Marlow Stern has written quite a number of stories relating to scientology. They have often questioned scientology's practices and have failed to regurgitate the scientology propaganda they try to feed the media. That makes him an "enemy." And what does Hubbard say about enemies? You threaten what they seek to protect and cost them their jobs. See this post for the exact words from Hubbard: Dealing with Critics of Scientology: The L. Ron Hubbard Playbook What never ceases to amaze me is how proudly scientology comes right out with the very worst of themselves, proving time and time again w … [Read more...]
Flag Under “Stay at Home” Order
On Thursday 26 March, a "Stay at Home" order went into effect in Pinellas County. I have included the complete order at the end of this post. The order does NOT have an exemption for "religious organizations." Among other things it says that people should stay AT HOME (including in the definition of "At Home" a dormitory, apartment, hotel or motel), remain at a distance of 6 feet from others and not congregate in groups of more than 10 people. It also specifically states: "All public and private gatherings of any number of people not meeting CDC guidance outside a family unit, … [Read more...]
Trying to Burnish David Miscavige’s Very Tarnished Image
Yesterday a new tweet showed up on my feed from Freedom Mag: Wow, I thought, a new piece of brown-nosing has appeared in Freedom magazine, lauding the many supposed virtues of Dear Leader David Miscavige. These things usually appear when Miscavige is concerned about too much negative press about him and "nobody is defending him." Some minions are ordered to come up with something to make him look good and it is pumped out. I clicked on the link: Oh, it's just old stuff being rehashed. They couldn’t even come up with anything new. The end of the article gives the fl … [Read more...]
Dear Leader Speaks
Captain David Miscavige, scientology's capo di tutti capo, has reportedly weighed in on the COVID-19 pandemic. But apparently his words are too special to be read by mere "wogs" -- or even any scientologist who cannot get into an org. He issued an IG NW Bulletin (Inspector General Network) "No. 88" where he provides a message of "leadership and care." Having been around when his last "Call to Arms" was issued after 9/11, it is easy to conclude what his message of leadership and care is. (I was originally told to write this issue for him with Lyman Spurlock but of course … [Read more...]
City Councilman Mark Bunker and Scientology Tax Exempt Status
The news has sunk in, Mark Bunker is now a Clearwater City Commissioner-elect. As Tracey McManus put it, this is a historic day for Clearwater. There is another piece in the Tampa Bay Times (top of article screencapped above) this morning. It makes some interesting points - first of which is noting Bunker's "desire for the city to urge the IRS to revoke Scientology's tax exempt status..." Some have poo-poo'd this idea "The City of Clearwater doesn't grant tax exempt status, the IRS does" -- as if Mark Bunker is unaware of the difference between a city government and the … [Read more...]
Unofficial Result — Mark Bunker Wins Election
This is an historic day in Clearwater. Providing nothing changes as this is made into the official result (not sure when this will be), Mark Bunker is now a City Council member of the City of Clearwater. The scientology backed candidate came in 4th out of 5... Once and for all proving that scientology in fact has NO political clout in Clearwater, let alone Tampa Bay. Congratulations to Mark Bunker! Also Congratulations to Frank Hibbard who will be the new Mayor of Clearwater. The people I feel sorry for are those in OSA Flag. This loss will be blamed on them. It will not be … [Read more...]
The Black Bag Department
See my announcement on Friday -- I am revisiting earlier posts during my vacation. Each day there will be a different one. Marty has been doing a good job of exposing the unalterable policies of the church concerning dealing with perceived enemies. One aspect not much discussed is who are the "outside professionals" hired to do the dirty work. And while there is a lot that is done by Sea Org OSA staff, Class V (local DSAs like Mark Warburg and John Carmichael) and public Scientologists (John Allender, Ed Bryan and Co) there is work that requires specific skills, including licenses to … [Read more...]
Shelly Miscavige Guarded By Armed PI’s first published Feb 7 2014
See my announcement on Friday -- I am revisiting earlier posts during my vacation. Each day there will be a different one. Vanity Fair just published an article about Shelly Miscavige. It presents part of the story of the Miscavige's to a wider audience -- both David's violence and ruthlessness and Shelly's efforts to curtail him only to ultimately become another of his victims. Of course, it cannot cover everything and there are some details omitted or confused. But there is a fascinating piece of the story Vanity Fair did NOT tell. And it confirms a great deal of what WAS wr … [Read more...]
Proof of Expansion (Where’s Shelly?) first published Nov 29, 2013
See my announcement on Friday -- I am revisiting earlier posts during my vacation. Each day there will be a different one. This one is near and dear to my heart -- the day we flew the banner over the assembled sheeple waiting to be allowed in to the "Big Tent" set up in Clearwater for the IAS event. Believe it or not, this is the best proof Miscavige has of His "expansion." Everyone knows the stable datum that "the squirrels go crazy when we are expanding" so they MUST be going totally crazy: q.e.d. we ARE expanding. This afternoon, the barricades went up and the armed … [Read more...]
Disconnection — Scientology’s Nasty Secret
While Scientology spokespeople have routinely denied that “enforced disconnection exists”, anyone who is familiar with the Corporate Church of Scientology knows only too well about disconnection. Like so much else in the Corporate Scientology empire, its an ugly truth to be hidden from the “wog” world through a game of carefully worded deception of the same order as Bill Clinton’s infamous “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” When you see a church spokespeople emphatically state “there is no policy of enforced disconnection” in Scientology, the language is carefully chosen. (Yo … [Read more...]
