The always on-the-ball Tracey McManus has filed a new story about downtown Clearwater, the City Council and scientology. It would appear that the recently elected city officials have had a bit of a wake up call. The conciliatory language they were spouting a few months ago when they were trying to get elected about how they intend to "work with the church of scientology" is now being replaced with expressions of frustration. Tracey's reporting in the Times has been documenting the massive buy up of downtown real estate by scientology and scientologists for years. The alarm bells should … [Read more...]
Dog Finally Catches Car!
It has finally happened. After 40 years, they are claiming to have accomplished 10,000 people “onto or through” Solo NOTS. This is of course not true, they count everyone who has ever been on Solo NOTs in this number, whether they died or quietly left or have been declared SP. But they are claiming the victory so let's take them at their word. How coincidental that it happened on the exact day they promoted a week ago -- scheduling events to announce it. Nothing contrived about this at all. So, what does it mean? This whole campaign that Clive Rabey has been the face of since he … [Read more...]
More Scientology Front Group News
I got an alert there was some new "scientology news" from Google. Turns out it linked to an article in the Richmond Register, a small paper published 3 days a week in the town of Richmond, Kentucky (p. 40,000). Obviously, this paper is in dire need of content to fill its pages. A kids event on the stage of the Los Angeles org would otherwise not make it into a small-town paper so far from LA. But, this is not as noteworthy as the content itself. It's another of scientology's deceptive press releases intended to make it appear they are "working with" other … [Read more...]
David Miscavige — NOT L. Ron Hubbard’s Chosen Successor
Tony Ortega (via Alex Barnes-Ross) commented on an article on STAAD/STAND website celebrating the birthday of Miscavige yesterday. In it, the unnamed sycophant writing the piece (probably someone in OSA or RTC) made the following statement: When the Founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, was ready to pass the torch to a successor, he needed someone who would (1) be up to the task of leading the fastest-growing religion in the world and (2) have the strength, courage and perspicacity to follow through on ensuring the religious technology is available for future generations. David Miscavige … [Read more...]
Why Scientology Hates CHILD USA
CHILD USA has been involved in two specific events scientology cannot tolerate, and more broadly in successful efforts to give victims voices. First: The Executive Director of Child USA, Marci Hamilton, a constitutional law professor, successfully argued in the California Appeals Court to overturn the ruling that would have forced Danny Masterson's victims to submit to scientology's sham arbitration. It was the first loss scientology had suffered in its efforts to suppress all attempts to get justice by those it abused. Second: CHILD USA supported and assisted in the passage of the … [Read more...]
ScientologyTV — A Spectacular Flop
A new press release from scientology breathlessly announces the "new season" of ScientologyTV. Though it is a little odd, they seem caught in the "preparing" and "gearing up" as ScientologyTV is apparently just "setting the stage" for a new season? Whatever that means. This has truly been one of the biggest cash drains in the history of scientology. They not only spend millions creating their slick propaganda pieces, they also PAY to have this dross available on DirecTV and other providers. It is costing a huge amount of money, to reach NO audience. They have never provided … [Read more...]
Planetary Clearing is Unreal — Some Simple Math
Malmo is an "ideal org." Being "ideal" brings with it guaranteed 10X expansion according to the hype peddled by Miscavige. Yet this org is announcing that they do not even have 100 people on service in their "ideal" org in a week. It’s their goal to achieve this tiny target! According to Hubbard, these orgs are all supposed to be the "size of Old St Hill." One of the measurements of "St Hill size" is 200 student in the Academy. And 1000 WDAH per week. If every preclear was receiving an intensive a week, that would mean 80 preclears. That is a total of 280 people on service in DIV 4 each w … [Read more...]
Why Scientologists Lie: It’s the Greatest Good for the Greatest Number of Dynamics
This is something I have brought up many times on The Aftermath show, podcasts, YouTube videos and interviews because it is so important to gaining an understanding of the "scientology mind." It is one of Hubbard's most devious devices for keeping the flock in lockstep and always ensuring what is good for scientology is the measuring stick every scientologist uses in making choices in life. This is the fundamental principle from Hubbard: An optimum solution to any problem would be that solution which brought the greatest benefits to the greatest number of dynamics. He … [Read more...]
The Secret E-Meter
This article is from last year, but I never got around to commenting on it. Not sure what happened to this exemption, it doesn’t really matter in the overall scheme of things. They will still require Scientologists to sign a draconian agreement before they can buy their mandatory $5000 Easy Bake Oven E-meter, and that will prevent them from doing anything with their meter that is not authorized by scientology. What is amusing is the lengths they will go to in order to ensure they protect any revenue source. Imagine if people were allowed to open the Easy Bake re … [Read more...]
The Insanity of the “Ideal Org” Program
This article illustrates how insane and destructive this Miscavige ideal org plan is. Though it is essentially a real estate investment scheme, because of the arbitrary requirements Miscavige made part of his program, some absolutely catastrophic decisions have been made that have not only harmed the orgs concerned, but have also lost tens of millions of dollars. Following his recent org reduction and eradication ceremony in Paris, this recent news article from Melbourne illustrates another aspect of the crazy perfectly. Melbourne org owned a beautiful building in the city center — a … [Read more...]
