not have any funds to renovate them. Nothing … [Read more...]
Denver “Ideal” Org – The Lie of “Expansion”
Here is the REAL story about an "Ideal Org." These buildings are what scientology inform the world is "proof" of their massive international expansion. The hype is that "ideal orgs" "expand 10X". They are STILL circulating this poster. Denver had its ribbon yanked in 2012. Nearly 5 YEARS ago now. Miscavige claims that THIS is the strategy to make all orgs the size of old St Hill. First they have to be made "ideal." And then their "straight up and vertical" "10X" expansion begins. And they never look back. Oops -- Denver just let the cat out of the bag. Five years later, … [Read more...]
Human Rights?
In isolation this is certainly a worthwhile cause. In the context of it being another scientology front group, raising yet more money to restore human rights, it is horrible. If you read this it talks about villages in India being "enslaved" through "fabricated debt, intimidation, isolation and denied education." Anne, Donna and Vanessa, here's a clue: you don't need to look on the other side of the world. Anne, you especially HAVE been to the Gold Base in unincorporated Riverside County (not Hemet). If you care to LOOK, you will find: Fabricated debt -- your own … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
After a 6 week (?) hiatus, Thursday Funnies are back. Obviously, during this time a LOT of material poured in. I honestly have not been able to get through it all. There was a ton of pretty amusing "holiday fare", but that is dated now. I have selected some of what I think is the best stuff from the last few weeks. Enjoy. Bad Hair Day She certainly didn't join because of their photo-shopping prowess. Yowza. Not really funny A theme for these "funnies" might be exploitation of children. This is an 8 or 9 year old Sea Org member and this is made "normal" by L. Ron … [Read more...]
#ScientologyTheAftermath 2nd Reddit AMA
Tonight's 2nd Reddit AMA is the final show we have shot for this season of Leah Remini Scientology The Aftermath. A&E has another special coming about Leah, but it is a bonus, not considered part of this "series" of 7 episodes and 2 Reddit AMA specials. It has been a wild ride -- the response has been beyond anything we could have hoped for. What I said at the end of the show is absolutely correct. I am not stopping. This experience has only motivated me to push harder. Though it is on everyone's mind right now, I cannot tell you that there is a Season 2 yet, nothing has been … [Read more...]
“Fastest-Growing Religion in the 21st Century” Debunked
This is the report on how scientology is "making planetary clearing a reality" from the MODEL-nearly double SH Size-Ideal Org in Tampa. This is the best of the best. Where all Flag public go to hide from the FSO regges, where the children of the "huge" scientology field are sent to begin their careers of dedication to the church by joining staff, where you can theoretically get your OT Levels for free at Flag by just joining staff there and where all the rejects from Flag are sent to do courses. Yes, that org - propped up by Flag and held out as the shining beacon of Class V … [Read more...]
Scientology and Psychosis – The Aftermath
Tonight's season finale of Leah Remini Scientology The Aftermath touches upon the subject of how scientologists address mental health issues. For many years, though Hubbard railed repeatedly against psychiatry, and called for psychiatrists to be shut down as a profession -- he had one caveat. The insane should be left to the institutions. They were barred from participating in scientology auditing. It was one of the many contradictions that can be found in Hubbard's writings - while he claimed all psychs were maiming people, he didn't want scientology to be involved in dealing with the i … [Read more...]
