A little light-hearted entertainment for the weekend. As earlier mentioned in a comment -- a contest was launched to commemorate the annual IAS event to see who could produce the best Shermanspeak on the topic of scientology and the world today. Our winning entry is below. Dan should be proud. Throughout history, great writers have had an identifiable style -- from Shakespeare to Ernest Hemingway. Speechmakers too -- Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill come to mind. But it seems that though Sherman has developed a unique style, he follows in the tradition of another famous orator, … [Read more...]
IAS Event Call In Patter
Patter is a term used in scientology to describe a script that is given to people to say out loud. According to Wikipedia: Patter is a prepared and practiced speech that is designed to produce a desired response from its audience. Whoever wrote this has a misunderstood word. He or she thinks the word is "pattern" because it seems to make more sense to them. It might be a "pattern" if it was an "outline" of things to say. In fact, this is a verbatim script. Learn how to parrot this, call enough people who tell you "Yes, put me down again as a confirmed for the damn event and tell … [Read more...]
Where is the IAS??
Narconon Louisiana went under. Literally. Drowned in the recent flooding. They started a Go Fund Me page to try and collect money to clean the place up and get operating again. They claim to need $75,000 (and in 13 days managed $11,520). $75,000 is pocket change for the IAS. The IAS repeatedly claims they support Narconon and take credit for all sorts of Narconon "accomplishments" (like reduced the rate of drug addiction 175% in Burkina Faso or whatever...). They say they support people in times of natural disaster -- if you listen to them they pretty much single-handedly put … [Read more...]

Fearless Leader? Back in action with more ridiculousness. Wee gatherings and big gatherings -- but no details about where or when. That's a secret! Highest Ever after Highest Ever Haha. If they are expanding like crazy and have all these Highest Evers, how is it possible that after 6 years as an "ideal org" they are still not SH Size. In fact, they don't even have their filing up to date! The Foundation for Planetary Clearing There are apparently 50 or more of these ideal orgs. By now something should be visible in the planetary clearing … [Read more...]
Maiden Voyage Event 3
The third event of the 2016 Maiden Voyage week of extravaganza seems to have lived up to all that has gone before when it comes to IAS briefings. Ridiculous hype about events in far off places that should strain even the most ardent sheeple's credulity. Announced victories over destroyed enemies -- the same "victories" over psychiatry that have been announced year after year. According to the impeccable news source Int Scn News/David Miscavige, by this time psychiatry should have long since ceased to exist, but in the real world they seem to be doing just fine with new buildings that act … [Read more...]
Scientology, the Merchants of Chaos, the IAS and Hype
A vital element of the control scientology exercises over its membership is the control of information. Scientologists are exhorted not to look at the internet and not to watch the media. For they are the Merchants of Chaos (unless they report on something positive about scientology, in which case they are lauded and scientology certainly spends a LOT of money sending out paid for press releases). In the promotion that has circulated about the IAS "Maiden Voyage" event there has been a great deal of hype about a monumentally epic announcement made by "COB." Here is just one of the hypey … [Read more...]

New Bright Idea It seems they are trying to match the success of the "Extension" courses the church offers. They apparently don't realize the Extension Courses have become the preferred method of avoiding regges and Call In people -- "I am doing my Basics Book Extension Course so leave me alone..." What Do You Get? Not this, that's for sure. One thing EVERY ideal org FART Div 6 has is common. They are completely empty. Plan to do it at a later date? It's getting more bizarre. They are not just asking "would you attend if we put it on at a later date?" Now they … [Read more...]
The Feeling Of Elation
This about sums up what scientology sells: The feeling of elation knowing I "helped." They have convinced the people inside the bubble that money given the IAS is actually used for good. It is one of the sad truths of scientology that this is a lie. More money is spent on creating the illusion that scientology (the IAS) is helping than is spent on actually helping anyone. The only real expenditures the IAS makes are the purchase of property -- ostensibly to "service parishioners" but as every org on earth is shrinking, there is not a one of them that needs larger premises when most … [Read more...]

Pirates and Whales What a combination. How fitting. More pirate parties.... And more. Seems to be contagious. Do the Survival Rundown at ASHO Of course. Nobody wants to do auditor training any more... Or can. Wonder if they ever actually HOLD these conventions? Or is this just a survey to see if anyone bites? This is the best they've got? This guy has been in the SO for about 40 years and had never climbed beyond being in charge of "WISE" in EUS. This is the best they've got? Dave Petit and … [Read more...]

OMG -- It's Yuuuge Kevin and Barbara Wilson, executives extraordinaire are going to be the new ED and D/ED Valley. Wonder what is going to happen to their incredible WISE business. Anyone know the protocol for selling a Mark Super 7? Not really. Probably better off just throwing it in the trash as it is now worthless. Scheduling problems They seem to be constantly changing these events -- when nobody RSVP's that they will be attending, they just change the date. And apparently none of these EVER have anyone RSVP. It's … [Read more...]
