Corporate Scientology has mastered the art of speaking out of both side of its mouth and keeping a straight face at the same time. See Tony Ortega's article about the Laura DeCrescenzo case this morning. While pleading that the CHURCH is being "discriminated" against (they have also mastered the art of playing victims -- everyone including the courts, psychiatrists, governments, SPs, media, the internet, drug companies, cyberterrorists, anyone who dies in their care and the martians are out to "get" them) and how turning over Laura's pc folders will prejudice "other religions," they don't … [Read more...]
Corporate Scientology Child Fundraisers
Miscavige and his corporate Scientology vultures have apparently taken lessons from Slumdog Millionaire on how to use children to raise money. This may be hard to believe, but I assure you this is 100% true. First, here is an excerpt of a Hat Write sent in by one of our Swiss correspondents. It explains how to raise funds using children. NEW ORG BUILDING FUNDRAISING EVENTS HAT WRITE-UP by DENNIS NEGLEY EVENT FUNDRAISER SAN FRANCISCO On page 11 it says: CHILDREN’S DONATIONS These are so theta and are an energizing part of every event. Encourage attendees to bring their children 8 years and ab … [Read more...]
Haydn James: Life Out From Under Corporate Scientology — Freedom!
This is the next in the series of "Life is Good" postings from people who are flourishing and prospering after leaving corporate Scientology. Mike Rinder The freedom to be, do and above all, have Haydn James Well, the nightmares did eventually end. I no longer woke up in a sweat. It was always the same nightmare, always the same scenario – despite being on staff for 31 years and having left staff and the Church of Scientology, I mistakenly thought I had somehow returned and was back in the grip of David Miscavige’s corporate Scientology. But after some months the nightmares ended. Now, e … [Read more...]
Corporate Scientology Has No Shame — It Is Heber
Well, I had to apologize on my post earlier when it turned out it was not Heber on the poster promoting the opening of Corporate Scientology's latest Ideal Org in the "first Scientology City." I just had the wrong poster. A kind reader, trying to repair my tarnished reputation, sent me this one. And there is no doubt THIS IS HEBER. I do remember Heber. Very well. And nobody should tarnish his memory by celebrating the opening of another squirrel center. And just by the by -- this "start of our winning tradition" and all the other bloviating about Portland omits the facts with a glossed over PR … [Read more...]
It’s an Ideal Ideal World…
David Miscavige's Propaganda by Redefinition of Words is trickling down to the few remaining field auditors (who apparently no longer audit but deliver "seminars" -- auditing as a career in the RCS doesnt seem to work out, though today there are a lot of independent field auditors who are prospering...). The objective now is an "Ideal Life." Even in the same font as the "Ideal Org" promotion. Soon to come -- "Ideal Children", "Ideal Meals", "Ideal Cats"... This is the new Corporate Scientology "brand" -- Apple has iPhone, iMac, iPod; Costco has "Kirkland;" Walmart has "Great Value" and Mi … [Read more...]
Remember Heber
This is SICK. I doubt Heber -- who the church still promotes as its "President" -- will be in attendance for the opening of the "Ideal Org" in the "First Scientology City" (huh)? The gall of these people to put a picture of Heber on their poster -- when he is locked up and only allowed out for the funeral of his son (and only after Karen DelaCarriere shamed the church into it). He doesn't have another son, so I guess he isn't ever getting out again until its his funeral. Update: I did not inspect this poster closely enough and several have pointed out that the shot is in fact Leo … [Read more...]

Tel Aviv Ideal Org — Straight Across and Prostrate
From our Special Correspondent in the Holy Land. It's a shame so few are fluent in Hebrew. Still, I forward below a link to an Israeli web-site that gives all theatre and musical performances in Israel and option to purchase tickets. The site is called "habama", meaning "the stage". And now we have a new theatre hall in Israel, the "Alhambra". Sounds familiar maybe? Yes, it's the name of the historical building which is now the "Ideal Org" of Tel Aviv. David Miscavige purchased this building … [Read more...]
Applied Scholastics International Headquarters Becomes a Nation of Islam "Singles Retreat" Named "Camp Kiswah"
Though this document is from 2012, it is worth sharing. I have never seen it before and I doubt many others have either. It was attached to a comment by Rick Mycroft but I felt it too important to simply be a comment. Thanks for providing this Rick. This Nation Of Islam Singles Retreat was held at Applied Scholastics International Campus in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Apparently renamed for the NOI "Camp Kiswah," this promotional item makes NO mention of Scientology, let alone Applied Scholastics. The only way to be certain that it is in fact Spanish … [Read more...]
Lana Mitchell — "I did not lose my eternity, I FOUND it."
Next in the series "Life is Good" from another who experienced the horrors of working directly for Miscavige, eventually escaped and is now a recognized leader in a totally new profession and has also moved up the bridge.... Mike Rinder By Lana Mitchell There are many things that cause a person to think twice when having doubts about departing the Church. The most obvious one is the idea that by doing so, you “forfeit your eternity”. By leaving the church you will no longer have access to the OT levels – or to standard tech – so you are damned to continue a homo sapien existence here on … [Read more...]
