You may have seen the news or watched Aaron's recent video about scientology becoming a hot topic in the mayoral race in Los Angeles (if you have not watched Aaron's video, I suggest you do -- it's only 10 minutes -- you can click on it irectly above). Subsequently, Danny Masterson's lawyers filed some desperate motions to try to delay his criminal rape trial, claiming the jury pool was prejudiced because "There is a really negative view of Scientology… the general public's view of Scientology is more negative than any other religion." His lawyer argued everyone agrees scientology is an " … [Read more...]
City of Clearwater and Scientology Maneuverings
The latest reporting from Tracey McManus highlights the tensions in the city as they try to deal with the maneuverings of David Miscavige. The Mayor and City Manager are on one side, and the City Council on the other in the battle over parcels of downtown property scientology wants. Tracey's earlier report goes into more detail about the plans to build affordable housing across the street from Miscavige's office and the termination of that planned construction after Miscavige got involved. Now, City Council members (notably Mark Bunker and Kathleen Beckman) are upset that they have … [Read more...]
First Ideal School?? WTF?
First it was orgs, and Miscavige reinterpreted the Hubbard PL on "Ideal Orgs" to be a large, renovated building. Of course, there is nothing about this in the policy letter. Then it was Missions who were supposed to be "ideal." That Mission in San Francisco that Jenna Elfman opened was the first one I think. Or maybe it was the one Lisa Marie and Isaac Hayes did in Memphis? Or Kirstie's in Wichita? All of these are empty shells today. There have been a few others since then, but generally the Mission network of scientology has continued to shrink despite Miscavige's infamous … [Read more...]
Chicago Is Getting Old Fast
This "ideal" org in Chicago is really setting some interesting precedents. The building has been completed for some time. But they cannot open it. There are two apparent reasons. First, Miscavige fears being anywhere public -- even surrounded by security and all sorts of measures to protect him from being served with legal process. The second reason seems to be that they have no staff, so have resorted to a scraping of the barrel from other orgs. In the past this was done wholesale, often using SO members (like in Columbus and Orlando), but now it seems that like donations to the … [Read more...]
New Flag Protocol: Watch Miscavige Videos for Days
This is not a joke. This is a brand new promo piece from Flag. Mailed this past week. Of course, the "Bridge" was NEVER restricted at Flag. They were bringing in people from Class V orgs to do the Purif and TR's and Objectives throughout the pandemic. It was the only place they COULD go. But now, they have new protocols and they are announcing it loud and proud in one of their oversize, high-gloss mailings: So, this is the new protocol. Enter "an ultimate safe and distraction free environment" one Day 1. Then for 2 days "Get in the loop." What exactly does this … [Read more...]
Creepy Photos Inside Scientology Building
This recent article is in stark contrast to the hype churned out by scientology about the oxymoronically named "ideal org program." David Miscavige has claimed this program is the key to Planetary Clearing, and a lot of people have given a LOT of money (and continue to do so) buying his bs. Scientology also claims the "new churches" prove that scientology is more popular and in demand than ever. If either of these two things were true, scientology would not own "abandoned" buildings all over the world, that they have failed to occupy, in some cases, for decades. Manchester is by no … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
The Time is Now! Of course, it ALWAYS is. Until tomorrow, when there is something better.... How can it be more? Last week was "everything you ever wanted"? It's really easy... Except for people who have access to the internet. Wonder if this is legal? In most states gambling is restricted Why is this Russian? Barcelona only delivers to Russians? It's the next big thing Re-do your Purif and SRD. Why? Because you can... Big Think? Ya think? None of these pix … [Read more...]
The “Warmth and Friendliness” of David Miscavige
This showed up yesterday. Wonder why? Almost certainly it's the result of Miscavige having a hissy fit about the imminent release of my book, A Billion Years: My Escape from a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientology I've seen it many times -- Miscavige screaming at his underlings that he is "being attacked" and "nobody ever does anything to protect him." (Add some expletives of course) They frantically rush off to "do something" and a pathetic press release like this results. No doubt there will be other "handlings" -- more articles on the STAAD website, more nasty tweets from … [Read more...]
The Promised Ideal Orgs
One of our faithful readers sent me this recently. It is a screencap of the scientology website he had taken back in 2013. The ideal org program had been going for nearly 10 years by this time, and the hype had been maintained at a pretty high level. But with 9 years of hindsight, it is clear just how much bs Miscavige was peddling. The ideal orgs that were promised to have opened in THAT year that eventually opened: Sydney: May 2014 Basel: April 2015 Bogota: July 2015 Budapest: July 2016 Harlem: July 2016 San Diego: November 2016 Auckland: January 2017 Valley: March … [Read more...]
“Massive” Announcement! The Bridge is now “Wider”
The scientology world is going nuts with the "super-mega OMG!! announcement" that "everyone has been waiting for." It is BIG BIG BIG news. Because it's so monumental, it's going to be made at the next Graduation (since when was this a thing?) I haven't seen a frenzy like this for some time -- probably not since Super Power/Running Pgm. I would bet it has to do with the OEC training program Miscavige has been running. Only something he is personally involved in (and is taking credit for of course) could get this sort of attention. Probably some "lost tech" of how to get people on the … [Read more...]
