Once again, Voldemort was a no-show at Graduation last night. Of course, the blind being led by the blindest explain this away with "He is so busy working to get everything right. You know how important this is and it has to be right because this is critical to the agonized future of every man, woman and child in this sector of the universe..." Perfection is the hallmark of "COB" -- so is never completing anything because it's not yet "perfect." But while the hypnotized and marching in lockstep, there are rumblings from an increasing number who are seeing this for what it really is -- an … [Read more...]
Tampa Bay Times Editorial
Someone sent me this editorial and I am reprinting it here as a public service. As noted elsewhere I can no longer see their website without paying them a fee which I am not inclined to do and there are others interested in the subject who cannot even buy a hard copy of the paper as they live outside Florida. The Editorial makes a good point. If everything is all above board and proper as the church claims, why are they so worried about these lawsuits and doing everything possible to distract from the real issues they raise? Editorial: Cases shine a light into Scientology Friday, … [Read more...]
Pinocchio/Miscavige “Respond” to Lawsuit
Miscavige marionette Karin Pinocchio Pouw has issued another patented ad hominem attack to the media as a "response' to the lawsuit filed last Friday. Quote from the Tampa Bay Times article: Church spokeswoman Karin Pouw said Wednesday that the church had not been served with the lawsuit. But she added: "Based on your questions, the complaint filed in Texas is nothing more than a pathetic get-rich scheme cooked up by unemployed blogger Marty Rathbun, a self-admitted suborner of perjury who is now resorting to using his wife in an attempt to extort money from the church." And she is quoted … [Read more...]

Shelly Miscavige Why She Stays
Tony Ortega continues on a roll of excellent reporting on the Leah Remini story, and again this morning has another very worthwhile piece. Whatever you may think of his personal views of Scientology (which after all, he IS entitled to), you have to admire his courage, his persistence and the network of sources he has built up over many years who feel he is a safe and reliable outlet for their information. He also writes clearly and well and takes the time to explain and include information to make understandable what can often be an impossibly arcane and confusing subject to the … [Read more...]
Miscavige Waving A Red Flag
The red flag is flying on Miscavige's eroding sandcastle. This email is a sure "tell" that he is concerned. Concerned about his own PR and concerned about how he has not had a June 6th event and doesn't have a date for the "GAT II" big top extravaganza which is obviously going beyond his announced target of "late July." The natives are getting restless so he figures a good dose of Dear Leader in all his glory will help placate the rumblings of discontent. Miscavige considers this 1993 "War Is Over" event his greatest performance and most significant accomplishment. He has directed it be s … [Read more...]

Scientologists At War
If you have not yet watched this program, go to his blog and watch it. Though somewhat outdated, it is a pretty objective view of the "Independent Scientology world" a year or so ago. Marty and Tony Ortega were both very good. Thoughtful, intelligent and well-informed. Mosey was magnificent -- calm, rational and cogent. Roast Beef Productions crammed a lot into a little time in a well constructed and edited piece that didnt dip into sensationalism but treated this as a serious issue of religious freedom. Of course, the Church of Scientology looked like abject fools and their statements … [Read more...]
Lana Mitchell — "I did not lose my eternity, I FOUND it."
Next in the series "Life is Good" from another who experienced the horrors of working directly for Miscavige, eventually escaped and is now a recognized leader in a totally new profession and has also moved up the bridge.... Mike Rinder By Lana Mitchell There are many things that cause a person to think twice when having doubts about departing the Church. The most obvious one is the idea that by doing so, you “forfeit your eternity”. By leaving the church you will no longer have access to the OT levels – or to standard tech – so you are damned to continue a homo sapien existence here on … [Read more...]
Phil Colson Speaks
This is the first in a series of postings giving some insight into "Life Is Good After Corporate Scientology". In this case, it also acts as somewhat of a Declaration of Independence for Phil. He is well known in the Denver field as you will see from his write up. Future posts will provide updates on how life is going for some others who are well known to many as prominent former church members. It's part of the program to help those who are under the radar or in doubt to see that there is life, a happier and more fulfilling life, as a former SO member, staff member or reg bait. Mike Rinder My … [Read more...]
