The obvious answer of course is "empty buildings," but I found the background of this shot interesting. These days, buying statuses in the IAS and "Ideal Org Program" has become the new "thing" - status in scientology used to be measured by OT level gained and before that by auditor training level. There has always been a heavy emphasis on attaining perceived superiority since the first days of Dianetics. These days status in scientology is attained through money, not training and auditing. The goofiness of stuff that passes for status in scientology is sometimes hard to fathom -- the … [Read more...]
Stratospheric Expansion
This letter was recently received by one of our readers in Australia. They have entered the stratosphere and are building a whole new world of stability and command over the environment using the most powerful tech in the Universe. No hype here at all... Apparently they have "come up through" the Golden Age of Knowledge, the Golden Age of Tech II and the Ideal Org Strategy? Those things didnt "do it" but it is going to happen now. Not sure how they came "through" the Ideal Org Strategy when there are still 3 orgs that are NOT ideal and Sydney, Melbourne and Perth are ideal … [Read more...]
Orange County “Ideal” Org
I recently mentioned the Orange County "ideal" Org on one of the live Q$A's. I erroneously said it was in downtown Anaheim, it is in fact in downtown Santa Ana. A viewer reached out to provide some information about the current state of this org and what happened subsequent to the great ribbon yanking that occurred 10+ years ago (with all sorts of promises as to how this new building was going to usher in a "new era" for scientology in the area and the dawn of a new civilization in Orange County. Here is the report: As of 2 years ago, I heard that they were down to about 25 staff total … [Read more...]
This Is What Scientologists Really Believe
This statement epitomizes the mindset of the scientology bubble. Their city (fill in name) is where scientology can flourish because it's such a wonderful place, filled with amazing people (and when they are trying to recruit they add how great the schools are, the art scene is, the delicious food, the museums... anything they can think of). It's like their city is the unique petri dish with just the right ingredients for the experiment to finally succeed. It's all so bright and hopeful -- and absolutely absurd. But, despite all the wonderful things and amazing people, "everyone in (fill … [Read more...]
San Francisco Ideal Org Failing – What a Shock!
A recent promotional item from San Francisco tells the real story of this, one of the first "ideal orgs." They are oddly proud of the fact that "just since reopening these services in September" they have completed "40 students and preclears on their next Bridge steps." They are celebrating this as an "outstanding year of Bridge progress." That is 40 completions in 5 MONTHS. 20 WEEKS. That translates into 2 courses or auditing steps a week. TWO. This is not even the level of production expected of a part-time mission. Let alone an org. Let alone an “ideal” org that should have been … [Read more...]
4 New Ideal Orgs?
I included this Facebook message in my post yesterday concerning the fact that Captain Miscavige was at Flag on New Year's Eve delivering this briefing. I did not make mention of other significant things she mentioned. A new IAS status -- Patron Diamond Maximus with Honours. What comes next? They're running out of idiotic titles, every new one they come up with sounds more and more like a Monty Python skit. Another Super Bowl ad! Woohoo. They have been SOOOO effective. And the sheeple think they are being seen across the nation "A billion people watch the Super Bowl so that means a … [Read more...]
The Incredible Shrinking World of Scientology
Quite a number of people have asked me in recent interviews whether scientology is growing. Of course, it is not. Information is deadly poison to cults and in this age of the internet, scientology is doomed. But, scientology puts out an endless stream of propaganda to make it seem like they are expanding. They claim "massive growth" and "unprecedented demand" and various other catchphrases, statements unsupported by specifics or statistics. Naturally, scientology doesn't want to make information available that would disprove their claims of constant and … [Read more...]
First Ideal School?? WTF?
First it was orgs, and Miscavige reinterpreted the Hubbard PL on "Ideal Orgs" to be a large, renovated building. Of course, there is nothing about this in the policy letter. Then it was Missions who were supposed to be "ideal." That Mission in San Francisco that Jenna Elfman opened was the first one I think. Or maybe it was the one Lisa Marie and Isaac Hayes did in Memphis? Or Kirstie's in Wichita? All of these are empty shells today. There have been a few others since then, but generally the Mission network of scientology has continued to shrink despite Miscavige's infamous … [Read more...]
The Promised Ideal Orgs
One of our faithful readers sent me this recently. It is a screencap of the scientology website he had taken back in 2013. The ideal org program had been going for nearly 10 years by this time, and the hype had been maintained at a pretty high level. But with 9 years of hindsight, it is clear just how much bs Miscavige was peddling. The ideal orgs that were promised to have opened in THAT year that eventually opened: Sydney: May 2014 Basel: April 2015 Bogota: July 2015 Budapest: July 2016 Harlem: July 2016 San Diego: November 2016 Auckland: January 2017 Valley: March … [Read more...]
What Is The Ideal Org Program?
This is the fourth "vacation" post, revisiting some of the more important articles to have appeared on my blog over the years. The original post and comments can be found here. Any time there is a post about ideal org failures, there is a lot of speculation about "Why?" I have written various posts and comments about this from time to time, but realized I had never put it all in one place. There are two reasons for the ideal org program that go hand in hand. And it explains why, in spite of the clear failure of this program to bring about planetary clearing, or anything at all … [Read more...]
